I know I'm too late for this comment to be seen, but I just want to say that the post-episode analyses are some of my favorite I've ever seen for this show. A lot of nails are hit right on the head, and you guys really seem invested in the show and appreciative of it. It's fun to watch :)
"A man gave me the right amount of attention, at the wrong time." I could cry because of that accurate assessment of Powder and Silco's dynamic! The amount of people that don't read the situation for what it is, is staggeringly vexing! The connections to the cages that both Violet and Powder are in, (one literal, one metaphorical) - I'm seriously about to cry! It's so rare that people make the same connections and assumptions as me!
Youre incredibly wrong. Their rlationship is indeed fakked up but not cuz he "gave her attention at the right time" and used her. Her codependancy, anxiety and ptsd made her grab on to the first person passing by. But the fact that he accepter her as because he empathizise, saw himself in her and felt her pain. It infinitely deeper than "of hes just manipulating her" anyone thinking that has completely missed the point of the entire show. Even th creators has confirmed that they made a point of making EVERYONE not 100% good or bad. That includes Silco, him caring for Jinxis real, his care for Jinx IS his good side, his human side.. Hes not caging her, thats absolutely asinine. He is doing his for her bnefit, even defending her every action against his own crew, almost getting himself assassinated by his own people. The problm is Silco too is a traumatized person. What "his best" is, is not good... he just think it is.

Silco orchestrated the whole situation that cost Powder her second family - there is nothing loving about the relationship. The small amount of care and attention he gives her is eclipsed by the fact that he's the cause of so much of her trauma. You've missed a few points of the show too, if you're unable to see what is blatantly obvious. Would you love the person that murdered your entire family? If the answer is yes please seek counseling, you need it! Also, watch the show again but pay attention this time.
Couple of quick things: It's typically said the timeskip is around 5-7 years. Did you notice that Viktor has gone from a cane to a full crutch? Jinx lives in a derelict vent fan - the sort of thing that helped improve the air quality in the undercity/mines/lanes area. Hence the huge vertical shaft. And the music playing during her scene there is "Get Jinxed", the music from her intro cinematic from League of Legends. Loving your reactions! Looking forward to next time!
Victor's cane was destroyed when he used it to block the doors to Heimer's lab while he and Jayce were proving Hextech works. The guards with Heimer broke it in half when they smashed in the door. You're probably right that his muscle condition has continued to advance during the time skip, but he wouldn't have his cane even if ep 4 was the next day.
@@jeffkoenig7402 while true about his original cane, he probably would still switch it to... another cane? Not a crutch, so the point kinda stands. He did switch from A cane to a crutch. He probably wouldn't were ep 4 the next day.
In my opinion Jayce and Viktor are too naive to believe that their inventions wouldn't be used for weapons instead of what their intended purpose is for.
Everyone always misses what I think is one of Jinx's funniest lines... Silco: Sevika will clean it up. Jinx: Sevika? That ogre couldn't clean a dust-bunny with a blowtorch! 😂
If I'm not mistaken, the music Riot produces is DMCA friendly. I would look into that, so that you won't have to distort or mute the music in this series, if I'm correct.

At the time in the ally Powder just grabbed on to the first person who came along due to her codependancy, separation anxiety and ptsd but the fact that Silco accepted her was because he saw himself in her. His caring for her is real and him genuinely accepting her, flaws and all, is both real and actually means alot to her. Its a really fakked up relationship due to both of their trauma, a fakked up person raising anoher fakked up person will never be a good thing but its not that black and white. There is so much more to it.
Marcus is almost worse than Silco! The "I'm doing good" no matter what shady connections or evil things I do type - always makes my skin crawl! Bro, you're a villain!
