I just reached home some hours back after 1600 km drive in Eastern Nagaland (for the last one week) .The lord alto I used had 121000 km in the odo but I trusted this little gem and it delivered ...no issues. The roads were a mixture of very bad roads with boulders , water clogged roads , tarmac , off roading , high climbs to Swift downhill roads....this old Alto performed and took all the thrashing the road could throw . I dare tata premium hatchbacks with 5 stars to do this after it is used for 8 -9 years .😂
Just goes to show you don't need big fancy SUVs to go on an adventure. A small car, with big heart and people willing to push themselves - that's plenty. Brilliant stuff, team!

Have an Alto in the family for over 14 years now. Practically grew up in it. From going to school in it, to passing out from college, it's been there through thick and thin. The AC's gone, the radio doesn't work, complete barebones . But in the right gear, put your right feet down and you'll surprise yourself and a lot of other people driving on the same road. The pluck that this tiny car has is unbelievable it's one of those cars you can keep pushing to the limit without worrying what's gonna happen. In 14 years all that's given out is the AC, the clutch had to be replaced once and that's it, no other mechanical faults. This car is built in a way that if taken good care of can run for decades on the end. The power to weight ratio is just perfect for the city and it's one of those cars that you can weave through traffic. Trust me, not exaggerating, but if you underestimate this car I feel sorry for you. I'm so thankful to evo India for making such content and going on such beautiful adventures . Keep up the good work. Love from Kolkata.
Man my family own Alto since 2008. Still loves it to the core while driving it. The engine still gives me a smile when I drive it. It's manual 800 CC 3 cylinder engine without power steering and air bags but it gets the job done so well and I love it so much.
People dismiss the Alto K10 thinking it's a cheap vehicle. Yes it is cheap. But it doesn't make it in-capable. It is a very capable and reliable machine. The safety is sketchy but it was made with weight reduction in mind.

My family owned 3 Altos at one time, two K10s first gen, one 800 LX and still have one K10 automatic. They're like small little go karts. No fuss, does whatever you throw at it. I don't have one with me right now but I miss it so much. I've done 1100 kms one way trip with 4 adults and luggage, cruising at 100-130 kmph and with AC my 2011 Alto K10 would give a mileage of 19.5 kmpl. It cost us a (princely 😂) 3.65 lakhs on road so we bought two in two months. Truly a fantastic people's car. I'm glad that people are now recognising it for what it is and not just label it as a cheap entry level car - thanks to Instagram and all the meme videos 😂.

Alto is just a amazing car... the power to weight ratio is helping the car a lot in offroading but more than that the driver had to be that great... and lastly one que..! you got the MT or AMT version in this video...??
Cars are more like accessories now. People buy them to show off. Sadly there is no place for these versatile small machines in a society as hollow as ours.
I hate the fact that I sold my alto 800 2014 for a swift cng. This 2023 wouldn't take half of what alto 800 would have taken. Hats off to alto makers. Instead of giving up on alto, Suzuki should focus on preserving brand alto. However, I did give up on alto to buy swift, so I'm no different.
The reason why ALTO is called GOAT is because it's been gliding on the mountains for years now, it never mattered whether there were roads or not. The fact its light weighted and ridiculously reliable.People in mountains buy them because they know first of all it doesn't fall apart, and if it does still it will get fixed easily and will run like new. the same formula was applied for jimny, Tractable light weighted and reliable Off-roader(it has to be small because its kinda kei car). It's sad that many wanna be enthusiasts who don't know a thing or two can't digest a great Off-roader and just troll it for its size.
Greatest of all time for obvious reason and congrats to team evo for making this happen ❤🎉 kudos……but i dont see the keyboard warriors spitting negativity😂 the video is answer for them 😂

I am using alto 14 years still going. Lord Alto 😌💪
Oh that's epic!
*LORD ALTO*
Did you estimate fuel consumption of this model? As an owner, the Alto 800 is a great car hopping that this will continue with the legacy!!! I am waiting for this Alto in my country (it will be imported in next months). By the way, your country is really beautiful, maybe some day I will know it. Greetings from Costa Rica, Central America.
lord alto. lets gooo
Alto is just a amazing car... the power to weight ratio is helping the car a lot in offroading but more than that the driver had to be that great... and lastly one que..! you got the MT or AMT version in this video...??
Humble car xtreme ride kudos to Team EVO India👍👍
Thanks a ton Pramodh!
If only Maruti can offer 4 star safety on this car, I'm getting one
It’s 3 star which is good enough
I bought my brand new 2005 Alto LXI, Done 2,30,000 kms and still smoking some BS6 NA petrols easily !
Haha!
Miss my 2001 Alto Lx❤
Damn! Planning to get it back?
Kudos to cinematographer too🙌🙌
Thank you!
Cars are more like accessories now. People buy them to show off. Sadly there is no place for these versatile small machines in a society as hollow as ours.
It still is the most sold car in India, almost every month.
@@evoIndia Not anymore it was in the 17th spot last month. Sales has been steadily declining.
Super episode, Evo!!!!
Thank you so much Ajay!
Tbh could have done with any hatchback in India but I really liked this video, nice detailing and good effort for the cinematography👍
But there's a good reason the Alto rules the Himalayan roads.
@@evoIndia yes and it is it's light kerb weight, guess what ignis could have done with bigger engine!
@@pistonhead05mileage 😅 ....can you believe I just exchange my 2019 elite i20 sport+ with 2023 K10 base model
Perfectly put what the Alto is all about!
Especially thar fan bois , they are the most f ups of car community and disrespect the og goat JIMNY
Maruti Suzuki Should Add one more Variant ALTO K10 ULTRA ! Great Video
Haha!
Thanks for the compliment!
Superb...You made me think of this trip.. But not with any time limit..!!
Definitely worth doing! Do it at your comfortable pace; it will be a memory of a lifetime
Very very very nice video... great...can you please tell me that is it AMT or manual
Thank you!
This is the MT.
