Hi everyone! I'm soooo excited to release a cover of Corridors of Time, as requested by a HUGE number of you for the LONGEST time. It's actually one of my very favorites from Chrono Trigger, but it was determination I needed to start the hard work of learning this somewhat-of-a-beast piece. If any of you are pianists, you know that reading three staves at once is terribly confusing, so I worked quite a bit on developing strong muscle memory instead of relying so much on reading. In the end I think I succeeded and came out with something worth listening to. I hope you think so too!

I play Chrono Trigger once every couple of years. EVERY time I get to the part where this track (also my ringtone) plays for the first time, a tingle goes up my spine.

I remember the experience... it was so profound I immediately searched online for the music... This was before youtube and I found it somehow where I could download the song from some random "gaming music" website... This was in the late 90s when the game had been out for a few years. I still have that file on my PC. :)

Stop, you're gonna make me cry like a kid. This takes me back to the days where I would play Chrono Trigger during the winter holidays of 1999 and would be awestruck by its graphics and music, the story, and of course the band of friends who make the journey across time, together.

Shinkei DEI he actually got lots of bis music from dreams while working on CT. That's also why it has such a spiritual connected sound and feel to it

    •  7 років тому +9

He put so much heart he burn out and Nobuo Uematsu gave him a hand for finishing the OST.
