Loved it ❤️
Untranslatable adda!
Sayani cancelling her class is such a mood! xD
I swear to God, a good, hearty and extensive lunch like that cannot be followed by any sort of class okay. Adda ba ghum tai acceptable 😂
Hahahaha ekdum thik 😅😅
Absolutely.. 😂😂👍
After all amra to Bangali naki?
I had goosebumps when Sayani said Great Indian Kitchen.
I am from kerala. I don't remember how I came across bong eats. But I have viewed every video, tried recipes I can and always found them to be spot on.
I was in a very dark mental phase in my life when I came accross your channel, i used to lay awake in my bed and had sleepless nights. Someday i saw your channel, the background music was so soothing, i dozed off that night and slept so well in so long. And since then I started watching your videos at night to sleep. You might never imagine someone benifitting in this manner from your channel.
I don't know how, but you guys have helped me so much. Thanks a lot. Keep up the good work!
💛
@@BongEats Thanks for the reply💛❤️
You made my day🥺🥺🥺
@@judyjoseph4925 hey Judy...I am bengali but I stay in Kerala. Happy to connect with u if you want to have a bengali friend
Sathyam! Nikum same feeling. This channel is brilliant. The BGM is soulful...it pacifies you.
I am also a TCS'er!
This feels like a typical bangali potluck party, jekhane bondhu ra eksathe ranna o kore aar adda o mare! This is soooo cool and I already miss my friends back at home!
Then stop whining and go meet your friends, don't give me excuses!
@@meanperson8180 Who says I am whining? 🙄😑 If I could, I would.
Haha. I love the gentle chaos throughtout this video. Also OMG how cute is insiya- "It's 2 o'clock" *panics*
'Gentle chaos' is so well put. That's exactly what it was!
This is probably one of the most wholesome celebrations of bengali culture on UA-cam . Such an inclusive menu. This series is a great addition to your reportoire.
The shot where you guys just talk in the background with hardly any light while Saptarshi pours some coffee is so beautiful. Eto bhalo videography even during an adda session shows your craft. :)
Nice video
Ya true... Loved their videography always ♥️♥️
There you go another milestone.👏🏻 I remember the TCS days, Saptarshi always wanted to do something related to food. During this 10 years I have witnessed that idea become a reality. Truly inspirational Saptarshi and Insiya. Good wishes from a friend.
Thank you Rahul. Just remembered the long chats we used to have about all our ideas at the Siruseri office over filter coffee from Saravana Bhavan! Thanks so much. Let's catch up one day.
TCS connection?!!😱😱😱 Ore babare!
@@BongEats Oh wow you worked in Siruseri (SIPCOT I presume) ?? I went to a college very close by. Best crossover since Avengers ;)
Siruseri connection wow ❤️❤️❤️
@@BongEats i guess most of bengali IT ppl who are viewers are now rejoicing that they found a such deep connection with you and even i was posted in Infosys Chennai and used to go Saravana Bhavan such a small world and such an awesome connection so proud of u both ❤
Cooking and Bengali is the most romantic affair
Also also, it feels amazing to hear Sayoni speaking in Bengali.
My god I can't believe 😭❤️
Using Oyster shells as spoons. Seeing it after loooong time. My maternal grandmother had a few, but my parents are too posh for them - they prefer stainless steel.
I am a Maharashtrian from Mumbai and can understand Bengali because it is surprisingly similar to Marathi!
Same. I think the संस्कृत base helps
As a Bengali, I could also understand (not verbatim) my Maharashtrian neighbour from Pune. There are lots of similar words and phrases.
You guys have taken blogging to a whole new different level and each and every post outbeats the previous one. I still remember the post on postor bora... epitome of culinary research
U r right
Ya true 😊👍🏻
Very true 😊
Well i thought i wont understand bengali. But when i start watching i m started picking up. It is very similar to hindi. And man thanks for Indian Coffee House dishes. I love Indian Coffee House in Delhi and Jaipur. I hope i ll soon visit Kolkata.
So so wholesome! Jhinuk diye nun, holud, moshla tola, asking about the state of the country in a food show, Sayani Gupta feeling the maaya of bhaat ghum like we all do after having bhaat are my favorite parts. Hoping for more episodes. And forever rooting for Bong eats! ❤️
Superb show. I'm a big fan of Sayani Gupta. You guys should continue with episode
Very good
Right!! And it has given me a feeling like I'm in Kolkata now..Like how I get excited about "eta khabo otao khabo" while in Kolkata... Superb!! ♥️♥️
I just didn't want this to end ! So so wholesome. Sending lots of Love to you guys ♥️♥️
Woah , look who I've found here😍
Sayani is star but Loved the way she's behaving with everyone some time your personality speaks louder than anything else in the world. ❤️
This is the most random and genuine thing I've watched in a long time. I am not a Bengali but I've grown up with Bongs in mostly Bengali environment and this whole video I felt connected and relatable 😍😍😍 made my day
Is this a new series in the making?? Really appreciate the effort.
Being politically vocal is the best thing I like about Bong Eats, yes, more than your recipes, which I ardently follow!
I absolutely love that every Bengali content creator has identified and utilised the concept of "adda" in their videos. It's a crucial part of who we are feels good to see it across all types of Bengalis.
I am a Malayali who ardently watches Bong Eats. And the fact that Sayani suggested you watch a Malayalam movie called The Great Indian Kitchen.. I feel so proud for some reason.
Brilliant video as usual!
Lots of love from Kerala.
"রান্না করা কাজ রান্না করো, রাজনীতি নিয়ে কথা বলছো কেন!"
I died laughing 😂😂😂😂😂
😄🤣😄🤣🤣😍🤣😍🤣😍🤣😍
That khirkodom break is soooooo relatable! Barite mishti thaka manei holo leisure munching ba mid-work snacking ❤️
Please please please, keep this series just like this. Absolutely informal adda mood. And yes, do express your views on current affairs, you are responsible humans first and everything else later. That is what makes this programme genuinely unique. Lots of love and hug 🤗
I'm such a huge admirer of Sayani's work, personality and style. And to watch her at Bong Eats, cooking traditional Bengali recipes and speaking in Bangla just brought a huge smile to my face. Khoob shundor ei video ta. ❤️
Oh my god. It was absolutely fantastic. I have always wondered how Saptarshi and Insiya are at home, how they talk, how they cook, are they always picture perfect like their videos, or they have similar freaking out moments and stress out in the kitchen with small small things like we usually do - the one VLOG that you had put out where you made beans er dalna and machher jhol was close to my expectations but it still had voice overs, so I was missing the fun and gupshup during cooking. But this one made my day - you guys are my favourite. Such a cute Bong (bangal) couple, I would love to spend a day with you eating, talking and ofcourse cooking.
All the best for everything you wish to do, guys. Love love love! ❤️
I have been dying for this episode. Hope chef Ranveer Brar cooks with you guys too. I remember he mentioned bong eats and it's beauty in his chicken cutlet video.
True...it will be a unique episode
Eagerly waiting
Darun laglo dekhe rannaghore adda. Mone holo aamio tomader saathe royechi. It’s like a dream for me to stand in your kitchen beside you Insiya and Saptarshi da filming.
Please do a video on how you film your videos, the camera settings, etc. Will be very helpful for new creators. Love from Maryland. Thanks 🙏🏾
It was really fun to see the "ghoroya adda" type format ... Really enjoyed it. Eagerly waiting for more "rannaghore ke?".. 😋😃
I always want to have a whole day with my friends cooking and doing jomiye adda . You guys just made my day ! How beautiful !! Paat patar bora ta try kortei hochhe :)
8:28 Being a Bengali, I saw someone scooping turmeric powder with a muscle shell for the first time in a typical Bengali Kitchen 🤣
This actually feels like I am back in Calcutta and cooking with friends. This is really beautiful
Sayani seems "ei to amader ghorer meye"😌💞.... this adda with ranna and khawa dawa was literally awesome 💕
The reference of a malayalam movie (the great indian kitchen) is a different mood in itself.. love from a mallu and an ardent bangali food lover..
After a looooooooong wait I am so excited to SEE "the Annapurna" cooking.... I've always wondered why you guys don't show your faces.. I regularly follow your recipes for AUTHENTIC Bengali dishes, really your recipes are THE BEST 😘
STAY BLESSED!
KEEP POSTING!
BE HAPPY ❤️
Plz do watch "The great Indian kitchen" In Amazon Prime as suggested by Sayani!!
Oh my God!! This episode was so much fun.. But you took almost 3.5 months to upload after filming!! Two years back my Fridays used to be bong-eats Fridays and now I wait for your videos literally like "তীর্থের কাক"!!!
You are right. We didn't want to release this in the middle of the second wave when so many were struggling and we too had very little bandwidth to put this together.
This was so good guys, felt like my University days. I and my friends used to cook together and laze around the apartment. You guys must try pork with fermented bamboo shoot. A Manipuri friend taught me how to cook it and it tastes outstanding.
To the guys who literally helped me to rediscover the joy of cooking, this is awesome! So good to Sayani in her Bengali Avatar. ❤️
Wow nice comment
I don't know anything about bengali, but I watch bong eats videos as a ritual. Married to a gujrati, born in UP, schooling in MP, graduation in Haryana, spent 8 years in Delhi and NCR region, living in Maharashtra, favourite dish is onam special sadya.
Who am I? An Indian I would say
Trust me this is a Wowww series!!! Hope you will continue this for some time. However I wanted to know more about Jessie Yung... How to get the details of this cloud kitchen??
Thank you! She’s on Instagram.
আচ্ছা যিনি কি সেই সায়ানি গুপ্তা যিনি ঈদ মুবারক আর ক্রিসমাসে "Party Hard" বলে তে "Say No To Diwali", "Say No To Holi" বলেন?
Saw Sayani’s post on Instagram like 3 months ago. Have been waiting for the video since then. Gawwdd… what took you so long? 😮💨
du haat tule encourage kari.....love you guys.. kothay thako tomra.. life ta dekhe quite calm composed enviornment laglo
I just want to say please don't stop making such amazing videos ever. Sayani is like the girl next door. the format of the video was something that shines at another level. Sayani is just the girl je khunti dhuye jol dae. wow
I made the mistake of watching this before going to bed...now I am fighting the urge to rush to the kitchen 😅 sigh*
I am so proud of you guys, sniff* seriously.
I have been scrolling through the comments for the last 20mins, I am so happy that people are raving and complimenting you for what you are(I was low-key buffed up for damage control). You guys have worked hard and deserve all the praise and appreciation 😄
And damn I miss the prattle and adda and need that martini again. See you guys in Gtk soon! Love
Come back soon. Saptarshi will make you all the martinis you can drink ♥️
I had been waiting for your new episode like crazy. And this was just perfect!!!! You guys are so amazing. And Sayani on Bong Eats! Couldn't get better than this. This is a fulfilling Saturday. ❤️
Good morning happy independence day
"kaalo jeere begun diye ilish maach" beats every other ilish recipe hands down!
Aaaannd the beauty of the episode was its simplicity cause i guess nothing was scripted in that but the video goes smoothly and feels very homelike where nothing is logical and scripted❤
Please make rossogolla recipe there are many videos on UA-cam but i need from you guya..... WAITING
This the literal "Starting on a high note". The episode was super fun and homely.
Only complaint I have, in the first half it seemed sayoni was kinda invisible though she was on screen. In the later part of the video sayoni came to more prominence and focus which was missing from the beginning.
Also insia's personality was really a joy to watch. It was such a blast. Eagerly waiting for more videos from "rannaghore ke" series.
Hi i m a subscriber of ur channel. I would request for a receipe if possible then pls do post. The requested receipe is mouth watering typical "Phuchkawalar Aloo Dam".
Thanx
The conversation is so wholesome.❤
Best part of the video-
1. Gondoraaj lebu.
2. "The only person not distracted by kheer kodom". Legit!
She is just amazing , after watching article 15 ,akuni , 4 more shots am really become her fan . And she is such a cutest person 😊😊😊😊
Oh really 😄🤣😍🤣😍🤣😍🤣😍💚💞💚💞💞🖤💞💞🖤💞💞💜💞
Shan Prasher wants to know your location 😂
Awesome 👌...but missed your posto r bora...always a fan of Sayani..always a fan of Bong Eats!!!❤
Loved this on a quiet rainy afternoon at my apartment in Japan, enjoying my aloor dum (recipe from your channel) and mutton malai. This scratches my Ghosh and Company itch after eons (don't ask me how).
daijobu senpai?
@@chitrakchakraborty8563 daijobu daijobu :D. Shinpai shinakute iiyo.
Dude tbh I freaked out when u said she is in Calcutta to vote. I was like "there was a recent vote" but then bu clarified it to be shot in April
My favourite line: “চল, তাড়াতাড়ি রান্না করো!” 😂
Borita vajar por ektu jole vijiye rakhle norom hoye jabe... Maa k dekhechi eta sobsomoy kore... Try kore dekho jodi kaaje lage 😊
This was soo good..I literally felt like I was also there with you guys in the same room.. Love what you guys do..Pls continue this series
At some point 'bhaat' boshatay hobay...uff kotobar je ayi bhul ta hoyechay amader 🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely love this series. Have learnt so many tricks and details from watching your show. Thank u bong eats ❤️. Wishing u both a lot of success
Otirikto nyakami jeta Boudi sidha kore manage Kore diyeche.. Thanks to her
This vlog is soo real. Absolutely loved it. I have always seen if there's a celeb present in a cooking show, there would be so much extravaganza. Celeb wouldn't do much apart from tasting the food. But you guyd brought the beautiful sunday ambience of a bangali bari in this one. Amazing! ❤
চাঁদা-ফাঁদা, বাজেট-ফাজেট, জোগাড়- ফোগাড়, হাত- ফাত, কেটে-ফেটে! 😅 ❤️
Well done Saptarshi and Insiya!! And also Sayani ❤️❤️ So happy for you guys.
I enjoyed it way more than i thought i would!
Next episode ta kobe ashche?
This was just delightful!! How lovely to see that one of my favourite actresses, Sayani, is so down-to-earth and fun - totally charming!
সম্পূর্ণ বাংলা ভাষায় কথা বললে বেশি ভালো হতো যখন উনি বাঙালি।
Lmao the confused meme when calculating the postor bora price. Quality cinema 🤣 Jokes apart, this video was a joy to watch.
Hii,,, ami Garia thaki...1st video dekhlm...vison vlo laglo....
the simplicity is the key ingredient. kudos to bong eats :)
Loved this. Felt like I was there cooking and enjoying . Was it just misti tok with kachcha aam etc or was misti tok dal and if it was dal , what dal was used ....sona moong or masoor.
Love your videos ❤️
Aam er tok dal with mosur :)
The vibe of the video is so nice..feels like friends cooking together and having a fun adda..power to you ❤️
দারুন মজার একটা ভিডিও। ধন্যবাদ bong eats.
Beautiful episode ...and the sweetest part is that everybody, other than the guest, is looking so casual and simple. Waiting for more videos like this.
" ...রান্না ঘরে কে...??"
That "Khirkadom-Jalebi" resemblance was so on point 😀 Took me back to my childhood...
❤️
It's remind me the old days of mine when we all frnds r cooked and enjoy every one's company
"Bangali" 34 years chup chilo. R kichu baki nei!
Such a fun episode, makes me so nostalgic. You captured the essence of get togethers / potlucks with friends in India!!
I can’t understand why do you have to portray your personal choices on a public platform 🙏
Bengali Hindus never made Poker’ jhol…. Why such kind of modernism on traditional platters served ?!!
When did we say we were going to cook only Bengali Hindu food?
Btw, pork is not 'modern'.
absolutely love this new series
Sayani and her friend oindrila are from our complex, both are very zovial & sweet girl. It's a pleasure to watch them in this amazing show.
Talking about the cost of posto every time anyone cooks it is so relatable 😂😂
Hi sayani , i love your acting , tum Bong Eats may ho dekh kar bahut accha laga . mai Bong eats hamesha dekhte hoon. kaafi shaal Bengal may thee is liye bangali khana bahut pasand hai, abhi 20 years say Mumbai may hoon . sayani tumhari har film dekhti hoon. take care. kheer kadam dekh kar mooh may paani aa gaya ,
Sayani has a huge fan base in Bangladesh, at least among the people I know (who has good taste in films and acting). I loved her work at Detour with Vikrant. She was amazing!! Still today, whenever I listen to Heros, I remember her, a girl who dreamed of listening this to an empty road, with wind in her hair. This has become a part of my dream as well. Thanks for portraying this, Sayani. Keep up your good work, love.
The total journey with you all was fav.... I am basically a "mecho petni", so I was just feeing mouth watering, when you all was making pabda macher jhal with bori begun 😋😋. I wish I could have it from your hand as I love all your recipes so much. Love you. ❤️❤️❤️
i love saptarshi's accent. It's just shouts BANGALI in everyway possible. and today's episode was very interesting. for someone we knew as perfectionists, we saw today faltering with measures and proportions as us normal people... it was very wholesome experience. can't wait for the next one. and maybe you can prepare the script a bit in advance so that you can actually interview the guests and not the other way around :-D
This looks so authentic, the conversations are so typical of a Bengali potluck and Sayani Gupta and every else is being themselves. Delightful to watch
Akdom onnorokomer ..golpo adda ranna khaoa .. uff darun.. 👍👍👍👌👌👌❤❤❤
You guys are such a comfortable zone... Even for me...i saw ur vdo with mild smile..
If I had all that hair allover my eyes while cooking , I swear to god I would grabbed hubbys trimer and shaved my forhead. XD
Excellent cinematography omg ❤️❤️
Using clam shells as spoon is just so cool 😀👍🏻 Gonna use this idea some day. And ya love Shayani so much 🥰
Sayanir golaar awaaj sune mone hoi, o smoke kore. 😃
She looks exactly like Beverly from IT movie
I don't understand what you both are taking but enjoying our cooking and looking u both and your Bengali language sweet like rasgulla
ha ha, thank you. We do have English subtitles. Please click on the CC icon on the video player (top right) to turn it on.
Thank you Bong Eats and Sayani for giving us a glimpse of how we bengalis like to indulge in our "addaa", where we relax and do things at such an unhurried pace that we inevitably end up being late and cancel/postpone our other work/ appointments! And of course, peppered with conversations on every possible thing! Seeing something which is too familiar, something with which we grew up, especially during these lockdown and pandemic times, is to an extent very comforting. Just one request from an avid fan of yours: could you please give us a recipe of Taal er bora? Much love and best wishes! Stay safe :)
Lane e theko na, people and society need people like you.
