Got ergon grips and saddles on 3 of my bikes (mtbs and gravel), amazing brand, quality and comfort but I started feeling pain a few months ago (I ride everyday and 38 yo). I will try SQ Lab this week as like you said and after hours of searching, these two brands are the best to relieve pressures and stay sporty.
I'm 35 ;), and I'm also starting to take better care of myself. Used to, every saddle suited me. Now after testsing many different brands, including several Ergon models. I choose SQlab, but in case of grips, I prefer Ergon :D
@@COOLBIKEyt I went for the 610 active 2.1 as I already got a SMC Core (active) and quite like it for loooong bike packing trips. But my taint hurts so much I cannot ride often these days. Did you experience taint pain ? (I'm not English btw)
@@Jean-jk4zv I switched to the regular 610 version, and nothing hurts me. Maybe some bikefitting will help you? What do you think about 2.1 version, does it works better than 2.0 form the movie?
@@COOLBIKEyt I'm currently 83kg, I moved from the grey to black elastomer on my 610 M-D 2.1 saddle. I find they grey too soft when putting down power. Haven't noticed much difference on daily riding, though.
@@mechpade Interesting, it turns out that version 2.1 actually works better ;). I haven't had a chance to ride it yet, thanks for the info, and are you satisfied with your saddle?

Sq lab 612 on all my road bikes and 614 on my gravel/winter bike brilliant 😊 Pete
Hi, I haven't tested these models, because I don't have a road, or gravel bike. But thanks for the tip, and I'll try to test them in the future ;)
In the video, the saddle is not moving at all with the active elastomer.
This movement is small. In the newer version 2.1 they increased it's movement twice :)
there are 3 different elastomers so you can adjust to your pleasure
@@Jean-jk4zv I had grey one, up 80kg, and I'm 82kg. In my opinion they are a bit too stiff, so you can add 5-8kg to dedicated weight
