Finally one team of journalist using Tata cars for what it is meant to be used as. And I really love the shot of Tata Sumo following the Tata Safari. After all, Sumo was the Highway car of India.
It’s great to see that a FWD Tata Safari is all you need to tackle even the toughest and most remote parts of the country. Honestly, no one in their right mind would want to spend on a 4x4 and deal with its expensive maintenance when 90% of the driving is in the city - unless it’s your second or third car. Tata has its flaws, but it’s built tough. The suspension might not be what you’d call supple, but it can handle serious rough terrain without breaking a sweat. I picked one up 4 months ago, and I can’t wait to take it on the journey to Ladakh. Great content, Evo! If you had run into any issues with the car, we trust you’d have shared it, even if it was branded content. Well done!
@@devrajd4008 You’d be amazed to see what the right kind of tires can do for a FWD car’s capability. Investing in them for those occasional mudslinging adventures is far more cost-effective than buying a 4x4 for such rare events. Unless, of course, you live in Cherrapunji.
I would say, "THE BEST ADVENTUROUS VIDEO OF SAFARI ON UA-cam"... It's really fascinating ❤❤ Edit: Your content quality and efforts deserves millions of Subscribers
It’s content like this that set’s Evo India apart from the rest. The sheer quality of this video, the elaborate manner in which you guys talk about the topic at hand, amazing. Thank you so very much Team Evo India. Much love & respect from Goa.
Everything is good and justified no need for 4x4 in regular us/ tricky terrains.. but Unless tata improves the reliability and service reputation nothing groundbreaking will be seen in sales numbers
I was just 7 years old when safari was launched. Here I'm in 2024 who just booked a safari. Grateful to the almighty for making this possible.Thank you Sireesh for bringing up this beautiful saga between machine and nature. This is a 15 min meditation therapy for me. Oh man!! Those visuals. I would also love to see the raw footage of this video if at all you could make it available. Cheers!!
True, I have tackled all NE terrain in my Safari. Even went to Sella Top in Arunachal in peak snowfall, even I was surprised where no 4x4 car even try to attempt it except one BRO truck. When we reached our homestay the owner was surprised at it. PS- I am just 19 and my father along with another family drove 2004 WagonR. (It mainly depends on driver) but super enjoyable on any part of country. Would love to share pictures if anyone asks in IG
Totally resonate with what you said and displayed. Took my safari to spiti including langza, komic and losar, and it was an absolute breeze to go on such rugged terrain with such ease. Loved the video. Wished the section was open at the end of the video, some other day maybe 😊
that's no place for a 2WD SUV . . . a Safari without 4WD, never thought it'd be a reality . . . this terrain is best for SUZUKI Jimny 4WD, it's biggest advantage in such challenging terrain is size & a simple 4WD . . .
Like you really would be the first person rushing to buy the Safari & harrier the moment they launch the 4Wheel drive-train... Your words are a mockery of yourself!!
Fabulous video guys! Also in terms of the post production quality. That slo-mo shot towards the end where the Safari passes by the waterfall, really nice stuff! Love the new Safari, what a wonderful car!
I've New Safari. But, I'll admit that in this video a typical tough terrain isn't tested where you need a 4WD. And it would be tough for 4X2(FWD) to go through tough terrains.
If u really wanna taste real adventure cme to menchuka n monigong located in Arunachal pradesh..Land of real adventure lover...ladakh also a gud choice but most of the youtuber explore it...
No doubt Tata's chassis is so strong to take on these roads with ease. Their suspension calibration helps in attacking the potholes at higher speeds. But the biggest issue lies in owning a Tata. Your life may turn into a living hell with all the problems that come with the car as quality and after-sales.
Actually Safari Dicor and Safari Storme were true SUVs...! Rugged looks, simple mechanisms...etc You should make more and more videos on old G Safaris...! Also related to buying and maintaining Safari storme/Dicor ; their spare part availability, maintenance, servicing ...etc
Also one big question, were there any creaks and rattles you faced , from the dash, the doors etc? What was your honest take on the Safari’s suspension quality, given you churned 100’s of kms literally on bad surfaced roads(if you may call em).
Safari was the only RWD and 4*4 which was the best thing a customer could buy. All safari owners know how beast of a vehicle it was. Now just to make it cheaper you want it to be a FWD. Indian cars have gone from super built to cardboard material. I am sad that tata did this to the iconic safari. 💔

Safari looks fabulous. But tge name of this new generation Safari should have been GRAVITAS or any name else and the Macho SAFARI STORME / DICOR must have been updated. I still love Storme and Dicor.
Mate frm where u get the permission for Cliffhanger as its closed frm past few years & i hv travelled twice in last 2 years to kishtwar via Sach Pass-Killar-Sural bhatori route...❤❤
I'm happy you accepted challenge on Tata Safari however please take a stop and change you statements like from 'this is a SUV' to 'a crossover' and 'the safest' to 'one of the safest car'. This is not a SUV for sure as just alter the situation of the road from dry to wet and both of your so called SUV can never came out of those roads and that I can bet.
I would urge Evo India not to mislead the customers. This Tata Safari is a front wheel drive, not a ladder on frame chassis, under powered for an SUV, no limited slip differential or locking differential. If you call Safari an SUV then what is the Fortuner, the Thar or the Gurkha?
Where would you take the Tata Safari for an epic adventure?
Tata service centre for sure
Just like your enthusiastic adventure. Somewhere over the rainbow 🌈
Siachen base camp

Most 4x4s from Mahindra are cheaper to buy and maintain than the Safari... And they're more reliable...

Rip ratan tata.

You have comfortably skipped the 4wd part.
But if Safari front wheel drive can do this route then Tata's decision is 110% correct.

say Hi next time!
I respect and proud Mr RATAN TATA SIR
I'm working tata service diagnostic expert traine past two year's till now i didn't face issues with harrier safari engines
It's high time, Tata Safari should come with 4x4. Front wheel drive only Tata Safari needs a Update.
Reliable is not the word you associate with tata cars. Kudos for the safety though
NGL one of my favourite cars in term of looks and design ❤ (They should put AWD in it we are paying 30 lakhs, they can atleast do this)

Please just dont it for granted that even maruti 800 can run on this road
A Honda shine driving in the background
