Yeah, thats because your brain sees these images and associates them with memories of places you actually have been to. Things you actually have done, such as the bowling one, or the waterpark, or the indoor playspaces. Images like these can convince your brain that they truly *are* that exact same place you remember, even though they're not at all.

0:55 not even joking, I saw this exact place in my dreams, I'll explain, upstairs is a straight hallway with beige walls and 4 wooden doors on the left and right side of the hall, directly in front of the staircase is a closet, if you climb up the bar above the closet you enter a hatch, the room looks identical to the hall you were just in, except with another small square hatch on the right side if the hall, center the hatch and you crawl through a area until you reach a perfectly square room with yellowish beige walls and a painting on the wall facing the hall from the vent, each time I've had the dream something changed, the second time I had it the painting was gone, the third time and everything was a shade of red. I feel like I've been there in real life, but I I havnt. I need to know where that is so I can see if the dreams were true because I feel a strange connection to that house.
I just wanna say, that image on the cover made me feel quite comfortable because it has my favorite color of walls(yellow) and the carpet reminds me of the carpet at the church i go too, and i do have some happy memories from my earlier childhood there.
I have the impression of having already seen that whereas I do not know. It is as if I hear music that I have never heard in my existence but that I know the lyrics. 3:42 I'm scared .. I had a dream when I was little and this was the place I dreamed of. I can't help but watch videos like this.

Now that i think about it, here's something none of us here will EVER go back to. I wonder what the world was like through our eyes, before we could read, or truly understand the world around ourselves? A meaningless plane of colour and depth, illuminated signs reading nothing but complete gibberish, wanting to get up and look around, but not yet having the strength to? Watching from a woven basket, the ceiling lamp above you spinning, being lifted into a car, and suddenly a different ceiling is above you. The simpler days, in which you sat down all day in a crib, with all manner of toys and food at your demand. I try to remember those days, but all that's there is one faint memory. What was it like?
I love this vídeos so fucking much, I never get tired of them... It's like traveling to a different plane of existence, a different world, a different place that I've visited before and yet feels alien and unnatural, but only remember so little... Truly the stuff dreams äre made of.
I feel like most of these places would be way more interesting to ppl who aren’t American cuz I’ve definitely been to a few of these or somewhere similar, like 4:17 looks like the outside of a Walgreens at night
i am from the Caribbean and i can confirm these are very interesting, some of them remind me of places ive been to even tho the only similarity is the lighting or texture of an object, especially at 4:55 it just gives me feels of a beach house i visited regularly as a kid. I just cant help to wonder what memories were actually made in these places, even tho not having ever been to America these photos really opened up my mind to what more there is out there and how differently people live their lives
I really wish my life before this was a kid who got to grow up in the 60's through to the 90's. That time frame was my favourite for some of the fashion; besides the 1800 of course :)
2:14 This image brought back a (somewhat) bad memory; something that happened a few years back. Me and my family were moving to Idaho and on the way there, we drove through Iowa where, it was literal dark and stormy night and we could barely see where we were going. It was so bad in fact, that a flash flood began to form but luckily, we stumbled upon a nearby hotel where we had to take shelter in. We couldn't afford a room and even if we could; they were completely booked, so they just let us sleep in the auditorium. But the reason why I bring this up is because the flood managed to just barely reach the hotel where in some areas, the water was up to just past our ankles but, because it was on a hill, there were some areas that were completely dry. Needless to say, the floor of the hotel, in the wet areas, looked just like the floor in this image; absolutely covered in water. On a more positive note, it wasn't all that bad, at least for me and my family; as the hotel DID serve free breakfast in the morning. But regardless, the whole flood scenario is a memory that I most likely will never forget, unfortunately.

Been waiting on this to be in a liminal space video thank you
I just wanna say, that image on the cover made me feel quite comfortable because it has my favorite color of walls(yellow) and the carpet reminds me of the carpet at the church i go too, and i do have some happy memories from my earlier childhood there.
I have the impression of having already seen that whereas I do not know. It is as if I hear music that I have never heard in my existence but that I know the lyrics. 3:42 I'm scared .. I had a dream when I was little and this was the place I dreamed of. I can't help but watch videos like this.

You know you could've added timestamps?
@@Steve12966 hmm
Congratulations! You have successfully no clipped out of this time and gone back to the 80’s!
This is like the cursed images trend but more cursed because uhhh
*UHHHHhhhhhh*
Becuz it's randomly nostalgic and with Macintosh Plus on the background
It’s those 80s/90s wacky floors and walls in arcades, and big empty spaces. Wtf
2:20
-laughs is glasses-
5:01 this is pretty much my friend's living room but flipped
this makes me wanna cry
with macintosh plus this feel comfortable
2:05 I could’ve sworn I’ve been there..but idk maybe it’s just me..BUT I SWEARRRR
I love the music in combination with this photos.
I love this vídeos so fucking much, I never get tired of them... It's like traveling to a different plane of existence, a different world, a different place that I've visited before and yet feels alien and unnatural, but only remember so little... Truly the stuff dreams äre made of.
If these images weren’t strangely familiar before, they definitely are now on my fifteenth watch
I feel like most of these places would be way more interesting to ppl who aren’t American cuz I’ve definitely been to a few of these or somewhere similar, like 4:17 looks like the outside of a Walgreens at night
that's definitely a walgreens
i am from the Caribbean and i can confirm these are very interesting, some of them remind me of places ive been to even tho the only similarity is the lighting or texture of an object, especially at 4:55 it just gives me feels of a beach house i visited regularly as a kid. I just cant help to wonder what memories were actually made in these places, even tho not having ever been to America these photos really opened up my mind to what more there is out there and how differently people live their lives
1:03 is the old mall in Meridian, MS I believe
Ive been waiting for this...
I really wish my life before this was a kid who got to grow up in the 60's through to the 90's. That time frame was my favourite for some of the fashion; besides the 1800 of course :)

I swear I've been to 0:34
it looks very similar to the parking lot at the gas station and mcdonalds near my high school
I feel like there's a lot of places like it here in Maryland.
Mtn
it looks like alotta big churches (especially A.M.E. and baptist ones) in the US South from what i can remember

Luigi's Mansion
It's one of the best playlist I saw
Why does the music make it 10X more nostalgic??
yknow it seems to me like the fact the song is macintosh plus-modern computing actually takes out a lot of the uncanniness of these liminal spaces
Every liminal space I’ve been to as an Illinoisan 13-year-old
0:07 I can’t remember much, all I know is that I’ve been here before
0:12 My boyfriend’s house
0:16 my dad’s workbuddy’s house. Feels different when there’s not 90s/2000s R&B blasting and some tiny poodle barking its head off while you play with it faintly drowning out your dad and his work buddy’s words
0:23 The bowling alley I wore cat ears too. My mom went there in the 90s!
0:28 Same as 0:07
0:40 Another picture but I remember the walls having pictures of superhero comics on the wall and on the stands where you put stuff while you bowl there was a drawing of a bowling pin who was covered in bloody bandages. That’s right, THE BANDAGES HAD BLOOD SOAKED INTO THEM
0:43 The cafe of the trampoline park I went to not long after I broke my spine. 9 year old me fr thought it was a good idea to go to the trampoline park with a broken spine
0:49 when I was 4 I went to an arcade in a hotel and stole the hammer for whack a mole. the 22 year old couple was completely unfazed and just starting hitting the moles with their hands for a minute even though I ripped the hammer right from the woman’s hands. I gave it back after a minute or so
0:55 How my best friend’s house looks when not covered in Christmas decorations basically (just add a cat, a German shepherd with floppy ears, a fursuit, some cages, and a deformed man with a Barney plushie”
1:35 The cafeteria I was forced to pray at even though i’m agnostic and threw a fit at too when I found out that we no longer got recess
1:40 Eating cinnamon pretzel bites on these benches while playing with your brand new build a bear>>>>>>>
1:43 my local Barnes and Noble library has a cafe
2:00 this building has a drive through and we’ve only used the drive through for years now
2:20 roblox house
2:29 same as 0:07
2:39 how do I not tumble down this slope when I run down it when we go to the garden at school
I’ll update later
This makes me nostalgic for a life I never experienced
0:40 I think I have been there. 0:51 and that place I was in a dream. Most pictures were relaxing, a few were genuinely uncomfortable but cool video anyway
What how are you thinking of this stuffff
@@MtnDew4828 I don't get the question...
