This is one of the gnarliest, most savage creations I've ever seen. And the small displacement, high revving, custom Hyabusa v8 is absolutely brilliant🙌
Crazy part is it could be better. I’ve seen people get 500hp out of a regular Hayabusa. A car with THIS motor in it would change up the entire game. I have no idea why on EARTH Suzuki hasn’t found the creators of these motors and bought them out. I want to see this motor in a mass produced car. It would be GTR worthy… Audi RS5 worthy… or better yet, give it to Hyundai and let them use it in a newer Genesis Coupe. There’s no reason the average consumer can’t get their hands on that motor.
Where does one find a motor like this? I plan on buying a Lotus Emira in the next couple years and absolutely modifying the fuck out of it for racing 💯

Absolutely amazing car and engineering. Personally I wouldn't have put the air intake on the roof because it compromises downforce both to the rear wing and creates lift as it's catching the air, that being said what an absolute fantastic piece of machinery.
I am an absolute feign for speed and cars this thing is so intense that I don't think I'd enjoy it. That is an absolute terror or a car. This is the next level of scary fast. I would love to just watch this one from outside.
Normal narrow roads. Not absolute flat. Not special made for roadrace. Some days before the local farmer ... And a lot of times the lorrys and lumber-trailer and ... and ... Cheap normal country road and no money to keep the road nice and top condition ... Not totally cleaned by a Race-Serviceteam (only looked around) . Only secured by some old tire tower (hold together with a string). If you leave the road and the crash hurts ...

What kind of transmission is this? I have never seen anything like this where the stick is moving but the driver's hand isn't manually shifting it. Weird.
Thats not a Lotus its an Opel Speedster with a spacer in the rear Subframe mount to extend its wheelbase and its fitted with the RPE V8 which is two Hayabusa Cylinder heads fitted to a common Alloy Block. Extending the wheelbase gives better stability while also allowing for the V8 to be mounted in-line with a sequential Gearbox at the rear.
It's a sequential manual transmission with what I assume is a pneumatic paddle shifting kit attached. The pneumatic system acts on the stick rather than directly on the transmission itself.
Been watching the development of these engines for years, they started when I still rode superbikes like the Busa regularly.. 10+ years ago. Now they are in a car on youtube, great :D Sounds awesome. I'm surprised the car isn't a little faster in acceleration, would have expected more 0.7G+ but this thing won't have much torque I guess, all HP xD
What a lovely mobile collection of exciting noises. Doesn't hang abaht does it? And the Hartley engine must be some kind of reliable, which is also amazing.

So that's how a "fused" Hayabusa engine sounds. 🔥
Isn't it basically the same as the engine in the Radical V8?
Or the Ariel Atom V8?
