rom&nd has some amazing lip tints, i recently picked up the glasting water tint in vintage ocean and have been obsessed ever since!! but like u already said in the video they do have an obnoxious fruity smell (which i personally am not upset about but i can see why ppl would avoid that lol)
I used to love vintage ocean cuz the shade and the finish is just so so beautiful. But then I found out that it lasts really weird and patchy after a while :( the juicy lasting tints lasts better

I was looking for a dupe for Clinique black honey last year and stumbled on NARS Tanganyka which is a sheer type lipstick, has a very 90s vibe to it but definitely within the black honey colour range.
Clinique Black Honey was one of the first lip colors I ever bought as a teen back in the late ‘70’s - to think that it’s still so popular today. A true classic! Great job, Matilda…and viewers! ❤️
Love this series, for so many reasons! Deep berry shades are a deep love of mine, especially Black Honey. Thank you for continuing to help us all find our own perfect dark berry color way. A suggestion I wanted to throw out there for a Black Honey dupe that I use is RMS Lip2Cheek in llusive. First I swipe on lip balm and then lightly pat on the Lip2Cheek, so it has that same glossy effect. While the RMS has a touch more rose than purple undertones, on the lips it looks quite similar. Thanks again for an awesome video!
The limited holiday 2021 Ultralip shade Cranberry from Glossier is actually the closest match. I own black honey and glossier cranberry so I can speak for it!
I became to love Canmake stay-on balm rouge through your channel and I can say their number 16 is close to Black Honey color. i loved it since a few years ago when my peers all were raving about brighter pink shades I was all about dark colors which make my skin looks so much better and fresh.

My suggestion is Peripera Glasting lipgloss in 006 MADE IT. It looks a bit more purple in the bottle, but on my skin and my lips, it's very close to Black Honey. This shade is pretty popular from Peripera, because it was hard for me to get it since it was always out of stock😅
I commented on the first video before I realized there was a part 2. I had been waiting for Revlon's Rum Raisin. Glad to see it here. I wanted to mention Context nude balm in the color "Back for more", which looks like a berry brown on me. I received it in one of my recent Ipsy bags. The reviews were odd because many complained that it was bright pink on them. I don't see how, but on my light olive skin it swatches more berry brown, but not as brown as Black Honey. It looks like it could be in the BH family when I wear it on my lips, which are pretty pigmented. I think its sheerness makes it look different on everyone, just like BH. I am now obsessed with Black Honey!
I've never clicked on a video faster in my life! One of my favorite spectrum of tones to wear! Perfect for fall and winter, but honestly I love to wear this tone of colors year round! Will definitely be giving some of these products a try!
Also one lipstick I recommend trying that I might think you'd like is MAC's Dubonnet! A very lovely berry red shade perfect for winter and fall! Blotted it gives the perfect dark berry red stain!
I think that Gucci's Mildred Rosewood is a closer match thanks to its red meets plum meets brown tones, but I'm sooo happy to discover all of these amazing sheer lipstick options! Must get my hands on Telluride ASAP 😍
Oh my gosh. Black Honey was my first lipstick at 14 and my go to all through my teen years. And then I got to 18 and decided to move on. I'm now 38 and have about 10 of the lipsticks you use in this video, 3 of them in high rotation, weekly use. I guess I never moved on from black honey? Hahahaha!

Cachet is my fave tinted lipbalm of all time!!! I bought a second one for stock. Glad to know its similar to the famous Clinique Black Honey. If you have dark brown/purple lips I think Cachet works really well as a glossy natural dark berry tint.
I also want to suggest Catrice Melt & Shine Juicy Lip Balm in 100 Sunny Side Dip. Its pigment is VERY similar to Black Honey, despite Catrice is more moisturizing and more transparent. Honestly, I was shocked how close Catrice made this lip balm😊

Love both vids! As other commenters have mentioned I looove rom&nd tints however their shade range leans very red. Even shades that seem more muted and nude dry down to be more vibrant. I don't love the glasting tint formula, I found them to be not very flattering on me but the juicy tints are incredible, my faves have to be Almond Rose and Nucadamia (I'd give colour descriptions but I'm pretty bad at describing them lol)
Hey there! I know *exactly* what you mean by that dry down!!! I absolutely HATE it when lip products (particularly only seems to happen with tints for me) develop and change colours! It seems to be prevalent in Asian Beauty, and even some K-Beauty UA-camrs I've watched will take this into account, and show lip swatches of the product just applied, and after a while to show any 'colour development on the lips' 😵😫😩😣. Did you find that Almond Rose and Nucadamia changed colours at all for you? 🌻
@@justadjustor8993 I do find that all of the juicy tints I own change colour, some more than others. Nucadamia swatches a bit more teracotta brown on the hand but is a mid-toned rose on the lips (interestingly, Nucadamia dried down looks like the swatch of Almond Rose on the hand) Almond rose swatched looks like a mid toned pink but is actually a bit more "rich" on the lips, like the saturation is turned up. I think it also has to do with the pigmentation of your lips, mine are naturally quite pigmented but if I apply a bit of my base product on my lips I get the true swatch colour. I also find less product to dry down less strongly. I only do a full application if I want the tint to be stronger, sometimes I blot them down too. Sadly I can't attach images in comments but I would recommend you to check out reddit, particularly r/AsianBeauty, and search for rom&nd swatches because there are a lot of good images there that helped me narrow down my colour choices (the marketing pics are so inaccurate lmao)
I find it so funny how Black Honey has become the latest rage. I started wearing this shade when I was 19 ( now 67) and Clinique would include this shade with every gift with purchase along with their lipstick in Tenderheart. I worked at Bloomingdales on Lexington ave. for 3 years while going to school. Needless to say I would get so many Black Honey samples from coworkers at the beauty counter. Clinique for decades would always give the same two lipsticks in the gift with purchase and it came to the point that I now hate those 2 colors with a passion. I'm glad everyone else loves them and you'll get no competition from me so there's one more in circulation for someone to get. L.O.L.

hey Matilda :) Have you tried Lip Monster by Kate Tokyo? It was all over the Japanese internet last year! It’s supposed to be like a texture of lip balm and the color-pay off of a Korean lip tint but with a Japanese glossy/jelly like finish (just like Opera products popular in Japan). It was popular because it doesn’t wear off even when you wear masks.
If you happen to make part 3 of this, please try the Covergirl clean fresh tinted lip balm in Bliss You Berry and the gloss and glow glossy balm from Burt's bees (shade Wine Wednesday)! I found those online and they might be some potential dupes for black honey.

Rom&nd tints are my absolute favourites. These aren't dupes for black honey but I adore the shades almond rose and nucadamia! Easy mlbb shades and they don't dry out my lips even after drying down a touch.
Rom&nd lip tints are my favourite too! I really like the shade 23 Nudacamia and 22 Pomelo Skin of theirs. These are my personal perfect MLBB shade to wear everyday. Please give them a try and I would love to hear your opinions.

My suggestion is Peripera Glasting lipgloss in 006 MADE IT. It looks a bit more purple in the bottle, but on my skin and my lips, it's very close to Black Honey. This shade is pretty popular from Peripera, because it was hard for me to get it since it was always out of stock😅

I commented on the first video before I realized there was a part 2. I had been waiting for Revlon's Rum Raisin. Glad to see it here. I wanted to mention Context nude balm in the color "Back for more", which looks like a berry brown on me. I received it in one of my recent Ipsy bags. The reviews were odd because many complained that it was bright pink on them. I don't see how, but on my light olive skin it swatches more berry brown, but not as brown as Black Honey. It looks like it could be in the BH family when I wear it on my lips, which are pretty pigmented. I think its sheerness makes it look different on everyone, just like BH. I am now obsessed with Black Honey!
I've never clicked on a video faster in my life! One of my favorite spectrum of tones to wear! Perfect for fall and winter, but honestly I love to wear this tone of colors year round! Will definitely be giving some of these products a try!
Also one lipstick I recommend trying that I might think you'd like is MAC's Dubonnet! A very lovely berry red shade perfect for winter and fall! Blotted it gives the perfect dark berry red stain!

Oh my gosh. Black Honey was my first lipstick at 14 and my go to all through my teen years. And then I got to 18 and decided to move on. I'm now 38 and have about 10 of the lipsticks you use in this video, 3 of them in high rotation, weekly use. I guess I never moved on from black honey? Hahahaha!

Cachet is my fave tinted lipbalm of all time!!! I bought a second one for stock. Glad to know its similar to the famous Clinique Black Honey. If you have dark brown/purple lips I think Cachet works really well as a glossy natural dark berry tint.

I also want to suggest Catrice Melt & Shine Juicy Lip Balm in 100 Sunny Side Dip. Its pigment is VERY similar to Black Honey, despite Catrice is more moisturizing and more transparent. Honestly, I was shocked how close Catrice made this lip balm😊
Also, would love a vid specifically for cruelty-free dupes for black honey.

Love both vids! As other commenters have mentioned I looove rom&nd tints however their shade range leans very red. Even shades that seem more muted and nude dry down to be more vibrant. I don't love the glasting tint formula, I found them to be not very flattering on me but the juicy tints are incredible, my faves have to be Almond Rose and Nucadamia (I'd give colour descriptions but I'm pretty bad at describing them lol)

Hey there! I know *exactly* what you mean by that dry down!!! I absolutely HATE it when lip products (particularly only seems to happen with tints for me) develop and change colours! It seems to be prevalent in Asian Beauty, and even some K-Beauty UA-camrs I've watched will take this into account, and show lip swatches of the product just applied, and after a while to show any 'colour development on the lips' 😵😫😩😣.
Did you find that Almond Rose and Nucadamia changed colours at all for you? 🌻
@@justadjustor8993 I do find that all of the juicy tints I own change colour, some more than others.
Nucadamia swatches a bit more teracotta brown on the hand but is a mid-toned rose on the lips (interestingly, Nucadamia dried down looks like the swatch of Almond Rose on the hand)
Almond rose swatched looks like a mid toned pink but is actually a bit more "rich" on the lips, like the saturation is turned up.
I think it also has to do with the pigmentation of your lips, mine are naturally quite pigmented but if I apply a bit of my base product on my lips I get the true swatch colour. I also find less product to dry down less strongly. I only do a full application if I want the tint to be stronger, sometimes I blot them down too.
Sadly I can't attach images in comments but I would recommend you to check out reddit, particularly r/AsianBeauty, and search for rom&nd swatches because there are a lot of good images there that helped me narrow down my colour choices (the marketing pics are so inaccurate lmao)
You should try the undone bronzer stick as a lip shade!!!

I find it so funny how Black Honey has become the latest rage. I started wearing this shade when I was 19 ( now 67) and Clinique would include this shade with every gift with purchase along with their lipstick in Tenderheart. I worked at Bloomingdales on Lexington ave. for 3 years while going to school. Needless to say I would get so many Black Honey samples from coworkers at the beauty counter. Clinique for decades would always give the same two lipsticks in the gift with purchase and it came to the point that I now hate those 2 colors with a passion. I'm glad everyone else loves them and you'll get no competition from me so there's one more in circulation for someone to get. L.O.L.

I think the dior addict lip glow has a dupe color on my lips in plum . My lips have a berry undertone and the effect is very bit by cold lips

hey Matilda :) Have you tried Lip Monster by Kate Tokyo? It was all over the Japanese internet last year! It’s supposed to be like a texture of lip balm and the color-pay off of a Korean lip tint but with a Japanese glossy/jelly like finish (just like Opera products popular in Japan). It was popular because it doesn’t wear off even when you wear masks.

Rom&nd tints are my absolute favourites. These aren't dupes for black honey but I adore the shades almond rose and nucadamia! Easy mlbb shades and they don't dry out my lips even after drying down a touch.
