Got this for $99 the other day and I think it’s worth it. I like this strip, don’t use or have slate. Hope they add modules in the future. It could use a gate.
I have the slate all access but this is great for those who may want a slightly different but same concept rack system and instead of paying 15 bucks a month, they can just buy it and own all 70 modules. I have the IK multimedia T racks Max with all the vintage 38 classic rack gear. I also have the Sample tank 4 which have quite a bit of these 500 series module plugins in it already and Amplitude. I also own a bunch of nice free plugins as well as a lot of waves plugins. I like this concept in which IK multimedia has done with this mixbus because it makes affordable to obtain a lot of great plugins pretty cheap. Slate is great but the minute a person stops making payment, the plugins stop working. With this, A person can buy it out right and own it with no ilok or payment validation.
Great points but in my opinion I would take Slate plugins over the MixBox every-time. I have to play with these more but just like the T-Racks stuff, I am not that impressed
@@HomeRecordingMadeEasy Its kind of the same concept of how one likes a neve console vs a SSL vs a API vs a MCI vs a Helios and so forth, Not every one has the same taste but its the choice of options that gives everyone an advantage. I love my T racks plugins and get great results with them so its all about personal preference.
People seem to like this because their own plugin list is HUGE. Pages and pages and scrolling and scrolling to get to a plugin. This keeps it simple and they can't clutter it with a million other plugins. That's why I edit my own plugin list and keep it to an absolute minimum. I force myself to use 3 compressors, 2 EQs, 2 saturators....etc.
Now that you have this, please compare the IK 1073 to Arturia and UAD and Hardware! I have the IK and the Arturia and for some reason I’m always drawn to the IK version.
Hey Dave, I really have been diggin' the way you do things on your UA-cam channel here so once I get back to work I plan to purchase your classes and I can really use a hand with a mix I did last Summer for a female singer. She kept telling me the mix was no good then a guy she started working with in the UK said I must be tone death & I really took offense to that because I'm 57 & I first started in this recording business when I was just 14. However I'm always conscious about my work so having a professional 2nd opinion would be great. As I'm only working with a laptop & headphones. Holla @cha Boi -BiG Pluck

Thanks Paul
British Dynamics is the gate
@@institutorockaoantigo Yes, Thanks. I learned that after this comment. Not sure if this was added or if I never saw it but thank you.

Good points!
It's really weird to me that they chose to put the low frequencies at the top of the EQ?
All companies seem to do thses emulations a little different
How did u get the rack? Is it in amplitube?
No, its a new plugin on its own. check their website
