- WARNING: Not all Halloween contacts/color contacts are FDA approved and safe for your eyes (Vision loss etc) so be super careful when using them. Also, Sclera Lenses are only safe to wear in eyes for few hours cause of the thickness and not being as breathable(My eyes feel quite dry today even though I only had it on for 30 mins). I purchased from this place because they seem to have made contacts for celebs and movies before. Oh, and they also contacted me this morning saying they accidentally put the numbers in and charged me so I guess it was a mistake.
I can't believe I paid $550 for a pair of contact and successfully put them on too. I think a lot of you guys thought this was a clickbait but no these are real contacts. I was so tempted to buy them when I came across a korean youtuber who reviewed them. It was so hard to find but thanks to some of my helpful viewers one listed below

Africa is dictatorship and kicked out a lot of farmers over skin color as well. Donate to charity. Stop trying to demoralize others. Please be careful with sclera lenses as the deprive your eye of oxygen and can lead to vascularization of the eye - where the vessels grow closer and closer to your pupil in an attempt to get more oxygen
Is it the same with transparent prescription soft lenses? I wear those for my vision
Aena Mustafa I think it depends on the kind of lens and how often it is worn. If worn in excess and if they deprive your eye of oxygen, yes. But I’ve had this experience with circle lenses after wearing for 14 hours daily since middle school - roughly 10 years. Now, I can’t wear any type of lens because my cornea is compromised and I have 10% of going blind.
@@djrockssss oh i just started wearing my lenses from march or april time this year but i use soft contact lenses which are clear transparent back in april i would usually wear glasses and wear contacts sometimes but now i wear them the whole day. But arent the soft contact lenses supposed to be worn daily for vision purposes? I read some article about the oxygen problem but the soft lenses i have can be worn upto a year and i have to change the solution everyday. I probably spend 8 to 9 hours not wearing them at night while sleeping . Is this alright? Btw i am 17
djrockssss explained it very well. I'll try to add things, but I am a german optician and it's hard to explain in english, but I'll try.
It depends on the lenses. There are different materials you can use and this depends on the composition of your tears. You shouldnt use silicone-hydrogel lenses if you have an oily composition for example.
The best thing to keep your eyes healthy actually are the "hard lenses". They are way smaller than the regular soft lenses and your tears can flow under these so there will be a way better air exchange. But they cost more than the soft lenses, but you usually use them a year long. Another "but": you have to get used to them. You can feel them move everytime you blink.
In the end, dont worry, als long as you change your lenses (like monthly when you have monthly lenses and daily for daily lenses), keep them clean and visit your optician there shouldnt be any problems.
I had a customer some years ago and she never took the lenses out. She wore them day and night, even when she went to bed. Her vision decreased rapidly (from ~90% down to 30%)! Her eyes tried to cry for help. You were able to see chunks of proteins on her lens while she wore them. But she didnt want to change a thing.
Please, dont to that. If you think you are doing something wrong or something does not feel right, visit your local optician. You only have one pair of your eyes! :)

not sure if these lenses were sized properly, given you had such a hard time putting them in. since halloween is coming up, please use your platform to caution your viewers from buying cosmetic contacts from just wherever. you can permanently damage your eyes by scratching your corneas, leading to corneal scars, corneal ulcers, and blindness.
sclera lenses are meant to be that big and cover basically the whole whites of the eye, it's for a more theatrical look or sfx makeup
she says in the description all about being careful about buying contacts....
lizzimuu these aren’t meant to be worn daily; they are theatrical lenses and are only sold for movie/show sets usually and worn for small increments of time. Definitely wouldn’t recommend to wear these unless you’re playing a role.

Videos like this make consumers believe they can take on the role of a professional regardless if it's for dress up. Not understanding how contact lenses should be treated or even properly evaluated leads to non-compliance, risk of infection from bacteria or Superficial Keratitis and also corneal abrasions. Scleral lenses are ment to cover the eye however i doubt that these were fitted correctly with the right molding and keratometer readings and follow up care! Promise is on a platform with lots of veiwers that are young or impressionable. Even with her wearing makeup trying to put those lenses on.. imagine the crap under that lens rubbing against the cornea every time she blinks. People don't think about the risks..I know she does a disclaimer but it was poorly executed.

Many places you buy them from online or Halloween stores don't do that. Not trying to attack promise, i love her videos, skill, and talent. Just i think it needs to be addressed is all.

Here's a tip! Dont shake it, because it will dry out faster and fall out. Grab the bottom and push it underneath your eyelid. Once it under put one finger on the top and let it fall in place.

You put all other money into IRA, savings, bonds, investments, and the like. Using those types of accounts also affords you more protection and access is often extremely hard).
