Hey @Danny have you ever heard of Korzus and Attomica from Brazil. As Sepultura they where the best of our Thrash metal from 90s. How I miss that chaotic speed, look for Korzus: Agony, and Attomica: Forbbiden Hate.
Soooo awesome Danny!! I've been looking to try a new bridge humbucker for a lefty BC Rich ASM recently but was thinkin about the D Sonic but your sound is awesome here. Do you think the Evolutions handle lower tunings nicely, like C or D?
Sincerely I don't think this pick up is good for thrash metal, too much high equalization..... so for death metal and lower tunings I think it would have a bad tone. "D sonic" looks great but I never heard it play, If you want a powerful passive pickup for lower tunings, I suggest you di marzio X2n or seymour duncan Invader...cheers!

I also love the X2n but have just been lookin to check something I havent tried yet. kinda lookin at d activators too. I think what I want to play most with my asm is vicious black metal in the vein of early Old Mans Child or Satyricon and they use E and are super trebly. I just realized too, that the crunch lab has more output than the D sonic so I might end up trying that. theres so many options.ha
