Bob Arum found the fountain of youth. The dude is still working at 92 years old and sharp as a tack. Think of other older people around you, how old they are and what they're doing. It's nuts what this guy is doing. They always said, continuing to work keeps you alive. It gives you purpose to wake up each day. The difference is Bob loves what he does. It's not only his work, it's his passion. I hope he can reach triple digits and beyond.

Arum is a legend in the sport. But man do I hate some of his fugazi talk. There’s no way in hell he didn’t have a role to play in the judges favoring Haney over Loma. Whether it’s based on business decisions or boxing politics, he has a say in the referee, judges, and even commentators/analysts. Crawford should be shoe shining Arums shoes every chance he gets, Arum built Crawfords career, which is why Crawford resigned even after Arum threw him under the bus.

With that being said IDC! I watch boxing every weekend if there’s a card and buy every PPV. Anyone and I mean ANYONE who tried to argue that Loma doesn’t have one of the absolute best skill sets in boxing are pathetic race baiters like yourself that do not know the sport.
I’m far from a Loma fan. I like more explosive fighters hence my favorite 3 guys being Tank, Bud and Teo BUT I can appreciate and understand that Lomas footwork and shoulder feints are absolutely top tier in the sport and are beautiful to watch.
Loma just lacks speed, power and athleticism. If Teo had Lomas skill set no one is fucking with my guy period but he doesn’t, he has other things that make him a good fighter. Teo beat Loma because he’s FAR FAR more explosive and bigger and stronger.

He beat Haney, Ortiz won 4 rounds, and there’s not even an argument for Salido beating him. The only person he legitimately lost to was Teo, who had 20 pounds on him. If your favorite western hypejob was fighting elite fighters with 20 pounds on them they’d be losing by early stoppage every fight
