@@WhyWait Quick question, what size U bolts did you use for the suction cup portion of your smaller flag holder?
@@bryangjerding921 wish I knew. I use to have a picture saved of the package I bought. I’m not home to find out either. If you get the suction cup just measure the width of the holes it needs to go into. Might be a little trial and error, I think my first buy was too short.

That looks like a great & easy set up! Love how you took cover from the wind by sitting the one of the bays! The wind there did a good test on the flag pole for sure!

I had one three years and while in Colorado with there winds that come through without any warning broke our pole three times in one season. I want never own another one of those.
Glad we watched because we were considering one. After watching we realized that it will not work on the Momentum due to the collapsing side ladder as it lays flush on the side of camper when in transport. I would have had to send it back. Thanks!

Nice review. Personally, I'm not a fan of the light above the flag shining down on it. I'm thinking about mounting some sort of light on top of the camper shining up at the flag. What are your thoughts on that?

Hey Chris, Megan, and, Corbin! One would think the 16 foot flag pole would be more rigid causing it to not bend so much in the wind. But, what do ‘I’ know! Hope y’all had a great Christmas! No flagpole and no flags. Probably best for us though most likely we will end up losing it. We hear ya on the battling of the Texas Winds lol, dealing with that now.

Hi Chris, after a couple years of using the Flagpole Buddy, how has it held up? I am particularly interested in knowing how the mounts have held up to the elements. My concern is that they are plastic and would crack/break due to the elements. Right now I am using an extension pole and makeshift mount but want something better and more permanent.

Hey thanks for watching! I’ll say that the mounting brackets have been absolutely fine, no issues, no signs of wear. The pole itself has broken one time. We use it 24/7 though and bring it in when it’s sustained winds of 20-30. When it broke they sent a replacement piece for free. I think they now have a more robust fiberglass pole than mine too. Hope that helps 👍🏼
I got my husband a flag pole buddy for Christmas last year. Not too hard to put up. We fly the Stars and Stripes and Trump flags.

We've seen these in a lot of rv show exhibits. Been thinking of we need one or not.... Lou thinks when we hit the road, it'll be a good idea to locate the trailer when we're out boondocking. We haven't discussed what type of flag we'd put up but if it was up to me.... I think I'd go with an (1) American flag 🇱🇷 (2) Cuban flag 🇨🇺 & (3) a Rainbow flag 🏳️🌈.
Fly all three! We fly two but you can get three on there or opt for the 20ft pole then you definitely can! Always fun to fly your colors.

Sweet! What keeps it in the bottom mount? Does it just sit in there?
There is a thumb screw that goes in there and tightens against the pole. No issues and we’ve had serious wind.
Mine couldn't with stand the Colorado Winds and broke. I repaired it and it keep snapping in the Colorado winds.
Oh that’s a bummer. It’s crazy windy in Texas too. We full time and leave it up 24/7. It held up to 35-40mph constant winds straight for two days one time. I was super impressed. But then one day we had 50mph gust and forgot to take it down. A section broke and the company sent a new section for free 👍🏼Thanks for watching

I’m a huge history buff and love what the flag stands for as a sign of freedom and to never allow yourself to be controlled by a tyrannical government or autocracy government. People now a days misconstrued what this flag means and don’t understand it’s history. Too many people think it’s some kind of racist or gun toting ideology flag. Hope this helps you out.

Funny you ask because a section actually broke the other day. Winds were sustained at 25+ MPH for awhile and gusts over 35 MPH. We contacted the company and the next day the shipped out a new pole. Great customer service.

But luckily, I called the renter (owner of the toy hauler) *2021 Forest River Vengeance 29ks* and he said he'll throw in a hitch flag holder, but I'm not sure if it would hold that 22' flag pole. Any recommendations?
