The two clips you found are to help support roof sheathing edges where they don't meet at a rafter and to help maintain space for expansion. I've detected my yard before building a house on it. It was a plot that was farmed, so I found tractor parts, bolts, lead seed bag seals. In the front by the road I found an old toy cap gun and a bunch of expired dog tags from the 70s all strung together. The oldest thing I found was a button from the 1850s that I was able to date by the company name on the back. They only used that particular name for about 5 years between 1850 and 1854 before changing.
love your helpers! I have two myself one is five pounds and one is six pounds as you probably have guessed Chihuahuas. The are in the backyard as we speak chasing squirrels. Enjoyed your video, keep them coming!
Doggies be like "yep it's right there" and ''i move if you give treat..'' Your vid reminded of a time i decided to detect in an off leash dog park..I got the attention of almost every dog in the park and all were very curious to see what i was finding..lol Good advice and Great vid! Cheers!🙂👍🤟
👍👍🫵🪨 Congratulations on finding those nickels. I did metal detect my backyard when I lived in Florida and I found two buffalo nickels in my backyard. The only thing I wish you would’ve cleaned those nickels off so we could’ve seen what they were in the years. But once again, congratulations Sincerely Chuck.
I actually found a silver ring in my front yard!!!

Back in the late '90s I was detecting my front yard with a White's XLT Spectrum, I had a quarter signal and it turnd out to be a glass marble. I rechecked my hole and no more signal. To this day I still have now idea how that happened.
got my metal detector both wrecked and thrown away when i was on a vacation trip to treat my psoriasis.. they stepped on it and it got fubar.. had a fellow metal friend of mine test it.. it detected metal everywhere.. in the air.. but it didnt actually detect metal anymore.. my family is fun.. still got my pinpointer though. and i want to have em replace the detector..
Yeah sure, you didn’t let He-Detector join in this time because he finds all the goodies. HA HA Those metal clips are used in between your roofing sheeting to prevent sags in your roof. Your grass looks great compared to ours. We’ve been in almost drought conditions for about 2 months.
Loved this episode! The dogs help was amazing!!!😅

The rare He-Detector and Dog-Detector dual cameos! The “tent stakes” are actually the staples contractors use to hold sod in place until it roots.

Found a 1946 quarter in my yard the first time detecting it.
All I’ve ever found in my yard was discarded construction debris
I scored 3 sliver rings yesterday. I didn’t set up for low tones. I’m heading back after this hurricane
