      Yip
      yet there is no reference to the great "reset" to central bank digital currency (CBCD) which is the REAL cause behind the elongated "plan"demic. It is a sad day that they maintain the lie and present it to others as the truth deceiving many and cause unprecedented harm to mankind...yet at the same time Scripture indicates those who have Elohym," are stronger than those who do not. We should be consoled and empowered by that.

    I was really impressed by the talk, especially by the following alerts of Prof. Harari.
    “I have a deep faith in the ability of democracy to reinvent itself. The advantage of democracy over dictatorship and all other systems is that democratic governments are more willing to acknowledge their own shortcomings and mistakes, or if nothing helps then they can just be replaced by another government.”
    “We have to be very clear about the nature of the threat we are facing, and we need first of all to acknowledge the weakness of human beings. The easiest people to manipulate are those who believe in complete free will. Realizing that we now live in a world where there are outside systems that can hack you is the first step towards building a more resilient democratic system.”

And for years from the first time you realized your own biology characteristics, do VP and given lectures after lectures about history... It works out in many layers...
    The question is: how long from the conversation to practices which help ones actual tasting the fruit of ones own inner realm?
    I saw many online courses in universites, and VP online course also has the channel, the opportunity to teach, to guide also. Its hard, cos the behave that we react for time to time, but its the chance.
    How about your solution in this field, cos as you said that 'couldn't write any books if you refused to sit your own breaths down and observe how it changes time to time...' and from that, you know your own system from body and mind better and better...

    Since we are at talking about Greece, let's take a look at how we faced the global pandemic and and its consequences. The Greek government managed to face the first wave successfully. General lockdown was placed fast enough, citizens complied to that decision , either on the own or under fear of heavy fines, ICU beds and hospitals were ready to admit COVID-19 patients. Testing wasn't that extensive , perhaps due to a lack of kits since the demand far exceeded the offered amount but we managed and after almost 2 months of lockdown we had virtually zero new patients with the virus. However , I don't think that we are that successful when it comes to the second wave of this pandemic. Even though we earned crucial time we didn't make good use of it. We haven't built enough new beds at hospitals and haven't hired enough new doctors and nurses to man them in order to face the coming winter, there wasn't enough testing to people visiting the country or it wasn't successfully targeted, citizens became more relaxed after all that time inside their homes and as a result new cases are on the rise without a clear sign of improvement. At the same time conspiracy theories and some not so transparent political decisions concerning the best way to face this pandemic result in less compliance with the measures taken. As far as the political situation, sure we aren't ruled by an authoritarian regime but during this time there seems to be a deafening silence by the opposition, mainstream media were financed by the government under the pretext of financial support during the pandemic and there are incidences of violent repression by the police to various demonstrations. At the same time the leading party seems to enjoy a comfortable advantage against the opposition, according to polls. Such a result is a logical conclusion but i think that more voices should be heard and it isn't always easy to find them across the internet. Finally concerning the economy , the global pandemic hurt us.We are a country that a couple years ago was under heavy european scrutiny and control concerning its failing economy and we were just starting to recover. We are mainly a tourist destination with some agriculture and very light industralisation. The pandemic caused the reduction or even prohibition of travelling and as a result the income of many citizens has been reduced and since their economic power is failing ,other businesses and services will fail and I think we will see large numbers of unemployed people in the coming months or years that will further financial depression. Our education system lacks the means to be completely digitised and usually it depends on the students' financial capability to support their education. I agree that we lack technical personnel but there doesn't seem to be in high demand yet. I don't think that retraining is a viable option due to the aging population and our universities and technical institutions don't have the means to support such massive programmes. It seems that the entire workforce is at the mercy of automation and digitisation and although a new job market will emerge ,as professor Harari said , there won't be enough trained workers to meet such a demand leading to more poverty and unemployment. This seems to be a global problem, not a regional one and there seems to be no plan for such an eventuality other than injecting more money in the market , money that usually ends to the same people. I wish we would develop other aspects of our economy , or even better evolve so that we aren't that dependent on tourism and create a more agile workforce. In conclusion I am not that optimistic for my country, I hope for the best but it seems that we must be prepared for a long time of financial depression and uncertainty. I wish the whole world the best, stay safe ,good luck and goodnight from Athens

      The whole world faces an uphill battle for at least five years, and only the countries with good leadership will arrive at the top in the first tranche. • @jayvdb
      @jayvdb 4 роки тому +1

      @@Elcherino123 1 year to be on top of the virus feels right, but economic recovery requires rebuilding trust, and that repair work will not be uniform, and there will be some 'rebuild better' which is disruptive. I expect many governments who handled Covid badly will be removed, so lots of churn, temporarily pausing international trust rebuilding. Many markets wont rebound fully until poorer countries are also rebounding, so exporters will feel pain longer. My guess is overseas trust in the greenback cant be rebuilt. They print money and give it mostly to their elite. Why do we subsidise this by holding their bonds in our reserves, and accepting the petrocurrency? Europe was already reducing its reliance on the greenback. Covid makes the greenback even more toxic, esp if they re-elect Trump. Five years for advanced economies to back to near-pre-covid levels feels about right. Hopefully sooner of course.

    Three characters I fail to understand. Politicians, entrepreneurs, religious leaders. They scare me. Yes, we are manipulated, our brains, our sentiments, taken to change beyond our own rhythms and natural understanding capacities. Competition. Winners and losers ? Who profits? Artistically sensitive cannot survive. Yet, cities invite all to visit Museums, Opera houses, Theatres: I travel to Athens because I learn sitting on the Acropolis and reading or watching Antique Classical Theatre. Today I could be condemned as a loser for not being able to understand how to use an I-phone. Power corrupts. Yuval doesn't allow power to corrupt, he an exception. He is a man above the crowd. And he is gentle. I listen to his voice. I hear no false note, his eloquence is normal and agreeable, his posture shows balance, Yuval is a character I trust. What happened to the sound technician ? • @paulamartinspm
      @paulamartinspm 4 роки тому +3

      I'm referring to what common humans consider free will. Fair enough! it’s probably nothing but an illusion... (Ultimately, it can be argued that everything is setted up since the BigBang)… Any way, we have the illusion of it... It is a long and very complicated discussion.
      One thing I think is a good starting point. For the first time in history, it is technically possible that one single entity or a relatively small number of persons can control (at a planetary scale) the means that control, at least some aspects of, our "traditional free will"... Or even worst than that, they control the means but don't even know what they are doing! Or even worst!!!! ... A new control of our free will, completely disadjusted to our evolutionary nature, appears like an emergent property of a very complex and new system... Nothing of that sound good to me…
      I know! I sound like a catastrophist... But when I think, that is basically what the future sounds like...

    I am sorry to say this, but I feel like the Greek president is talking about what and how he wants things to be where Yuval is talking about how things are and will be. Yuval's approach is more pragmatic and realistic, where the president's words sound more like how he hopes things to turn. If I was Greek, I wouldn't vote for this guy to be my president, but I really don't know anything about Greek politics and I hope I am wrong about this. This is trully ridiculous. Mitsotakis talking about how well they handled the pandemic in Greece. The decisions the greek governement made and continues making during the pandemic couldn't be worst for greek citizens. They were just lucky to lock down early during the first wave and thought they were doing enough (Greece is a rather small country and had few covid cases at the begining). Then going out making publicities and promo videos to invite tourists during the summer, bragging about how greece reacted to the crisis. And now people are dying of course because hospitals are full. Nurses and doctors are dying out of covid or exhaustion. People do not have the means to protect themselves from covid, are affraid to lose their underpaid jobs and go to work anyway spreading the virus. A rapid test costs 40 euros while most people gain less than 500 euros per month. At the same time Mitsotakis speaking on greek television saying in his discours that it is the fault of youngsters that go out and have fun! Since he was elected one and a half year ago police brutality has skyrocketed, intimidating people on the streets, beating them up and in some cases killing them (a month ago greek police beat up a 5year old). This is the definition of authoritarianism and totalitarianism. Church and state are also ruling Greece together, with the greek government consulting the christian priests before taking decisions. It is so frustrating watching him talk like he is a hero. He is actually a criminal.

      2) It is an insult and totally forbidden to talk to homosexuals in Erdogan's mind;
      3) Erdogan doesn't speak any other language than turkish, when he is abroad he needs a translator even to help him finding the toilets.

    Haven’t yet heard all the talks of Mr Yuval, but so far he has not yet brushed or referred to what the world refers to as the Origin of the pandemic and/ or to the role played or not played by the regulator of the world health. Was hopeful of his making some observations on that at least in this talks, when the topics hovered much around the global panemic now faced. Would surely be interesting to hear him on this.
    But for this Mr Yuval surely succeeds in giving a loud and clear wake up call against hacking of human brains & only governments in power have the authority to check the nuisance and danger for mankind. Hope mankind doesn’t reach a no-return stage and get stuck with it for good.

    Just start practicising Vipassana meditation (or any other meditation techniques or basically introspection of the self) as Prof. Yuval has been practising it for close to two decades or so. and let everything/ anything happen the way it wants. But as an individual, at least we need to make an attempt to start practicising any form of meditation/ self introspection! That's the best we inidividual beings could do, i suppose!

    Wow - amazing. So even though my creativity was used to produce all of this new technology, there is no win for me, but the losers will always be losers just because a country doesn't regard creativity or humanity as a primary value, but to push the 'country', not the people in it - forward as priority over all other people worldwide. How is that fair?
    If Greece has something more than others, it should share - for example by involving itself in education programs in minority communities in USA or South America. Because upper level of mass intelligence is the only thing that will benefit the world to get sustainability and a future. You always have to keep global warming effects in mind. Human resources are not less valuable than other resources. You can't just throw certain people away while focusing on yourself. Training or teaching more people in democratic standards, philosophy or skills that help them prevent themselves becoming victims of corruption or practices that break laws and can result in furthering an economic, and cultural, and environmental global crisis.
    The truth is everyone's problems are our personal problems in some way. The world is connected .

    Sorry for the comment in Greek language, dear all.
    Ο "άριστος" του Harvard, της αγορασμένης απο τον μπαμπά έδρας με τα λεφτά 3 γενιών Ελλήνων φορολογουμένων ξαναχτύπησε στο τέλος...επιτάφιος του Περικλή λέει και σε μια περίοδο που την Αθήνα μαστίζει η ... πανδημία (και όχι ο πόλεμος), για να βρει αναλογίες με τις επίκαιρες αερολογίες που εκστομίζει μαζί με τον ισορροπιστή μελλοντολόγο Harari.
    Μάλλον διαφεύγει (αφού δεν έκανε σχετική αναφορά) του ηγέτη, οτι ο επιτάφιος του Περικλή αποτελεί έργο του Θουκιδίδη και αναφέρεται, είτε ως ιστορική αναπαραγωγή είτε ως σκέψεις του ίδιου του ιστορικού, κυρίως στον πόλεμο και την αρετή της δημοκρατίας. Διαπραγματεύεται τον πολιτικό-φιλοσοφικό έπαινο του Περικλή προς την Αθηναϊκή Δημοκρατία στη δύσκολη περίοδο του Πελοποννησιακού πολέμου.
    Ένα απόσπασμα είναι ενδεικτικό της πλήρους αναντιστοιχίας των λόγων (στην κουβεντούλα που άνοιξε στο χαλαρό με τον Harari, αλλά για πολύ σοβαρά θέματα όπως η ανεργία, η επιβαλλόμενη και όχι η κατ' επιλογή φτώχεια, το γεγονός οτι πιθανώς οι μελλοντικοί άνθρωποι θα γίνουν obsolete για το σύστημα που υπηρετεί αυτός και οι ομόσταβλοί του ή δεν θα προλάβουν να δούν σύνταξη όσο ζούν για να δουλεύουν κλπ ακραιονεοφιλελεύθερα) και πράξεων του σημερινού πρωθυπουργού σε σχέση με τους λόγους και πράξεις του Θουκιδίδη που μιλάει μέσω του Περικλή.
    Δώσε βάση στα σοφά, διαχρονικά λόγια, άφρονα πρωθυπουργέ και άλλαξε πορεία όσο είναι ακόμα καιρός, τόσο εσύ όσο και οι όμοιοί σου:
    «…Αὐτά εἶναι, μαζὶ μὲ πολλὰ ἄλλα, ποὺ κάνουν θαυμαστὴ τὴν πόλη μας. Ἀγαποῦμε τὸ ὡραῖο, ἀλλά μένομε ἁπλοὶ καὶ φιλοσοφοῦμε χωρὶς νὰ εἴμαστε νωθροί. Τὸν πλοῦτο μας τὸν ἔχομε γιὰ νὰ τὸν χρησιμοποιοῦμε σὲ ἔργα καὶ ὄχι γιὰ νὰ τὸν καυχιόμαστε. Δὲν θεωροῦμε ντροπὴ τὴ φτώχεια. Ντροπὴ εἶναι νὰ μὴν τὴν ὰποφεύγη κανεὶς δουλεύοντας. Οἵ ἴδιοι, ἐμεῖς, φροντίζομε καὶ τὶς ἰδιωτικὲς μας ὑποθέσεις καὶ τὰ δημόσια πράγματα κ’ ὲνῶ ὁ καθένας μας φροντίζει τὶς δουλειές του, τοῦτο δὲν μᾶς ἐμποδίζει νὰ κατέχωμε καὶ τὰ πολιτικά.
    Μόνο ἐμεῖς θεωροῦμε πὼς εἶναι ὄχι μόνον ἀδιάφορος, ἀλλὰ καὶ ἄχρηστος ἐκεῖνος ποὺ δὲν ἐνδιαφέρεται στὰ πολιτικά.
    Ἐμεῖς οἱ ἴδιοι κρίνομε κι ἀποφασίζομε γιὰ τὰ ζητήματά μας καὶ θεωροῦμε πὼς ὁ λόγος δὲν βλάφτει τὸ ἔργο. Ἀντίθετα, πιστεύομε πὼς βλαβερὸ εἶναι τὸ νὰ ἀποφασίζη κανεὶς χωρὶς νὰ ἔχει φωτιστῆ. Διαφέρομε ἀπὸ τοὺς ἄλλους καὶ σὲ τοῦτο. Εἴμαστε τολμηροί, κι ὅμως ζυγίζομε καλὰ τὴν κάθε ἐπιχείρησή μας, ἐνῶ τοὺς ἄλλους ἡ ἄγνοια τοὺς κάνει θρασεῖς κ’ ἡ γνῶση ἀναποφάσιστους. Ἐκεῖνοι πρέπει νὰ κρίνωνται γενναιότεροι, ὅσοι ξέρουν καλὰ ποιὸ εἶναι τὸ εὐχάριστο καὶ ποιὸ τὸ φοβερὸ κι ὅμως δὲν προσπαθοῦν ν’ ἀποφύγουν τὸν κίνδυνο. Καὶ στὴν διάθεση μας ἀπέναντι στοὺς ξένους διαφέρομε ἀπ’ τοὺς πολλούς, γιατὶ ἀποκτοῦμε φίλους εὐεργετώντας τους καὶ ὄχι περιμένοντας ἀπ’ αὐτοὺς κάποιο καλό….»

    The Prime Minister’s comment on public sector remuneration is not quite correct. In Northern Europe, especially Britain and Ireland, public servants are extremely well remunerated, with high salaries, golden plated pensions and lifetime employment security. In fact such largess by the state to it’s own employees is coming under increased scrutiny and resentment. Post Covid, when these economies come under severe pressure, it may well lead to more than just resentment.
