I disagree with you about Janelle. It is possible for women to be feminine in their lifestyle, choices, actions, etc. and masculine in their personality and thinking ie. alpha-type personality. There are lots of women who display traditionally masculine traits of being loud, aggressive, decisive, etc. (not in a negative way), but are super girly in their clothing and lifestyle choices.

I don't agree that women are more emotional than men. We just choose to express a wider range of emotions. When men get upset they usually default to anger because they feel like they aren't allowed to express anything else but anger is still an emotion.
Biologically and primitively, men are built to hunt for food and provide shelter while woman are back home to do chores and raise children. During those hard times, if you as the hunter of the family, if you cry and wail like a baby, it makes you look weak and useless because people back home are depending on you for resources. So that's one part of the social patriarchy. To be honest, now with many people can just work for 1 hour and buy food, social construct is being challenged and we are now seeing both genders becoming more equal socially, culturally, financially speaking.

What you ladies often forget is that its not just the emotions we feel that determine how emotional we are, its the way we express it as well. Men often suppress their emotions and when they come out, yeah it can be in the form of anger. But that still doesn’t come close to the anger women express. In an arguement, who often raises their voice first? Its women. They’re also more sensitive which can lead them to cry more. Men also choose to think more logically then emotionally. Its just a biological fact. Same as men on average being stronger than women.

You can think what you want but unless you dont want to be a conspiracy theorist i would suggest you to look up the studies.

" they feel like they aren't allowed to express anything" not feel like, TOLD TO, by our fathers and mothers, although women like to deny the mother part.

Janelle genuinely was like: Dang! I hurt my back in boot camp therefore no woman can presume any leadership role physically or mentally
I was so baffled when she said that. Like lady just say you couldn't handle it, don't bag on us women that actually made it through basic saying we are incapable of it.
But to hear her talk she has more masculine energy than the men in that room.
@@x25violator Beg to differ there. But either way she was so keen on specific binary energies and was the main one that thought she had feminine energy, rather than masculine. She felt she needed to tell men on how they needed to be, but she was it the whole time.

@Loki actually we don't differ at all. Maybe the way I worded it was odd. I agree with you 💯
I actually really appreciate when Jubilee editors keep the moments when the producers/directors try to keep the conversation on track. It's really easy to just edit these moments out in post-production. But I think seeing reactions of the participants is really telling. Also it's interesting to see when producers/directors in Jubilee feel the need to interrupt.
They edit out hours of content, i would prefer if they edit out producers, it’s not about them.

The discussion you are seeing is watered down. They edit out huge chunks, especially controversial parts.
Janelle, being someone who believes she needs to be "feminine" is seated very deeply in her masculine energy, just seen by the way she pushes, and goes forward in conversation, she is invasive and non-receptive.
Yeah, she mansplained all of her points
THISSSSS.
Thats called presenting your opinion and thoughts bruh..
@@tpwa205 And that's clearly very masculine according to her, because women shouldn't be as outspoken as men, and women are too emotional to be rational leaders.
do you disagree with her points? Because if so, it sounds like you're wanting her to fit more into her woman role...
Mason is calm, collected, concise yet soft spoken. He is nothing short of a gentleman.
“I don’t pressure. I just tell him”. Jenelle has me FUCKED UP with that statement. Telling your son what he should be is GOING to put pressure on him to conform to that.
Coming from a family that told me I was supposed to be straight, I ended up with a lot of internal conflict and self loathing because what they told me I should be and who I actually was were two different things.
I pray her child never has to go through that.
Exactly I dunno how people think it’s ok to say that kinda stuff

All I heard were repeated takes from the red pill movement. Fresh & Fit precisely. Not a single thought or idea of her own. It’s embarrassing
@@duckymomo7935 She herself said women are emotional. Why are people listening to this emotional woman?
In language and literature classes, who are the most recognised names in poetry, theatre, novels, etc.? Most of them are men's names. What did most of these names talk about in their works? Love, break-ups, jealousy... No emotions at all. Only logic and maths here.
“Woe is me, I can’t have a kid because I’m too poor.” Was probably one of the most infuriating things I’ve ever heard. Kaylee is obviously someone who hasn’t had too deal with too many financial issues ever in her life. If you feel financially burdened, it’s going to be hard to want to bring a child into that. In these cases it tends to be the more selfless decision to decide not to have a child.
Same. It came across as very callous and insensitive/uncompassionate to the struggles that many people unfortunately have to go through.
I grew up with malnutrition. I remember eating cereal with water because we couldn't afford it. Or, my single mom going to the gas station for some hostess cakes for a meal because she had to raise three kids on her own. My father was abusive and rampantly abandoning his children and families.
I blame my father for most of my suffering and the pain caused throughout my life because he wasn't there and never paid child support.
It's upsetting how people attack the poor.
this pissed me off soooo much that was so tone deaf of her to say as an obviously privileged person
I couldnt agree more. She was completely close minded to the FACT that many people can not afford ivf or adoption etc... She then rambles on to say that the state offers help for childcare and financial burdens alike... n blah blah... Literally talked in circles. Her privledge is showing. Hard body.
It was unbelievable to hear that. If you’re barely making ends meet for yourself, having a child will sink you into welfare.
Jenelle really said "I'm not interested in putting anything that alters my body" in response to birth control pills.
Meanwhile her breasts…..
Funny you say that. She looks like she has implants.
Male birth control is a joke, men shouldn't take it.
😂 yeah I was looking for someone to comment the same thing.
To be fair, birth control pills alter hormone production which definitely alters the body. But ya I didn’t like that woman
Jenelle HAS to be the most hard-to-watch person I’ve ever seen in a Jubilee video, period. And I’m not even half way into the video. She doesn’t let anyone get their point across or talk without interjecting or eye-rolling.
a close second to erin
And top of everything she tried hitting on Daniel at one point
I feel like 80% of the video was her talking 🙄😒

but I think the hardest person to watch in the history of this channel was that trans woman Blossom lol.

As a feminist, Amala and Torrie are two people I could see myself having deep meaningful conversations with. Yeah I don’t agree with everything they say and somethings I completely disagree with, but there are certain points that they made that I can either agree with or see their side.

“I don’t put pressure on my son to be straight. I just tell him he has to be attracted to women.” Make it make sense Jenelle 🙃
Like biology intended. Dont normalize homosexuality.
Telling your son to be attracted to a woman is the same as putting pressure on him to be straight
I thought the LGBTQ were welcoming of all orientations?
What if she’s fine with her son to be attracted to trans-women ? That’s not straight, that’s pansexual.
*should… makes a difference
Well it does, sexuality refers to sex, not gender, which are different according to liberal ideology.
It's unfortunate that these women think of themselves as "too emotional" to do certain things.
As if emotions are bad, part of being human, if you speak about emotions you are too emotional. And then men are seen as non emotional and logical, when so often men just arent in touch with their emotions or talk about them, causing them to actually act out very emotionally and impulsively because to control your own emotions, it helps to at least try understanding them!
rather that than "We can be emotional without consequence but you can't be because it inconveniences me"
By "too emotional" they are implying "more likely to act without ration". I don't necessarily agree, but I think there is an uncomfortable truth here about gender differences that people are afraid to admit - which is: women are more neurotic on average. This is an actual psychological fact. And they cycle their emotions in many ways that keep them from being as objective as men can be.
That's a fact. Not everyone is the same, but let's face it. Women are way emotional and that's truly amazing. It's not supposed to be changed for some position to prove some ppl wrong
@@sayyestolife333 Indeed. Another annoying thing is how many frame with the adjective "emotional" only those emotions perceived as weak, such as sadness, compassion, etc., despite anger being an emotion that can also make you weak.

Jenelle is by far the least intelligent person I have witnessed. Her statements had no logic reasoning, she never listens, speaks to just hear her own voice. Scary to think she is raising the next gen of men.
why?
She mentioned she grew up very poor as a member of "the system" so what I gathered is that she probably didn't have a ton of role models growing up. She also said she had her son out of wedlock and needed government assistance to help her as a single parent. Not saying it's an "excuse" but a reason why she's so "spicy" and outspoken. She's a product of the environment in which she was raised where she's probably had to fight for her rights and to be heard. Her trauma induced behaviors/aggression were very evident.
@@HouseMDaddict Her voice doesn't count tho cause shes saying the wrong things, we can dismiss her as "not a woman".

i think janelle’s trauma from being trafficked is completely affecting her view on sex work, patriarchy/masculinity, gendered roles, and honestly everything in this video.
I agree.
I mean that’s kinda valid?
I don’t necessarily agree with her points, but trauma affecting her views on a subject isn’t necessarily a bad thing. We all are going to have biases brought to the table that are going to affect the way we view the world, and I am sure there are people with similar traumas that have the opposite opinions.
