Well that was a good tutorial I was impressed with how well you did and I think I will try it out being I am a beginner . I am yet to learn the technique and the basics of knife making 😊
Jason those are great I am needing some good blade tongs. Thanks for this video this is probably one of the easiest set of blade/flat stock tongs I have seen forged yet. Not to mention your the first to do this style on UA-cam. I think this video is going to be one of your most popular.. Cheers,Martin M&S Blades
Yesterday I was struggling forging a knife without having the right tongs... I think I'll make a pair of these! Did you use mild steel? (Sorry if you mentioned it in the Video, I skipped some parts because I want to go out now and spend some time in the shop)
Plain old mild steel... probably 1018 or A36. Not sure which one my local steel yard usually stocks, but whichever one it was in 3/4" round, is what I started with.

Hey, great job. They are just like everything else, practice.
Awesome work! I'm just starting out myself, gonna give them a try. I've learned alot from your videos on forging. Thanks for what you do.
Very Cool method, I'm gonna try it.
That is a great Idea, I really like those, will have to try them!
Great work! I can definitely see a couple of these in my future. They seem less confusing than the tusk jaw style.
