This inspired me to start a Korean jazz/funk band named Seoul Patch and I'm not even Korean. Thanks, 90's-era-Spin-Doctors-lookin' Greg Koch.

I just want to know who the 28 people were that gave us a thumbs down? Super entertaining, very funny- always enjoyed watching him play on videos never saw him do anything like this. Natural and relaxed in front of the camera and obviously possessing a great sense of humor/comedic timing. All right that’s enough, his heads going to be so swollen he won’t be able to find berets big enough!

I love his sarcastic sense of humor. At any rate, what he shared was excellent. I would commend him for that.

Chitlins con Carne is the piece by Kenny Burrell to check out, really bluesy. I think Stevie Vaughan did a cover of it.

I am graced to have seen Kenny twice at Yoshis in Oakland and the last time in about 2008 at end he asked for suggestions...so I said Chitlens!! but not very loud...compared to other folks. Lots of other requests competing with mine and I thought oh well but......
Mr Burrell did CHITLINS! stated off like a different song and morphed into Chitlins Con Carne. Stevie ray did a great version and he was a big Kenny Burrell fan as I am.
Greg looks like Sam Kinesins brother? Sam is hella crazy too and I bet a Greg idol.

A minor pentatonic over A major. Is it legit? To my ears it sounds fine but people like Bukovac are always saying it’s sacrilege. Theory is a minefield. I’ve come to the conclusion I’m just really thick so will have to trust my ear.

If you want to sound jazzy buy a trumpet or a saxophone. Thanks for using a telecaster and not rolling off the tone to the point of maddening elevator boredom. Nice licks.
