Speaking of Walking Dead, can you guys going to play the telltale series?
@El Vato dude stop the shit!😑 Season 9 was the best season of the show and season 10 has been awesome so far!
@El Vato then don't watch it, simple as that!
I am really hoping that now that Maggie is in Alexandria, they show Glenn’s tape to Hershel. I hope we get Judith watching the Rick and Carl tapes as well. Especially with this show coming to a close... something the kids can always have to remember their fathers.. do you think that is possible??
Maggie's concern is not that Neagan is still alive, but that he is walking around freely. Years ago she decided to let him live so that he would rot in the cell. Now he's free. I think that's the point.
If Negan's face watching Hershel and Maggie walking by is any indication, this might also be the first time it really hit home for him what his actions have caused, because it’s one thing to KNOW what you did and another to SEE the actual consequences in front of your eyes, and here he is seeing for the first time this little boy who will have to bear the consequences of the damage that Negan brought upon him by killing his father
yup!
Yes!! Unlike with Judith who's father battled against & was nearly killed by Negan...here is a little boy that everytime Negan looks at will have to see the man who's eye popped out as he mercilessly bashed in his head. Negan has grown on me but bottom line...he owes a life. Perhaps they'll let him go off because there is now way Maggie can co-exist with him or he'll stay knowing one of his obligations or duties for the rest of his life is to secretly help care for and protect Maggie & Herschel even if it costs him his own life. I'd say that's the least he owes our beloved Glenn.
One of my problems with this whole storyline is that I just don't buy that Maggie would not have killed Negan. I quit watching because of that. Look at what Negan did to Glen. There's no way Maggie doesn't kill him the first opportunity she gets. I came back to watch their interaction but it seems like they're going to try to make some complicated story out of it. I'm not normally a black and white kind of person but in this case I think it is: Maggie has to kill Negan and if she doesn't I don't believe the story.
i'm pretty sure negan has seen enough and more kids who's parents he murdered : p
@@jjohnson4474 She didn't kill Negan because he was so broken down that she felt leaving him alive to suffer was a fate worse than death
BABY HERSHEL MAKES ME WANNA CRY. It’s like seeing Glenn again and I’m seriously not okay
Hershel and Glenn are two different people
@@AzureKite191 Hershel is the name Glenn and Maggie's son. Their kid looks a lot like Glenn so it reminds people of him.
its the way negan killed glenn that maggie will never forget, maybe if he’d shot/stabbed him instead things would be different but he bashed glenns head in so hard his eye popped out & continued to reduced it to a pulp right infront of her.
Also : on a side note I hope lydia isnt sidelined now that the whisperer arc is over, she really come thru in that last episode
Agreed 👍he killed and mocked Glenn the most horrific, brutal way ever imagined, than called the group bunch of pussies while bashing Glenn's 🧠out. I'll never forgive Negan ever... also Lydia needs to now be part of the real group, her character needs to grow to become serious "family arc"
I personally think he’s no more of a villain than Rick. A lot of fans only look at one side of the story. When most of the story follows along a well established, beloved “band of brothers” so to speak, so when someone suddenly comes along and mercilessly scares them into submission, he’s percieved as nothing more than a terrorizing, unforgiving evil. While true, it’s not a radically different scenario than Ricks. They have both killed in cold blood. They both believe that humans are the most important resource in a world that’s void of the vast majority of the population. They both lost their wives tragically.
So while he is perceived as the bad guy, Rick would be considered the bad guy from Negan’s point of view. From Ricks friend circles perspective, at least at first, the Saviors were a small threat that needed to be extinguished. After they realized their mistake, 2 beloved characters were killed in brutal fashion. Negan looks like the villain from that point of view.
If it were to be a story based around Negan, it would’ve looked like this group of people are terrorizing and slaughtering one of his outposts, as well as the motorcycle group being blown up by these people he’s never seen before. He lost a lot of men, so the logical thing to do would be to neutralize the threat, so can you really blame him for doing just that?
The deciding factor in who’s the antagonist is only because it’s The story of Ricks extended family and not Negans.
Glenn was killing people in their sleep he is a terrible person
Considering Negans love of kids, did he know Maggie was pregnant when he killed Glenn? I know he called her “the widow” and “the sick girl” but I don’t recall him knowing she was pregnant. If he didn’t, you know that was a bit of a shock when they arrived in Alexandria. It would be VERY obvious who Hershel's father was.
No, I don't think he knew she was pregnant during the war, but I don't know whether that would have stopped him to be honest
@@TheClever69 it would’ve
@@bishbosh4815 The OP was asking if Negan knew that though
I understand about the origin of the lineup. I know they were out there for issues Maggie was having - and Hilltop had an OBGYN. This was just something I realized when watching last night. I don’t ever recall hearing a single Savior mention it.
“Our group” knew. The lineup was emotional but quiet because they were all terrified and were told not to speak. What Glenn says to Maggie may have helped Negan to link them (as this is the first time he is seeing anyone from Alexandria.) The Saviors left immediately after Carl, Rick, and the axe. Maggie struggles aloud with what has happened but it’s now just “our group” again. Its likely most people at hilltop knew. (I’m basing this on the guy who guilted Gregory into giving up his apple.) Gregory knew because Maggie negotiated getting the ultrasound. However, based on Gregory’s self-promotion/self preservation and how he was super intimidated by Simon, I don’t recall Gregory ever divulging that information.
When Negan and Maggie see each other at the start of the episode, Hershel isn’t with her, but if you go back and watch Negan as Maggie and Hershel walk into Alexandria - there are two brief brief shots of Negan. In his first reaction shot, (41:27 in the AMC app) he looks a bit stunned. Contrast this to his second reaction shot after it cuts back from Maggie. The look on his face is VERY different as he walks back into the house. Maybe he JUST realized that Maggie has even more of a reason to want him dead him than he initially thought. Maybe his face hardens a bit out of guilt and knowing he’s never going to live down what he did.
*OR*
Maybe this is just a load of bollocks because I am totally spitballing here. 😁
@Bish Bosh LOL!! Facts! 😂 Didn’t they try to explain it by saying in TWD timeline everything that happened was only over the span of a few weeks? Those people were BUSY!
I imagine that issues with Lauren Cohan leaving necessitated this, but I have always been sad that after being invested in Glenn and Maggie since season 2 and the circumstances of Judith’s birth, (with Maggie’s help,) they didn’t give us an episode about Maggie and the birth of Hershel. We would have had a rare chance to cry HAPPY tears!
(I know they also didn’t show Machonne give birth, but that played into the amazing surprise reveal of RJ.❤️)
I have a feeling that at some point Negan is going to end up sacrificing himself to save Herschel or Maggie.
I have a feeling that there might be a battle with the group the killed Maggie people and maggie might save Negan for whatever reason.
As he should ☝🏾
hershel
No god i hope not
I know... because that’s what it’s going to take!!
Really interesting how on the outside Elijah is a metal masked badass ninja, but on the inside he's just a young guy who has his own set of fears like everyone else.
They could possibly tell a good mental health story with him too. He clearly seems very attached to Maggie, and his mini breakdown in this episode and complete lack of dialogue makes me think that he has severe anxiety or something similar, and the mask is how he manages it?
Maggie had her shot to kill Negan but Negan was still locked up and miserable. She felt like leaving him was a better punishment. But It's different when she has to see him walk around freely like he's one of them.
I think she would have been fine if Negan was still locked up
@@youtubecommenter37 Yup.
@@youtubecommenter37 but then Maggie and her people wouldn't have had a group or any place to come back to, if Negan had never been set free. We're all just wondering what route they are gonna take with Negan. Is he getting the comic book treatment or are they gonna create something completely new!?? Because without Rick/Andy, I feel Negan/Jeffrey is very much needed on the show as a main character, in the final season!
@@csi2448 I have a feeling Negan is gonna end up saving hershel’s life and might die in the process
@@glowhoo9226 negan lives in the comics idiot
I started crying when I saw baby Hershal in the tree, WOW he looks just like his Daddy!!
Yes he dose
People seem to forget that the saviours attacked us first... On the road in 609. Maggie let Negan live in the cell because she thought he was worse than dead. Now she comes back and Negan is out of the cell, seemingly free.
I like Negan's character but he does not deserve Maggie's forgiveness.
That "Hey Maggie" was frustrating because he was just expecting it all to be okay.
Whenever I’m done watching the new episodes on Sunday nights, I go straight to UA-cam and watch these reactions😂. I get so excited it’s like a ritual for me.
That’s the same thing I do 🤣
I do the same shit lol

Exactly the same!!
Can't believe this season started October 2019. Covid screwed everything up.
Yes, it 100% did. But because of Covid we get 6 extra season 10 episodes and 8 extra season 11 episodes. Not saying Covid is good, but there are a couple blessings in disguise.
@@OT12343 Covid had nothing to do with it.. The extra 6 episodes is because they decided Season 11 will be the last so they needed the extra episodes to get us to that point.
@J M O Personally, I'd rather the show ends sooner, whilst it's in the Angela Kang era and has this level of quality, than it keeps going for another 5 years and just turns to shit
@@andersonhbk oh, I thought it did. Oops
@@bishbosh4815 exactly. Normally a season has 16 episodes, and now we’re getting 8 extra season 11, and 6 extra season 10. It adds up to 14 which means we’re only losing two episodes.
Great reaction... as always! I enjoy the discussions after 💚🤗💚
Same 😊
"Uhh he just tossed Daryl like he was a rag doll... excuse me..." hahaha Oh Steven! I am soooo happy that the walking dead is back!! Little Hershel made me tear up, wearing Glenns hat. he is such a cutie and him and Judith are gonna be such baddasses together.
I legit thought that dude said "Po po ba cho" I was like WTF These new people speaking in tongues!!
Ok this comment legit made me luled
Maggie and Negan seeing each other was like running into your ex after an awkward breakup
An interesting thing Maggie said was that Georgie went out to investigate a city out west and that she never saw her again. So that makes me think Georgie is still out there somewhere and that maybe she'll show up on Fear The Walking Dead.
I think she means the Commonwealth maybe? I don't know a lot about them from the comics cuz I haven't read that far yet, but I know they're a very very big group
That's what I thought too. That maybe jenny has them and crm has them. I feel like as soon as those people know you can do something, they want you.
Hershal doesn’t know it’s negan who killed his daddy so I’m looking forward to see how negan is with himm and oh the new bad guys wonder if negan stands a chance with them 😬
I have a theory that Hershel may be put in danger again somehow and Negan is the one to save him. That's the only way I could see Maggie being "okay" with him personally
@@TheClever69 I was thinking that too.. poor kid is just caught in the middle of this 😭 he should never know it was negan
@@steddy176 I've also seen a lot of people giving Maggie shit for still being angry at Negan but like, she has every right to be? It's not like she's gonna try and kill him. But she only left him alive because she saw how broken he was and felt that living like that was worse than death. But now, to see him free and walking around smiling and happy is a different thing entirely. I think their eventual "confrontation" will be a lot more civil than people think
hershel
@@TheClever69 them making Negan's episode the last one of the season is definitely a big deal. I wouldn't be surprised if that's where we get the "confrontation"
I was hoping Negan was going to show up to take down super soldier and say he found the rest of Maggie’s group but that would have been too easy. I have heard we are getting a Negan backstory episode which will shine some light on how he became the person he was but I’m getting the sense that Maggie and Negan will be trapped in a certain situation together and she will contemplate killing him however decides she needs him to get out of the situation to get back to her son and they will have a little bit of a heart to heart which will probably end with Maggie saying she understands Negan but can’t forgive him so he will decide to leave Alexandria either that or they come to an understanding that they can live together but the moment Negan steps out of line Maggie vows she will stop him.
I think Negan will take Rick’s comic death next season. I think Maggie will eventually come to terms with what happened. But I think once Hershel finds out that Negan is the “bad man” that killed his Dad he will take matters into his own hands and kill Negan like how Sebastian killed Rick in the comics.
Negan's backstory episode is also the very last episode of the season. So it's gonna be very interesting to see how they'll blend the flashbacks, with current time. And also how they'll end the season and get us ready for the final season
That Reaper was a tank, he sounded like Captain Price when he said, "Pope marked you", he should have had more screen time, and it reminds me of "All Ghillied Up" from Modern Warfare.
The only way I could see Negan redeeming himself in Maggie's eyes is that Herschel is is in some kind of danger and Negan saves him or sacrifices his life to save him.
EXACTLY! Negan sacrificing himself for what is best for the cause would be the only way I personally could see redemption for him.
Isn’t the actor for Elijah, Shawn from Cobra Kai? The guy who fought Robbie in Juvie?
That's what some one else said also.
Yes!! Pretty neat
yes, he was also in the movie Greenland for about 10 seconds as the looter with the shotgun that let them go
Yup its him pretty cool!!!
I had a mental image of the very last scene of this show. Hershel and Judith looking completely badass walking away holding hands as young adults.
It’s so good to be back with you both for TWD! Feels like forever. We’ll always share this pandemic and remember how we pulled each other through, hope you know you’ve helped give people a much welcomed distraction during this tough times!
Seeing Maggie again is amazing. I adore her. The way she spoke to Kelly, she still has that caring sisterly attitude towards those around her, as always.
Seeing Daryl and Maggie together, it’s just so special for us OG fans. Right back from the start where they met, when Maggie rode in like Zorro in the woods and whisked Lori off to be with with a wounded Carl.
Daryl must be so sick and tired of these bad guys that are so big they can throw him around like a rag doll 😂
I feel for Maggie. These people are her family, and it must be agonising hearing them defending keeping Negan alive, knowing who Glenn was to them all and Daryl was there when Negan killed him.
It must be so painful for her. I hope her and Carol can be ok, Carol sounded so hurt that their relationship may never be the same again.
And I think asking Maggie to forgive, is too big of an ask. I could never forgive, and much like you guys, Negan wouldn’t have lived much longer after killing my loved one. Whatever it took, he’d have been dead. And I’m certain all the viewers felt the same.
And also, Negan took out Alpha because that was the only way in hell he was leaving that cell alive. And we already saw when he had his little day trip to the empty Sanctuary how poorly he copes on his own. So if he wanted a group, food, and to survive, he had to help this group. So it wasn’t selfless at all on his part. If it was a selfless action, I’d probably feel very differently.
So glad to have your TWD reactions back. I may go back and binge watch some old ones, missed you guys A LOT!
I loved the scene with Maggie talking to Daryl, about how Maggie told Hershel Jr. about Negan. What I love about it is, the Negan at the line-up was a bad man in Maggie's eyes. However, as we watched Negan grow and redeem himself in the war, we saw less and less of that man. So in a sense, the man who killed Glenn in the line-up is dead.
I theorize that the episode with Negan's backstory is him telling Maggie his origins, telling his side, how he came to be the man who killed Glenn.
Fun Fact. The actor playing the Reaper who blew himself up, also played a Savior in Season 7. That Savior was never seen dying but its not the same character.
18:11 That’s Shawn from Cobra Kai
I forgot lol
I KNEW I recognized his face, I just couldn't put my finger on it. lol
I always look forward to TWD returning, not only to return to the world, but because I love watching the show alongside you guys! You always have such interesting and deep conversations, which brought me so much joy last year; so thank you so much! Can't wait to continue this journey with you guys!
Feels good to see this show weekly again
23:00 That's such a "Hey you dumb ass"moment.
I won't forgive Negan. Just like Maggie will never forgive him. You do not side with Negan against Maggie. Nope. He didn`t "just kill Glenn". He butchered Glenn. He beat him to death with that damn bat. No matter how much Negan has changed...
Perfect casting for little Hershel. Brought all the feels seeing him in the hat that very closely resembles the Season 1-2 hat.
Maggie has been back for just ONE episode and immediately brings the shows next villain 🤦🏻♂️
That's the apocalypse for you. A new enemy to face around every corner.

Is it just me or did amc have walking dead’s quality look a hell of a lot better when they filmed this episode because all the past seasons & episodes never ever looked nothing like this higher quality when it aired on amc
Great start to Season 10-C and great to see Maggie back in action again!! Awesome discussion on forgiveness or inability to forgive Negan for his past sins. And I got the biggest lump in my throat seeing little Hershel. It was like looking at Glenn sitting up in that tree. Great reaction guys!! 😁
Loved the reaction guys! My favourite reactions are back! 🥳
I’ve missed you guys and this show 😌 so happy to be back!
My understanding is that each of these episodes will be it’s own story about different groups so the Eugene commonwealth story will have an episode, we have a Negan backstory, Carol & daryl episode, a flashback for daryl right after they lost Rick, & an Aaron & Gabe episode. But I could be mistaken, not a clue the order of them though. I’m a fan of the shorter bracketed storytelling for these 6 extra episodes for sure though!
23:00 They really did the fans a service when they used Steven Yein's real son for the part of Hershel. It just makes us cherish Glen all the more.
Really omg 😱🥺🥲
His son was born in 2017 tho so I'd be surprised if it was
Maggie will never forgive Negan for what happened to Glenn. When it comes to Negan, it's like some folks think he can do no wrong, but he has done wrong that can never forgotten or forgiven. Even if a person like Negan can change, what they did can never change and should never be omitted like it never happened.
Some people are really big on redemption arcs.
We know that Negan is a "good guy" if that can be applied to anyone on this show. We got to see his character growth. Maggie however has been absent and her only memories of Negan involve him turning her husband's skull into one of the pizzas he used to deliver before the apocalypse and mocking the situation. Nothing short of him possibly saving her kid from walkers and maybe getting bit in the process will soften her on the guy.
@@darthroden It doesn't matter how much of a "good guy" he's become, that still doesn't change what he did to the communities and I guarantee you it isn't just Maggie who thinks this way. Like Negan said, no one will ever acknowledge him.
@@dwnkaomwn3953 Not true. Lydia does. Judith accepts him for who he is now.
Those who came after Rick have no such emotional baggage to go with him beyond what he did for them recently.
Truthfully, Glenn can burn. He's gone and the folks who are there are all that matter at this point. That is truth.
@@darthroden Well, that's just two out of tens of people. One of them is not very popular among the people herself(Lydia) and the other is a naive, hardheaded child(Judith) who's too idealistic for her own good. Of course, the ones who came after Rick wouldn't have such baggage because they don't know Negan like Rick and company do and that's not a good thing either. They ought to know the kind of person their dealing with and come up with their own conclusions. What matters is such atrocities should never happen again to folks like Glenn. That's the truth and Glenn can rest in peace, not burn.
People act like Glen and Abe were the only people in the world, no ones life is more important or special than anyone else's, you know how many people Rick's group killed in their sleep and let's not forget all the innocent women and children Daryl got killed when he drove the garbage truck through the Sanctuary, it's the apocalypse people die, it's crying over spilt milk at this point.
Maggie and Negan’s situation is so intriguing at this point.
They all had their reunion right after whisperers walked off the cliff in season 10 episode 16 remember? Maggie hugged Judith and Lydia asked Negan if he was staying, etc. They already had a reunion . That's why in this episode Maggie walked up to Daryl like 'hey'.
At 9:05 when Maggie sees Hilltop all burned out,the first thing I thought was that Glenn's buried there,so it is very sad that she lost the place where once she was leader and got to bound with many people (like Jesus),but what broke me was to know that she couldn't even visit Glenn's grave anore
Yeah, wasn’t really sorry that she left. Think she is going to make trouble (already did, bringing the reapers into the territory) even if Negan would not be there. Maggie , for me, is now someone expecting to be the leader and get her way and that would conflict with the Alexandria group that did not see her for about 6 years (?).
*This was a great reaction! I think a lot of TWD fans are forgetting that Glenn (along with Rick Grimes) killed Negan's people and thus Negan retaliated*
did you forget that the saviors harrassed sasha and abraham and daryl first
Dude its like when ppl face the person who murdered thier love ones. No one cares about their redemption cuz its not taking away the grief... Maggie is family. Og Family. They went through some shit together. The farm. The prison. Almost being ate alive.
Exactly ! People don't get that

OMG! How amazing would it be if Negan died saving Hershel?
It wouldn’t “make it right,” but it would be a really great end to his arc.

I'm with Maggie. Negan is a good character and yeah he has done stuff to consider himself redeemed but he tortured and killed a lot of people in the group. If they don't kill him then he should at least be casted out.
Side note: The guy in The mask is the guy that was the bully in jail with robby in Cobra Kai.
Now we have sides again. The Negan Side & The Maggie Side. Her Returning will bring out a lot of disputes between fans. Ill be happy if he’s exiled from the group but is given enough supplies for him to start again
He eventually is going to leave
@@maxvazquez7213 nah. He is def getting Ricks story kinda from comics from now on
Great reaction. I love your shirt Steve!
King Rick!!!
Elijah (the masked dude) is shawn (robby’s rival in juvie) in cobra kai
Soooo excited!!! I'm literally bursting!!!!
Fun fact: the guy in the mask is the same actor that plays the bully in the detention center in cobra kai
For me, i think the only thing Negan can do, is to accept that Maggie will never forgive him, and agree with that. So instead of asking for forgiveness or just apologising, he has to pledge his life to protecting Hershal, that no matter what, he will protect Hershal with his life.
I think that is the only way that Maggie could ever be in the same place as Negan, because she is not stupid, and she would know that Negan protecting Hershal, will increase the chances of Hershal surviving any threat that comes.
Doesn't mean that Negan will spend time with them, or try to be a part of their lives personally, but when the time comes, or arises, Negan will protect Hershal with his life.
+Nikki&StevenReact: Just wanted to say that the thing that Maggie says to Daryll about how Hershel's son, wanting to make sure that his grandfather's killer was dealt with, is a bit of foreshadowing with whatever question he has about his dad's death, and whether he wants satisfaction from that as well! Though Maggie said that she might deal with Negan herself, I wonder if Jr. might want to take him out?
I think the guy in the mask is a defector/runaway from the Reapers group… so he’s afraid of them. Hence the mask. Could be wrong though. 😁
Missed these reactions! 😁
19:30 you put a plastic bottle on it, it breaks but the first shots are silenced
I had two and a half heart attacks seeing walking dead on my notifications
I just got a feeling the Negan will be the one to tell Hershel what he did
This was such a dope Episode!!
The reapers will go in hand with the commonwealth who Gorgie worked with. I also believe he said Hope marked you.
Cant wait for the show for season 11
Clearly no one remembers when Maggie had Negan on his knees in season 9 and didn't kill him, it would make zero sense to kill him now
She also left the group right after & was only content because he was in prison & now he’s walking free
Lauren said on Talking Dead she left him thinking he would rot. Not get out on parole

It's been almost more then seven years since
He did a lot to repent himself
I believe he's got a second chance
@@LordGavial1138 I don't hate negan I thing he brings a lot to the table of the show but he bashed glenns brains in so hard his eyes popped out in front of her.. I don't think he's got a second chance but maybe the show will take a weird twist who knows

You're right
The best way would be Negan to sacrifice himself to save Hershel
That's would be in my own opinion, the best arc
Hey guys great reaction! I may be wrong but hasn't Negan be with the group longer then Maggie at this point. It's got to be close at least.
If you guys didn’t know the masked guy is the same actor that plays Shane in cobra Kai season 3 the one that beats up Robbie in juve
At least he didn't call her widow like he used to 😂😂
You must reconsider this past 8 years that Negan has changed, without him Alpha still alive.
They need to tell Maggie about Negan saving Judith in the snow storm.
So glad to see Maggie back...I've missed her and Lauren Cohan
That may not be the same Negan that killed Glenn and Abe but it's still Negan and no matter what he does or doesn't do that ain't ever gonna change
I'm out of work jobless, just don't feel that way in pandemic, know why?love your shows reactions, thats all..
I’m hoping they handle the Negan Maggie Hershel Judith dynamic well. There are tons of ways they can destroy it but praying they do well 🙏🏻!
I think it’s interesting because Rick killed Gracie’s father in cold blood too while he was protecting his daughter so keeping the mindset that Negan should be gone b/c of killing Glenn or wanting him away from them is similar to asking Rick to never be around Gracie.
Maggie doesn’t need to forgive him but as you said Steve, she had her chance & she let him live. So now he’s done so much to help them that it would feel like they are going back on everything they’ve build.
Plus, I think from their side I believe it’s worse to live with the weight of all the bad things he’s done than to just kill him & rid him of that life long burden.
