Hello," Spanish and go " I am mansi, from india, delhi. Thank you so much for your wonderful lessons. I just want to know that r u both native spanish speakers or english????
@@erikaInDR I understand you. Speaking and hearing aren’t easy tasks. I recommend you to look for Spanish speaking podcast with transcriptions or Spanish speaking series with Spanish subtitles, in that way you can understand what they are saying and train your listening. That worked for me in English (by this far) and Italian.
¡Te agradezco mucho por el ánimo! Acabo de empezar a aprender español este año y, en serio, es tan agradable cuando hablantes nativos dan ánimo a aquellos quién están trabajando para aprender su idioma. ¡Gracias!

Thank you so so much for these wonderful lessons!!! They’re super helpful for me as an AuDHD person currently (re)trying to learn Spanish!! most in person Spanish classes i’ve taken i’ve really struggled with the pacing so this free learning tool is incredible! Especially because I’m in part prioritizing learning Spanish as a means of being able to learn more about my Mexican and Spanish heritage (from written and oral histories without having to rely on translation), as well as being able to more effectively communicate with some of my family members and friends who prefer to speak Spanish (or simply want to speak in spanish with me). Thank you so so so much again for these resources!!! :)
Excellent! That's where you shine guys! Practical and clear content. We need more like this one. Ideas : banking - open account, ATM card doesn't work etc; Customs and Immigration; Post office; Taxi - useful conversation with taxi driver about local everything; Conversations with security guards, porters; Farmers markets, street vendors shopping - all these amazing vegetables, fruits and Mexican food!! Looking for and renting apartments. Public transportation. Paying bills, mobile phone plans, options, re-charging, SIM cards. Everyday life everything. We have to be ready to go on a trip to Mexico with you :)
That's great, Rob! So glad to hear you're almost through the promotion! Thanks for watching. We appreciate your support. Keep up the great work, and please let me know how the Lingoda promotion went once you finish. ¡Un saludo! -Jim
Hi Shane - are you asking if you can go from A2 to B2 in 90 days with Lingoda? If that’s the case, I believe you’ll need more 90 days to complete all of the classes in their syllabus. Each level has a different number of classes, but there were 75 classes in the C1 level for me, and another 75 for C2. I hope that helps! -Jim
I also hear 'quiere un retiro de/en efectivo?' at the checkout. Do you want to take out cash [cash advance], with your credit/debit card? This is a great video. I learned all these little phrases and exchanges the hard way!
Hola chicos!

Thanks for this video! I am taking Spanish at UNAM (well, on zoom) and learning a lot, but I always find myself not sure what to say in the grocery story. This is very helpful! Great video Jim and May. being sick off and on for a month has really gotten me rusty on phrases I knew very well before. But time to refresh and review. I thought I would also add Jim, that I visited Germany and Poland about almost two years ago and the shocking thing about going to the grocery store was that each cashier in every line was sitting down on a small chair. No one stood like in the US and Mexico. The money scren was situated at the level for the cashier. That was so strange to get used to seeing.
Una pregunta para May: I noticed that you pronounced words like "vender" and "voy" with a more pronounced "vee" sound than some other hispanohablantes nativos I've heard. I was under the impression that "v" had the same sound as "b" in Spanish. Is that just a general rule that is subject to regional differences or personal preference? Muchas gracias por tus consejos.
