And dealing with the utter Hellscape that the show is there isn't time for decades long redemption arcs. Negan has proven time and again that He's an asset to the greater good that our main characters are striving towards. Absolutely nobody is without guilt at this point. Yes, He's still got a long ways to go, but He's one of the team now. Got to let people progress if you actually want a better World.

Beta survived getting knives jammed *into his eyes,* didn't scream once while being devoured by walkers, and managed to stay standing the whole time.
What an absolute unit.
AND Negan or Daryle alone would not have been able to beat him. So it had to be a sneak attack, even if unplanned.

The Carol and Lydia scene was so emotional, Carol stopped Lydia from committing suicide in episode 16 of season 9 and Lydia stopped Carol from committing suicide in episode 16 of season 10. Also, Angela Kang is one of the greatest things to happen to this show!
I think the reason virgil is back is because he's going to tell everyone about what happened to michonne and why she left which will lead to daryl finding out about ricks survivial

Can we just take a minute to appreciate how much of a boss Beatrice is though? She gets stabbed and screams (naturally) when surrounded by a horde of walkers. Upon the instant realisation that not only is she about to die, but she's about to suffer the most agonisingly painful death a person can probably experience, her first instinct is to try and make sure Carol gets the bag so she can complete their task. Granted, that logically wouldn't make much sense as if Carol were to try and get it, she'd be killed too. But the fact that she has the state of mind to focus on the task, instead of panicking (which would have been completely understandable) like most would, needs to be recognised.

If Gabriel woulda died in that moment it really would have been a great full circle for his character. But I'm glad he lived.
Yes. Lots of channels predicted his death. But no, he lived and his story continues.
Yeah now im convinced that Gabriel, Rosita, and Coco are gonna survive the series because happy endings.
I thought he should have died there to be honest. I think it would have had more meaning and a better impact than him just being saved by Maggie.

I think it is good writing because they had to have a believable and appropriate way that Gabriel could have died or it would have lost its suspense.
I absolutely LOVED this episode , all the emotion and all the characters coming together and staying strong throughout this problem , and the part where Maggie and mystery person came in I literally got goosebumps and got shivers down my spine and seeing carol and Lydia come together like that was so powerful and the Negan/Daryl kill scene with beta was so badass I screamed “F*ck yesss” but anyways love watching your reactions to this show and many others is really awesome and keep up what you and many others love doing , you guys are awesome ❤️🙏
This episode was a 4/10 if they hadn't announced that there will be 6 more. So as a pseudo finale, it's good but anti climactic

When Steve said who the f*** is rolling with Maggie, I felt that in my spirit. When Nikki said "I held them in, I held them in." I thought good for you sis, because mine has fallen roll down and it's a tsunami . This episode was so emotional. when I saw the ending, I literally thought what in the Star wars is going on here 😓🤣.

I'll be honest I haven't even been watching the show for a while now... But I immidiately recognized the armour that those soldiers were wearing.

Yeah, we got The Commonwealth Army + The C.R.M. (Civic Republic Military): The people who have Rick, Al ran into one of their pilots, and they funded groups like The Scavengers and The Pioneers.
I'm still wondering how they're gonna release 30 more episodes with the little amount of story there is left to be told though

@@nikkiroy1527 yes, he has a similar character development in comic, becoming a more heroic person, but clumsily break his leg at a ladder and become early casualties of whisperer war. He die being eaten by zombie while hanging on the ladder. Yes, his comical death is pretty outstanding as well.

Well they aren't Stormtroopers but they are the Commonwealth Soldiers. I've seen the comics and they have the biggest community around. Roughly around 50k people. And btw the Commonwealth and the CRM are two separate large communities. And most importantly they don't have any connections. Plus both of'em are kinda equally matched but the CRM will outclass the Commonwealth. There will be 6 bonus episodes coming out next year and then straight onto the final season of the TWD.

The commonwealth isn’t good or bad. They run on a class system and whatever you did before is what you do now. In the comics the leaders son is a little prick ala Spencer Monroe. He even kills a VERY MAJOR character.

Good reaction, this was a Masterpiece to me, I absolutely loved Lydias story and her and Carols scenes, and loved that Negan went out there to help(even though he didn’t kill Beta himself he did distract him enough for Daryl to kill him), also really thought Gabriel was donzo, but Maggie and the mystery bada** saved him, the shot when Lydia threw Alphas mask and it was falling with the walkers was literal perfection, also it was poetic and beautiful the way Beta died and the scene was absolutely stunning, also Daryl was paying back Negan for saving his life earlier in the season l, also Virgil isn’t a bad guy so Connie is safe with him

We said that when they were introduced to the comics as well. The color scheme doesn't make sense in a post apocalyptic setting. They look way too clean with the white and red.

@@Militant-Mane It was mostly the white that doesn't make sense. Every bit of dirt, every drop of blood, and every dent is gonna show on those things. You expect the clean white aesthetic from a group of futuristic space soldiers, not from a small post-apocalyptic military.
@@jd1800 The Commonwealth houses 50K people. It ain't small at all. LOL. They're definitely not as advanced as the CRM but they got more enhancements that 'ones-up' Alexandria, Hilltop, Kingdom, Oceanside, and the Sanctuary COMBINED. That's enough people to go around to ensure that their armor is in good condition--mass production is key.
Beta seemed like he returned to the state he was in before meeting Alpha, and she was the one that was able to “help” him focus i guess. And add the pain of losing Alpha, he’s left the earth. And the cliff scene was so beautifully done, not only was i emotional for Carol, but it was the end of such a great arc and a fantastic time I’ve had with this show and with reacting channels like yours.

In comic negan final action is beta vs negan,but here we got that daryl kill beta and no action for negan,after this, negan will leave the group like morgan but maggie follow him and want to kill him but after arguments maggie will leave him alone and negan will enjoy her alone life,I don't know the story in this show after whisperer arc maybe they changed the story

What an intense episode loved how Lydia was the one to help Carol get over her issues and i was happy to see Maggie back and i am very interested to see how she will react to Negan starting to become a major part of the community especially after killing Alpha and helping Daryl against Beta all i can say is season 11 is going to great and i can't wait 🔥.............Loved the reaction❤

If they didn't kill Lydia in the whisperers arc I think she will survive the end of the show
She could die but she survives til the very end in the comics. So does Jesus but the show had other plans. Carl survives too until the comics end when he's in his late 30s. Maggie is the leader of everyone and Michonne is the supreme justice (as she was a lawyer before the outbreak). The show doesn't follow the comics exactly though.
Such a beautiful episode, definitely one of the walking dead's best season finales in my opinion

What I never understood about this franchise, is the inconsistent levels of physical strength the walkers display. Here, 19:24 they are strong enough to dismember a human body with their hands as effortlessly as a grizzly bear. -- And yet don't display such strength at any other time.
I am so happy she is back but i am going to need a whole explanation of why Maggie stop checking the messages did she get locked up or something. Also that ending was great so happy Connie back good episode i cant wait for the next one.

My theory is that the CRM and the commonwealth are connected, they are the same thing, this is how it works , if you wear the black suits, you’re a phase 1 soldier, still skilled but not quite yet ,if you wear the white armor, you’re a phase two soldier, you’re more skilled than the other soldiers, it’s like Star Wars clone wars era , they have phase one and two armour, and when season 11 comes and they meet the commonwealth, Daryl and them will know that they aren’t the only ones in the world , leading to the Daryl and carol spin off series , and then the Rick movies , that way the walking dead universe is all connected and the different shows and movies are all on the same timeline moving forward
the white armor look cheesy af though. Tbh I would rather wear the black armor over the white ones. The white look mad uncomfortable and probably cant stop a bullet as it looks plasticky.

From what I've read they aren't connected but that CMR are more skilled and will basically kill anyone they need to.

this was such a good episode to come back to after that long break!!! Finally see connie, The acting with Lydia and carol made me cry, Seeing Maggie return and her seeing Judith bigger. I loved this episode and I just give full props to the new writer who has been killing it this season and from season 9. Like if we just imagine the old head writer of the show, he would've killed carol straight away or kept connie dead. This girl is really writing the show the way it kind of used to be. I cant wait to see what that guy is gonna do or say about michonne cuz he knows why she left and with Judith not saying it to anyone about her mom finding out her dad is alive is because she felt like they would leave her too to look for him so I cant wait to see if they find out from the guy and I cant wait to see daryl interact with connie cuz I love the idea of them possibly being together. also WHERE IS DOG lol. I didn't see him when they were all together in the end, I guess maggies people are with the dog off camera

From various reactions I've seen, I'm glad that I wasn't the only one that thought the Commonwealth dudes were dressed like Stormtroopers!!
The climax of this episode displayed why I never thought the Whispers were a threat. There's no special skill to walking with the dead. Just fight fire with fire. Those communities were needlessly destroyed.
Bro Eugene and princess and Ezekiel and yumiko just got captured by The commonwealth I was not expecting that and I thought there is no way that is the ending

What a freaking good EPISODE I don't regret for waiting so long for this. Connie is back can't wait to know what happened to her because she looks aweful, I'm glad to see virgil joining their group he is the person who knows about Michonne. Lydia I love her relationship with Carol just beautiful, she lost a child and she lost a mother but they found each other the person they lost. Daryl and Negan scene killing Beta I can see a future great duo here. Maggie is back with an unexpected ninja but I know I'm gonna love this new character. RIP beatrice. Princess definitely my number one favorite character yeah girl I freaking love her she brings so much joy in this depressive show that's all what we needed in a apocalypse world and I hope her character will have more storyline two episode with her only it's a crime haha and to finally with this new army dressed up like STORMTROOPERS i don't know how they are but my curisioty is so big I feel like my ovaries are burning 😂😂 just not ready to see Maggie and Negan reunion btw

... So has it been established that the Commonwealth, CRM, and that huge group that Michonne left with are not connected?... If so, this will make TWD, FWD, and the new show TWD World Beyond all must see TV... Especially since The World Beyond show is clearly focused on finding the cure.

I heard a rumor going around that AMC decided to extend season 10 by six episodes as a reward to the fans for pissing them off about the long wait for this episode to air. And, since it ended on a cliffhanger, I think the rumor is true. Anyways, I'm very happy to see you back, and, I hope you both have a great day.

I've never STOPPED watching this show, even watching reruns and I'll watch every spinoff. It doesn't matter that characters die off and new ones introduced. It gives it a more realistic zombie apocalypse. I'm not into the "merch", but I get that marketers and show producers have milked the story for all its worth. Some fans like it, while some other fans take the deaths too personal and quit watching. The writing can be spotty over ten seasons. The actors/characters have done their best with the material and direction of the writers. Special F/X are still top notch. I never read the comix, but I like guessing the arc of the storyline, even when it supposedly veers away from the source material. Got to have a few surprises to please everyone! FTWD, World Beyond, Daryl & Carol, Tales of the Walking Dead and the Rick Grimes movies are all "colors" of the Walking Dead universe and by the final episode of the series should tie all the "loose ends" of the story arc. MAN, I LOVE THIS SHOW! Nikki & Steven I love your reactions and I'd watch your reactions to the "other" Dead shows, if you choose to do them.

I think they wanted a Daryl carol spin-off just because of many people still thinking like "The Walking Dead" still the Rick's show even though he's no longer around and these eventually causing even more people to lost interest with the show especially the old gang walking dead fans.
Tbh, this is such a waste because the show now became incredible again with the new show runner, Angela Kang and it deserve more audience, however people are just too stubborn sometimes.
I thought they were smart for making a new spin off with officially Daryl Carol leading to start all over again from zero to gain audience.
Yeah this shows very important to me to . Me being an og from the very beginning watching every episode of every new season live Sunday nights at 9pm on amc network from literally dah one when the very first episode came out . This show and breaking bad will always be my two favorites

That was a good episode but... the threat so rarely hits the main group that the second you see extras accompanying the group, you know they will be the toll to pay, not the main players.
I must admit I was a bit disappointed how easily and harmlessly they overcame the zombie horde. With Beta and thousands of zombies, I would have expected more combat and life threatening moments than covering themselves in gore and play music.
Still, I dig this show! AND, your reactions :)
