So I'm in the middle of this same install right now, and SO FAR, all I've needed to do was trim the lower bushings (extending the groove to the whole length}, fold the sheet metal by the hood latch, and remove the bracket on the AC lines (somewhat useless..since they are hard lines anyway...). After doing all of this, the radiator fits nicely, and the stock trans cooler lines fit well. I haven't gotten to putting the fan back on, but so far, it hasn't been too terrible. I was reading reviews and watched your video, so I also made some videos of my own I'll be uploading, hopefully helping anyone else who might be doing the same upgrade. Nice car by the way! I have an 87, 23k original miles... though...that's why I did this upgrade..the original radiator rotted out.
I just ordered the fitting, so it should be back on the road soon...These radiators are well known in the Buick Community so I decided to give it a shot
I've got that same setup from GN1 performance. Cold case dual fan kit. I didn't have any problem putting it in except for the rjc upper radiator chrome cover. I had to modify that.
That really slows the job . Good luck with getting everything you need. That's why I didn't go aftermarket with my TR. Had the original rebuilt with a larger core. What do you do with the oil cooler lines? The aftermarket rads have no fittings for them.
@@2muchBoost_ hey too much boost if I lived a little closer I would build you a little workbench for your garage a little bench will make things a lot easier for you Peace

You always have a positive attitude I would be cursing !
What it is, is what it is… that’s my motto
Oh no! Bummer about the fittings, but looking forward to seeing it all together! Thanks for giving us a shot. 👍

And someone has a start up the lawnmower, unreal in the beginning of March.
I heard that and just shook my head..lol
It’s never easy…ALL THE TIME for all of us, lol, I just ordered a gn1 radiator tonight, wish me luck
You shouldn’t have any problems … I’m just working around another after market radiator

I’m always running into some kind of problems on this car
Good luck on the fittings man. Surely you’ll come across some somewhere. Excited to see it run with the new Cold Case
a small set back
@@2muchBoost_ do you plan on going to GS Nationals at Beech Bend this year? I think my wife and I are gonna ride down
@@josephbyrd7836 yes, I will be there again
@@2muchBoost_ bringing the grand national? If so I’d love to check it out if that’s alright
Damn that comforter you had covering the engine brings back memories ! Lol
Yeah that’s ole school for sure
Good luck with it man
What fans are you using? I can't get the supplied cold case male connectors to fit the Casper adapter
Spal fans… I made a video of it… check it out
Make sure you use concentrated antifreeze mix with distilled water that’s important.

The oil cooler lines looks like they will work...
Take a deep breath you'll get there sometimes a little job turns in to big jobs peace
@@randyauer7303 yeah, my luck with this car sucks, so I just relax and figure it out

A lot of wires upfront
That is from the dual fan relays
