The only one fighting for her is her dad. Mama doesn't appear to care. The other dude had no intention of fixing her car. Daddy forced his hand. Dude loves her soooooo much. He did her dirty.
All the defendant had to do was provide the information. The plaintiff asked for it a few times at the beginning of this situation and when he finally did get it, it was not legible. The defendant forced the plaintiff's hand. if I was the plaintiff, i'd be upset too
His hesitation to pay is understandable when dad was being petty trying to get stepdad/insurance to pay for all the damage when he knows good & well his daughter had previously caused serious damage to the car by baking into a fence post.
You are absolutely right. He forced the man's hand by not supplying the information needed to fix his daughter's car. I don't think he intended to pa to pay.
The fact that they ex-wife and step dad avoided fixing the car and giving the insurance information is crazy. The stepdad was responsible and should not have had to be brought to court to fix the daughters car...who he loves so much and is at every game.
You must have missed the part about the daughter backing the car into a fence post weeks prior. He obviously shouldn’t be held accountable for ALL of the damage. Why didn’t he care this much about the damage his daughter caused to the vehicle prior to this? He obviously only has an issue with the stepdad.
Right he is full of b.s. He did everything he could to avoid fixing that girl's car. Shady. Mama shady too. I am glad she has her father to protect her. He did her dirty. Behavior is everything. Love my........
She’s 16, she can drive a car to the body shop and drop it off. I’m not saying to get an estimate but she is growing up, her mom should have gone with her but this is part of it.
She’s still ok a kid. It’s better to have an adult w/ her in her late teens/ early 20’s that way she’ll have guidance and learn in case she’s in that situation again as an adult.
Being in the Tire Business for over 35 yrs, not sure the size of the tire, example:11X24.5 tire can total a car. His homeowners insurance should have payed out because he wasn’t behind the wheel when this occurred.
He clearly said it was already damaged by the daughter & he shouldn’t have to pay the entire bill. The dad admitted that his daughter said the car was already damaged also.
To all of you yapping about his hat and why he had it on. Its very likely that prior to the show he had told the producers he needs the hat on for medical or religious purposes so the judge already had it in her notes that he needs the hat on. So all she asked for was he adjust it so she can see his eyes. if you watch previous litigants with hats she DOES ask them to take off or she asks if the hat is for religious purposes
First, the defendant caused all this himself. Just file a insurance claim and be done. He never really explained why he didn't have the car fixed. He didn't want to file a claim because his rates would have been sky high after Second, I would never and most of you wouldn't either have your 16 year old accept delivery of a car that had been fixed by a body shop. There's a ton of stuff that could still be wrong. Third, the mom has to do better. Clearly they both care about the daughter so at some point they need to come together. If there was an issue between the men the mom should be the one to tamper down the hostility between them.
The plaintiff seems like a really awesome father and the daughter seems like a really awesome daughter. The defendant should be ashamed of himself thinking because he's been a stepfather all these years doing stepfather duties which is what he's supposed to do that he don't have to pay for the damage he caused and that's crazy!
I doubt it's the mom. If she was an instigator she wouldn't only communicate with the ex through text and neither man, esp the ex, said mentioned her having a part in anything
I see a lot of props about the stepdad. Stepdad or not her biological father appears to be very involved. Kudos to biological dad for remaining a part of his daughters life. When you marry someone, you marry their kids as well! Many children dont have one decent parent but she has three.
I think the defendant would have rectified the situation before coming to court if all the plaintiff wanted was the money for the repairs and not the rest
@Joyislove1221 the mam literally had a hard attack 2 weeks after this happened. Dad made it difficult and complicated everything. The car was drivable. The issue was what bio dad was trying to make him pay and the trouble he was stirring up.
Dear litigants, when the judge asked you a question, she’s not trying to be mean. She doesn’t know you or anything about you or your case. This is your opportunity to tell her. Drop the snotty attitude.
While the defendant stepped up to support his wife and her daughter the bio dad is also very present in his daughter’s life. If the mom would have responded and step dad would answer him all of that would’ve been resolved. What it is, is that y’all tried to discredit the bio dad and replaced him with SD and that’s a same. I must say though, Mom’s got a good taste in men.
The defendant is showing disrespect wearing the hat! Even in the military we must remove our headgear when entering a building. I’ve seen several reprimanded in court
This case was a mess, why not pay for the damages that you caused instead of making this drag out and ending up in court. I blame the defendant and the mother. She should have been advocating for her daughter’s car to get fixed.
This could have been settled amicably if the defendant would have owned what he did and pay for the repair. If she’s “your daughter” why put her in the middle because you nor the mom refused to communicate. Grow UP! You want the cookie you gave to take the crumbs too!
The absentee father needed to chill for a minute. Giving his 16 year old daughter a car she probably isn’t ready for. Then trying to run shyt from Florida. And where’s the prize wife?
The mom is trash, because how dare she not insert herself as the accountable go between and work with the ex, so the kid’s car can be taken care of. Telling the kid “let them handle it” is a hot ass mess!!! UGH!!! The stepdad still should have stepped up too and took care of it!!!
Because it was already badly damaged when she backed the car into a fence post. Dad didn’t make a big fuss about that, but wants stepdad to pay for a new car & airfare. He obviously was being very unreasonable.
Who takes tires off a truck at 4:30 a.m? He didn't say he getting ready to roll out, I think he did back into the car because a truck tire without the wheel isn't going to do that much damage.
The Plaintiff doesn’t like the Defendant. The car was just the catalyst to get something started. I also think the daughter didn’t tell her Father everything about what she did to the car. I believe the Defendant would have purchased another car for her if she hadn’t told her Father. You can tell the Defendant loves her. The Plaintiff is competing where he doesn’t compare.

@@DamnsaburnaNaw, he's a truck driver, they make a crap load of money, he could afford to pay, it was the amount that the plaintiff was asking for that was outrageous. The judgment was fair.
Ok mom, I see you....they're both handsome men!
We didn’t notice that it seems; TWO GUYS with similar EGOS.
I did notice
He's probably ball front
No way
I wonder what story the defendant told about that bald spot for Judge to allow that hat in court. He tryna hold on to them braids like he holding on to that insurance money.
Very lucky daughter .. it’s rare to have one fighting dad but two is amazing .. unfortunately they are at odds
The only one fighting for her is her dad. Mama doesn't appear to care. The other dude had no intention of fixing her car. Daddy forced his hand. Dude loves her soooooo much. He did her dirty.
I love the way he brushed Doug right on off before he could say another word
14:17 when the defendant pointed in agreement with the judge 👏🏾👏🏾
The plaintiff rolled his eyes when the judge asked the defendant what's his relationship with his step daughter 😂
Well they look like Big brother and Little Bro... 😂
All the defendant had to do was provide the information. The plaintiff asked for it a few times at the beginning of this situation and when he finally did get it, it was not legible. The defendant forced the plaintiff's hand. if I was the plaintiff, i'd be upset too
Also, the defendant is also being petty in the courtroom saying what he is saying and looking at the plaintiff
Both Dads ARE AWESOME
She is 16 and about to graduate. I think she is more than capable of taking the car to the body shop.
Please stop
Naw. Why would you send a teen to a bodyshop alone??🤔 that’s crazy
@@AtlChica883Exactly…. The mom is of no help for her daughter!🤷♀️
Happy Friday everyone ✨
Thank you
I think his only crime is marrying the plaintiffs ex wife...LOVE HIS HOLSTER
Being in the Tire Business for over 35 yrs, not sure the size of the tire, example:11X24.5 tire can total a car. His homeowners insurance should have payed out because he wasn’t behind the wheel when this occurred.
Sir, if you damaged your step daughter’s car. Why didn’t you fix it? *crickets*
That part.
He clearly said it was already damaged by the daughter & he shouldn’t have to pay the entire bill. The dad admitted that his daughter said the car was already damaged also.
Plaintiff: 😮😲😮
Defendant: 🤠
How rude to wear a cowboy hat down to your ankles in court. What happened to no hats or hoodies in court? SMH.
It makes good TV 📺 it’s allowed
Remember it's not real court. But I agree with you, he could at least take the hat off when he entered the room.
Judge JS would not have it 😂😂😂
The actor was obviously told to keep it on. As part of his 'Sexy Cowboy' persona. Otherwise, he would have been reprimanded.
😂 No decorum smh
Defendant is fiiiinnnnnnnn-nah!
The judges seem like they have a great relationship. and I love they have a close family, which is huge when you trying to navigate in this world
To all of you yapping about his hat and why he had it on.
He didn't want to file a claim because his rates would have been sky high after
Second, I would never and most of you wouldn't either have your 16 year old accept delivery of a car that had been fixed by a body shop. There's a ton of stuff that could still be wrong.
Third, the mom has to do better. Clearly they both care about the daughter so at some point they need to come together. If there was an issue between the men the mom should be the one to tamper down the hostility between them.
His insurance wouldn’t pay because it wasn’t a car accident. He swung a tire into her car. He explained that.
The girl is almost an adult, the mother doesn’t have to do anything.
@@fitnessfocused 16 is almost an adult? That you would trust to sign off on auto body repairs that were done? I bet you wouldn't
Why do they always claim another man's kid when they get with the mother
The plaintiff seems like a really awesome father and the daughter seems like a really awesome daughter. The defendant should be ashamed of himself thinking because he's been a stepfather all these years doing stepfather duties which is what he's supposed to do that he don't have to pay for the damage he caused and that's crazy!
The plaintiff face at 18:05. He really thought he was about to get a new car on somebody else's dime 😆
The real problem probably the mama lol and fix your stepdaughter car that you love so much. Its simple.
That part!
I doubt it's the mom. If she was an instigator she wouldn't only communicate with the ex through text and neither man, esp the ex, said mentioned her having a part in anything
I know what's under that cowboy hat. A big old bald spot that looks like a crop circle.
😂😂😂😂
Jesus 😂🤣😂
I guess it takes one to know one 😂😂😂😂
Damn!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@pauldexteryoung😂😂😂
Why did the stepfather have them go through all of this.
instead of taking care of the young lady's vehicle..somethings odd about him..🤔
That intro delay had me nervous . Married to 16 year old daughters … mother
Right 😆
Dad is definitely jealous of step dad 😅
It’s a reason why the ex only texts… mind you the cowboy hat has me Swooning… and he takes care of kids that are not his! Omg 😍🥰😍🥰
As he shld if you marry a woman with children. It's most definitely a mandatory requirement by the Wife/ Mother they're a package deal.
I see a lot of props about the stepdad. Stepdad or not her biological father appears to be very involved. Kudos to biological dad for remaining a part of his daughters life. When you marry someone, you marry their kids as well! Many children dont have one decent parent but she has three.
Dam the dad handsome 😊
The defendant was on some BS! How are you such a stepdad, yet wouldn’t rectify this? Insane
I think the defendant would have rectified the situation before coming to court if all the plaintiff wanted was the money for the repairs and not the rest
Exactly he’s full of it and so is that mother
@Joyislove1221 the mam literally had a hard attack 2 weeks after this happened. Dad made it difficult and complicated everything. The car was drivable. The issue was what bio dad was trying to make him pay and the trouble he was stirring up.
Why didn’t the step dad just get the car fixed? Geez
Happy Friday!
Where is the girls mother?
Exactly…. Good question!
If she can't even respond to the man's text, you think she would be up in court? 😂😂😂😂
Dear litigants, when the judge asked you a question, she’s not trying to be mean. She doesn’t know you or anything about you or your case. This is your opportunity to tell her. Drop the snotty attitude.
Who had a “snotty attitude?”
@@fitnessfocused Cowboy when Judge asked him if he is involved in his stepdaughter’s life
The side eye from the plaintiff at 5:53 😂😂😂
Yes 😂😂😂
I wonder where he buys the BEADS from 🤔🤣
You know it's either an African shop or bsw 😂
😂😂
While the defendant stepped up to support his wife and her daughter the bio dad is also very present in his daughter’s life. If the mom would have responded and step dad would answer him all of that would’ve been resolved.
What it is, is that y’all tried to discredit the bio dad and replaced him with SD and that’s a same.
I must say though, Mom’s got a good taste in men.
Petty thy name is plaintiff.
I watch from the UK 🇬🇧 and only tune in to watch Doug's shady comments at the end. He actually laughs or smiles whilst he's being shady 😂 Love him! 😍
True.
She's probably scared ole cowboy will leave her.
Guys always start stuttering when they’re exaggerating things.
BRO THE PLANTIFF SEEMED SO SHOOK @ THE VERDICT ; also I need the daughter there to speak because something is going on here
Her mom and stepdad are full of it. If you’re all that why didn’t you just pay for the car to get fixed?
Agree.
Take that hat off! Show some respect! I'm surprised JM even allowed it.
Judge judy would have told him to take that hat off. 😂
He looks good though
She doesn’t care, as long as their eyes are not covered. Would you have had a Muslim woman remove her head wrap?
He’s prob a cowboy
I mean she allowed it. She was here for it.
Why do everyone think the biological dad is jealous if he’s reaching out to the mother she should have said something when it comes to the kids communication is the key
Wouldn't fly wearing a hat in JJ courtroom.
