Friend, can you ask me a question? I have a vw polo with this engine, and the following happens, the rotations at idle are unstable, it accelerates by itself up to 1,200rpm, and while driving it takes a long time to lower the rpm... obd. Is it the RPM or Map sensor? Thank you 🤗
Boa noite acho que e o sensor das rotacoes
I have the same problem.
Have you fine the solution?
Hi, I have same model like this one, a vw polo 9n3 2006. Please do you know if this car has a fuel press regulator and where is it located because I have being looking for it but it’s no where to be found. Thank you 🙏
Probably inside fuel tank, in fuel pump assembly
Is the same as the 1.6 fsi ?
Looks like engine mount is buzzing it’s getting chain done 😅
On how many kilometers you've changed the chain?
136K
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I thought the chains are supposed to last the lifetime of the car? Whereas belts need changing. Every 5 years?
Yes, in theory they would last the life of the car, but the truth is that in reality they stretch over time, ending up loose, making noise and being in danger of breaking. In the case of this engine, I changed it because there is a known problem with the guides, and not knowing if they had already been changed, I preferred to change it.
They do with regular services and proper maintenance and let’s face it these days nobody has any knowledge of how maintenance plays a major part in how long your car lasts people just don’t care until it’s breaks
@@lnhomeprojects2109 I have this same car manufactured in 2006 but only has done 75k miles in getting paranoid now? Do you think I may need to chain replacing? I change the oil and filters every 12 months/6k miles
You said no special tools but you made a special tool for the crankshaft...
verdade, mas é uma "ferramenta" caseira simples para segurar o virabrequim enquanto o desaparafusamos. Pode ser segurado de outras maneiras também
If no special tools required, I guess that doesn’t include the one you had to make!!!!!
the tools I'm referring to, are the ones in the thumbnail of the video, special VAG tools to lock the upper engine
No special tools my ass!! what happend to using mackines in tricky places
