Hey Fam! So I realized after recording that the double sided heat and flat iron lock is for curling your hair! Kind of genius if you ask me 😝! Lol so with that being said, it definitely worth the price cause you kind of get two styling tools in one! But my opinion on “the hype” still stands lol 🤪
I noticed your hair didn’t get pin straight with one pass, which was also my issue.
Mind you, I was using the flat iron on wavy hair at 350 degrees so it really should have made it pin straight with a single pass.
i ended up buying the BabyLiss Porcelain ceramic flat iron and it’s WAY better than their nano titanium tools. It gets the hair PIN straight with one single pass at only 300 degrees. I like that I can get away with lower heat and it makes the hair super sleek and straight

What’s your texture? Like hers? 300 pin straight is impressive, I have 3B 3C medium high density hair and I need at least 375 for pin straight
@@pabritova Hey! I make wigs so I have tried this flat iron on curly wigs and my friends 3-/3B curls and I still only had to use 325 for it to get straight (after a good blow out, of course)

@@SashieETV dang! I definitely had to turn the heat up for desired results. I think it’s a good iron, well made, and sturdy, just not worth the hype of what the community has been talking about lol
@@SashieETV I put my heat on 359 and it got silky and straight mine was only puffy when I tried at 260-300 I have 3c/4a hair for reference
It’s a great flat iron. I would recommend actually sliding down your hair a little slower, and your results will be even silkier.

Is the lock not for the curling feature which is why the other side gets so hot? So that it becomes a curler and flat iron.

Honestly, Tymo due to the price point. Babyliss gives better results but the price is not affordable for some people
