ONLY NYC shoe shine spots. My goal is to visit EVERY SINGLE shoe shine spot in the city, then rate which ones I liked best. Even the hole in the wall spots. Let me know which one you would like for me to visit! I am open to suggestions:

In other words, ignore your teeth and they'll go away.
Possibly the best shine so far. Better than Olympic (which was getting a bit stale). He was so pro when he immediately and deftly removed those laces and this continued throughout. Real swell shine on those shoes too.
You couldn't ask for much better than this guy.

OK Chris! I remember passing that place from years back, don't recall if I got a shine there. Now that bootblack knows his business about shinning shoes! Top 3 definitely Chris! I checked on Google Earth Chris and the place I mentioned earlier to you is no longer there - latest pic shows vacant lot where the hole in the wall shoeshine place used to be along Nassau Street. Remember, I am going way back to pre 9-11 days in that area.
I walked up Nassau St and a lot of construction was going on. A lot of vacancies.

Started with laces coming off which was a good start, little cleaning, and then I thought I saw some polish on the socks? :( otherwise good polish.
What was the clear substance put on the toes at the end?

Just subscribed. Out of curiosity how do you video this? Are they aware?…. I would think a lot of these people would tell you to turn the camera off (perhaps not the ones that know you). Keep up the great videos 😉
