I just got mine, the dial appears more yellow than this video, but still a beautifully designed watch and no QC issues. I changed to a Strapcode mesh strap that tapers from 20mm to 16mm, which really makes the watch wear well.
Thanks for this review. I am an avid watch collector and have always stuck to swiss made watches wherever possible. I understand your frustration .....but...the French are the French and this is part of the appeal about this watch.....I get your frustration but trust me when I purchased the Capt Willard remake from Seiko I shared the same QC frustrations, but for a watch that cost me close to 1300USD. I could put up with this more as its a much better price point and looks to me to be the ultimate 'beta' watch for the office ....I'm definitely pushing the button on one!.. Case shape looks amazing and the leather strap sets it off....Many thanks for a grand review!
Thanks very much and the qc happens, but the thing that did it for me was their awful customer services. Hopefully they've sorted that out since I made this.
Using the ST 19 movement is a very good idea, but that would change the sub - dial functions. Great review, cracking watch. Hope Yema sort things out for you!
I understand and I think it could be a good choice but I doubt they'll go for it. Hopefully, I hear back from them tomorrow. So hoping for a replacement or refund.
Miyota Quartz movement enables fine adjusting of the second, and chrono hands, but i'm not sure this is possible with the Seiko mechaquartz. You pull the crown out to the first or second position, and press one of the pushers, it works on the Miyota
If you don't know already, you can realign a seconds hand on a chronograph by pulling out the crown all the way and pressing the start pusher. Push the crown back in when you're done.
Their customer service sucks and it will take forever for them to ship your watch I had to cancel my order after waiting 2 weeks for watch to ship which it never did.
Another great review Wes 👏 Great looking watch. Check the book that came with it for if the position of the chronograph second hand can be reset. Shame the lume wasn’t better, but not too important for this style of watch! Once the chronograph second hand is sorted I think you’ll bond with this beauty!!
Thanks very much mate and I checked the book and it was useless. Tried the suggestions in the link you sent and that didn't work either. Hopefully Yema will sort it for me. Yeah the lume isn't amazing and I wouldn't be that bothered but it looked really good on their site, just doesn't live up to it.
Interesting...I've had to realign the second hand on my Dan Henry and it was really easy, but the minute hand in the chrono sub dial is also way off, any idea how to move that one?
Found the video!!! You did do a review.. have to watch this! Ok... just watched. A lot of these watches allow you to adjust and fine-tune the hands. You just need to pull out the crown by one, or the second hand, and then when you hit the top or bottom button, it will move forward one of the adjustable hands. Have you tried that?
Yep Lume is average and agreed the lugs do look long, stylish but long, the leather strap option was a good choice. I have a Geckota similar to this with same movement.

The chronograph seconds hand not resetting exactly to zero is an annoyance, but strictly speaking is not a QC issue.
