Saludos a mis hermanos boricuas, que bueno verlos de nuevo un abrazo a los dos bien boricua y cuidese mucho ❤🇵🇷
I love y’all’s UA-cam channel and podcast. I’m trying to learn Spanish and really am enjoying y’all’s content. Y’all are great. Keep it up.
Hermoso video, y me empreciono, que la chava de blusa amarilla sabe bastante del mezcal y todo lo demas.
I love La Cosecha. I went there many times when I was in Oaxaca City for 2 1/2 months this last winter! 😃
I bought a small bottle of mezcal from that same vendor-- it was really good.
That’s awesome! We really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to go back again some day! Thanks for watching.
Ahh, mezcal! The liquid that almost killed me on my 26th birthday! Talk about a lesson I'll never forget.
Thank you Mai & Jaime. Nice video. I must go one day to visit Mexico. Take good care. I’m already thinking of buying a bottle of Mezcal pretty soon. 😉😘
Enjoyed the vlog!😊👍🏽
Really missed you all. Keep on doing videos❤️
Ustedes son lo máximo 😍 me encanta su canal
Hola que tal estoy muy contenta que les haya gustado mi mezcal un placer haberlos conocido 😊🥰 excelentes personas
I love this channel! This is great. I am missing Mexico big-time!!
Y'all make a lovely, wonderful couple, and being Vegans makes you two even more beautiful and sweet and kind!!! Much love from San Antonio, Texas!
Saludos chicos 👋
Love seeing videos of places I have visited - and I love love OAXACA
I walked around the area where this Mercado is at but I didn’t go there 🥺😩… wished I had known about the vegan options. I did find it challenging at some places we ate at but next time ☺️🥳
What a cool market! So glad we watched this while eating because that food looked delicious. We have to try huitlacoche one day. Hopefully we can grow our own!
That’d be awesome! I wonder how you could go about infecting the corn with the fungus… you guys definitely have to try it some day. It’s so good. 🤤
Jim necisita dice "salud" a May. My amiga makes sure I follow correct etiquette in Mexico. Sorry that I couldn't go on your tour. Since I live in Texas, I prefer to go to Mexico during July and August. Don't travel to PVR this week unless you want me to make a scene. (or Ajijic on the following weeks)
You're right, Brett! Usually we do say "salud." Sometimes having a camera pointed at you makes you forget such things. haha Thanks for watching! -Jim
Damn this looks good! 2 weeks til I’m in Oaxaca again! (mejor lugar en mundo!)
Great video, you two! I always learn a lot from your vlogs, and I like how you left some parts in Spanish. I tried huitlacoche in gorditas, in Bernal. I liked it; I thought it tasted like mushrooms. But, Jim, you're right, the online description of "corn smut" sounds really unpleasant!
¡Gracias, Adrian! Glad you liked it. Bernal is incredibly beautiful. Huitlacoche has definitely grown on me. I think the name and how it looks threw me off at first, but now I order it all the time when we’re in Mexico. ¡Un saludo! -Jim
Saludos ya no regresan a PR? 🇵🇷🇵🇷
You guys are awesome! Thank you for doing these videos! Really well done and much appreciated
Thanks for watching! More to come soon. -Jim
Love your videos as my hubby and I are learning Spanish and hope to live at least part time in a Spanish speaking country. I’ve been wondering: Were you both vegetarian or vegan when you met?
Thanks, Krista! That’s great. Which country do you have in mind?
We both went vegetarian together. I ate very little meat when we met, but then we decided to cut out meat altogether soon after we met in person.
Great video, Jim and May. Really enjoy your videos. You guys need "business Cards" with your channel info and directions to "subscribe" that you can give to some of the people you speak to. Everyone likes to see themselves on "tv" so you can grow your channel that way.
I loved this! It was great with the interview with the vendedora at the end! Gracias a los dos. :) Saludos de Australia ❤️
Is Mezcal and Tequila the same thing???
"Para todo mal, mezcal. Para todo bien, mezcal también" jajajaja.
Around the 12:25 mark, the señorita in the tienda where you guys bought the mezcal, i couldn't quite make out what she said about how to drink mezcal. Was it "te toma a besitos", which I would assume means you sip it. And a "jalón" would be all at once.
And I guess I'm a little out of touch, you guys are in Mexico now?
Terrific! Very informative. Oaxaca has been on my visit list for several years...I use blue corn but have rarely seen it in MX.
Blue corn tortillas are our favorite! You definitely have to visit when you get a chance. Thanks for watching! -Jim
Can’t do mezcal, on the 4th of July I drank a whole bottle. Thought it was like wine….
i work in a agave bar with tons of tequila and mezcals, and by the look of your face i knew what you gonna say about the second mezcal you tried
So what is your recommendation for a fine sipping mezcal?
I love it .
Thanks, Julio! Cheers! -Jim
Wow seems you two haven’t been around. What’s the market in 23 November?
We've been publishing an hour of content every week between our podcast (spanishandgo.com/podcast and membership for the past year, but we're dedicated to publishing more consistently on the channel here. We'll be releasing another video sharing the 20 de Noviembre market soon! Lots of cool stuff there. Thanks for watching! -Jim
Thank you good to see a new video
Me gusta mucho sus videos. Smokey!
¡Muchas gracias, Tomas! Smokey (ahumado) indeed! -Jim
When my wife "coughs" I tell her she has "covid".
😂
This place looks great. I would love to see more mezcal content. If you could get a tour of a distillery that would be interesting.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
