His name is Dino. And I really liked this spot a lot! He loves shoes and he loves what he does. Owner is cool too. I think he was so into his conversation he forgot to brush. But I will definitely go back.
This is the first person I've seen use plastic over there finger when applying shoe polish. I like this guy ..... he takes his time and really does a good job and also sings while working. For $6.00 that is one heck of a shine.

Well, I was really liking what he was doing....cleaning the old wax & polish off, removed the laces, etc. And then, when he was almost done, I realized that a brush had never been used. Yes, they came out looking great, but brushing during a service is an absolute must, IMO.
Now that is a proper show shine
End result was very good and it is always a great experience if they enjoy what they are doing and are interested enough to talk to you. Great video!

Great shine Chris! That bootblack knows his stuff and is interested in the shoes his customers wear it seems.! Looks like where I used to go back in the day, but the seats were in front of the windows and there was a step down. They could've remodeled in all the years since I was there last. 👍🏼
Found the plastic on his finger's interesting glad he popped the rag despite no brushing came out ok ! Have a pair of AE like these too

I liked this one, specifically cuz of how engaging he is and how much detail he paid to polishing and stripped the old polish. Yeah no brushing :( but still looked good, and also dig that the shop didn’t have crazy loud background music like some of the other spots. What do you think you’ll bring him next to shine? U got some boots coming through to shine next?
