If you want to up your cheese sauce game, don't buy pre-shredded. Bagged cheese contains an Anti-Caking powder, its entire purpose is to prevent sticking/melting/moisture. Your sauce will always be slightly gritty. Do yourself and your sauce a favor, risk the annoyance and your knuckles, and buy block cheese and shred it yourself for your sauces. I promise you will thank me
