I'm brand new to playing guitar, just bought my 1st guitar in fact. This will be the 1st song I learn... Then slaughterhouse 2nd as your covers of both are superb
Cynic- Finally someone got this right. Killer Tune, Killer Cover, great job as always. Ive been wondering how to play that killer riff for a while. Thanks for the video!!!
Hej Dany! Could you help me with choosing some multieffects. After few years of buying guitar equipment such as individual pedals, i have a little enough of spending lots of money to get correct sound of my favorite bands, since they also use of other special equipment such as amps, effects in rack or preamps. The Zoom g7.1ut is out of production and you cannot buy it new, of course there are used one on the second hand market, but i would like to be up to date and buy new from shop. What is your recomendations? Thanks for your efforts to be on-line with use - the listeners!
Hello, thanx for writing, well actually I'm not able to give you advice on new models of multieffects pedals , but I think that zoom or boss pedals are always great ones, just go to a music store and try all of them and pick the one you think sounds bettere, cheers
What strings are you partial to? I'm playin on a Schecter Demon 6, active pickups. I'm really wantin to run 13's but I only have the one guitar at the moment and will most likely have to change tunings a lot. I play everything from songs in standard to stuff like cannibal corpse and bloodbath so I'm really just lookin for range (in tuning) without having to constantly deal with intonation problems.
+Kenneth Hauck Dude. I have similar problem and same guitar. For now, I always stay in standard tuning because I'm still trying to learn theory stuff. I find impossible to simply tune down to B or drop A, with particular set of strings without re regulating whole guitar, which really hurts me cause I want to play some Bloodbath material.
The only way to play without intonation problems is to set up and intonate the guitar for whatever tuning you're playing in with your strings of choice. Even just downtuning a half step will knock your intonation all out of whack, so you'll at least need to mess with the saddles. Unfortunately for guys like us that want to play all sorts of music but only have one guitar, there really isn't a one gauge fits all tunings set. I'm partial to a set of 10-52s on a 25.5" scale for anything between Eb and C# Standard. For E standard, I'm wierd and use the 3 low strings from a 10-52 and the 3 high strings from a set of 9s so I get tight palm mutes and nice bends. For anything around the C or B Standard area, I like 12s or 13s with an extra beefy low string, like a 60. 7 or 8 string packs work for anything lower. Just don't use the highest string(s). Also, invest in some locking tuners and buy a shit ton of Ernie ball packs in all sorts of sizes for cheap as shit and experiment with making your own packs. If you couldn't tell, I found out I liked having super tight low strings and super loose high strings. People have their preferences, but as long as you adjust the truss rod and saddles to handle the change in tension to the way you like, you should be golden no matter what obscure gauges you like to use
Tried Chordify by chance? I can't rightly explain how it works. Put in the song title in the search box. Pick which version (it chooses from UA-cam) and it spits out what to play. I use it because I play bass. For songs I don't have the tabs. Check out Chordify in your down time.
It doesn't matter how many times I watch this or how much I slow it down, I just can not wrap my head around the cadence of this riff...and it's really frustrating. Great video, though.
@@Cactusbutt the main body up around the 12th fret. For some reason I can hear it perfectly in my head, but I can't translate it to my picking and fretting hands at the same time. Probably just need to keep working at it, honestly.
youtube, the land where stolen content, hatred, sexual harassment, can be shown just fine as long as its from a big youtuber whi makes them alot of money. but a guy making guitar videos gets his taken down..

Brilliant. This is better than I've seen them play live. Lazy fuckers too idle to play chords! Keep em in check!
Badass! I find it easier to watch your videos to learn instead of using songster

Could you make a tutorial of this song? I'm a beginner and your going too fast for me to see. Thanks.
