  • This video started as a test to answer a couple questions from a couple viewers. Thank you for the questions, I was happy to test this out and get you a solid answer. I hope anyone that watches this can learn a few things from it. That's always my goal.
In this video we investigate whether or not EZ drummer will follow a time signature change and tempo change recorded in a guitar track for bandmate. The simple answer is no but you can manipulate anything in song creator within EZ drummer 3. In this video I show you how you can do some of those things and answer the questions. I hope you enjoy the video.

Summary: Bandmate has one tempo and one time signature. Changing time signature in Song Editor: 9:44. Changing tempo: 11:39.

Haha. Good point. Thanks for summarizing. I was quite disappointed with the ability or lack there of to create music in odd time signatures and adjust the tempo. They have some work cut out for the next iteration of band mate. Unless they patch it in. Thanks for checking out the video and for leaving a comment!

When I started learning to play guitar there was no internet. All this mandatory computer shit has made me obsolete and it fucking pisses me off.

I assure you, you are not obsolete. When I learned there was no internet either. I started getting into the digital amps more recently. I still enjoy my tube JSX amp as well. I also still have my Yamaha 4 track cassette recorder. I know people who still play and record on analog equipment only. Don’t let the digital stuff get to you. I play because it makes me happy, I got into videos because I wanted another creative outlet. Just do what you do because it makes you happy, if you are able to share it with other people I’m sure it will make someone else happy too! Thank you for the comment.
