I haven’t had to purchase flat irons in over 10 years, after going natural. I’m now wearing wigs and know absolutely nothing about the curling irons on the market. This video has helped me tremendously. Just purchased the Prima 3000 iron. Thank you so much! 💙
@@Ohkeh640 It’s phenomenal, I love it. There are five temperature settings, I’ve never had to use it pass 380F (3rd setting). It gets hot very quickly and flat irons my wig to perfection. I haven’t used it on my natural hair yet, but it shouldn’t be a problem. It comes with a heat protection glove and I haven’t even used it yet. My natural hair is long and thick too, you just have to get used to it in your hand and be careful while using it.
Thanks for the shout out! 🙌🏼🤗😘you are so right about The Prima heats up outside, there is a risk of burning yourself but believe me I have never burned myself, the day I took to my hairdresser she burned me. Like yourself I prefer the Prima 3000( I have been doing my own hair for a long time hence the experience). This is the best and most thorough review of these 2 flat irons! Kudos to you 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🤗👏🏼👏🏼😄
I swear by these flat irons. No matter what hair type I have in my chair it will get it super straight. Just use the glove that is included with the flat iron to keep from burning yourself 😄
@@afreenyousaf9438 Hi beauty! If you are going to use it on yourself maybe start with the nano titanium (the baby blue one). But get it in the 1 inch. The one she used here is a little too big in my opinion and heavy to manipulate. Make sure that you are deep conditioning before you straighten so that the hair isn’t so dry. Use a quality leave in product and then blow dry the hair using the tension method. I like to use a denman brush. The key to a flawless silk press really is how well the hair is blow dried and flattened before hand. You should get the hair mostly straight with a blow dryer and tension brush, that way with the flat iron you only need one single pass. Take half an inch or quarter inch sections as well.
Thank you for this review, just bought the Prima. From your review, it sounds like it will meet my needs. As a feminine androgynous male, who attracts masculinity to me. I NEED my hair to be on point at ALL times!! 😎👌🏽✨Spent a ton of money this year on expensive irons (Dyson Corrale, Steampod, etc) with lackluster results. Then I noticed my stylist was using a similar iron to this…and it came out so much better!!! Thank you again.
I really needed this review. My hair needs the 465F heat. Otherwise, my hair just frizzes up after a couple of hours if the irons isn’t hotter than 450 lol. Trying out the morticia look rn. So I need a good iron.
Hey lady! Looking good as always! I’ve been getting more comfortable with using the flatiron. It’s always fun to learn new things to do to my hair myself. I still haven’t taken it up to a higher temperature as I am not as confident yet… but I am getting there!
Yes I definitely recommend waiting on the temp increase until you feel confident and test out your own hair. Some textures are more susceptible to heat damage. Thanks for watching. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you sharing this valuable info about really good working and effective flat irons I’ve been wanting to use a flat iron on my natural hair. I was using a ceramic flat iron and the end result was a hot mess. I will definitely buy the Nano 3000, today.

Thank you for taking time to give this review and comparison of both flat irons. I too have been doing my own hair but for me it was 12 years old with relaxers and color 😊 I love and have been using my Solia flat iron that is wow has to be at least 10+ years old and thank God is still going strong that is ceramic. I am now natural thank God no big chop just kept trimming til all the relaxer was gone. I am finding that for some reason the front and extreme back reverts and curls up ☹ I started looking into titanium because of the positive reviews with yours being one of them. Your hair looks beautiful and I am definitely going to purchase the Prima 3000. That side came out much more silkier than the other one. Thank you again I needed to see this. Take care!
Hey just making a comment for the UA-cam algorithm. Some of us are dudes are trying to learn how to do our wives hair she's costing me 600 a month just for hair lol
Looking for a new flat iron, 4c bra length hair. Would you still suggest this one? Do you have a ceramic suggestion? I use to use a Chi a decade ago which I loved. I tried HSI and tossed it. I appreciate your video detail and visuals.
Great and informative video and comparison. What's the difference between the 2 you mentioned above and the regular BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Flat Iron Hair Straightener, 1" Digital Hair Straightener? Which cost $99?
Thanks so much for your videos. I want to get a Christmas gift for my best friend this December. Both her and me have never used any of these blowout, dryer or straightening tools before. Pls whats the best option for our 4c natural hair? I mean tool, brand and model/version. I really need your advise ASAP, I’m confused what to get. Thank you so much!
