Any tips on how I might UPdate my '13 F-150 PLATINUM ( CHROME ), NON-telescoping, POWER folding, power adjusting, heated/tinted mirror glass w/PUDDLE lights & side turn signal LEDs? I see some chrome mirror caps may be available separately for some mirror ass'ys. THANKS!
I have a 2014 F150 with stock mirrors. All I have is turn signals and motor mirrors. Non heated. I cannot find anyone to be able tell me if I buy the aftermarket mirrors if they will use the same plug or if I will have to rewire them. Do you have any idea if these will work for me?
From my understanding they have 2 harnesses. And 8 pin and a 22 pin. You should have the 8 pin. Any extra items the mirrors come with that your truck didn’t come stock with may not work.
Mine did depends on model you have that can be upgraded when 1st person bought at dealership but chose not to get those options mine was 2009 ford f-150 XLT

Do you know if the mirrors auto-dim like the OEM mirrors?
Dude, you didn’t use the silicone washers for the rear brake light. It can leak through the screw holes.
Not only that… the housing has holes for the plugs to latch into still to keep both the plugs, and housing water tight.
What was the spray cleaner you used to clean up the stuff behind the old third brake light? Is that like a "Goo-Gone?"
It’s mothers spray wax. I have some myself and recognized the bottle 👍
All 12th gens come with all the wiring for puddle lights
What wires do you tap into if your mirrors don’t have the puddle lights?

Is the amber light on while running for the mirrors?
It’s just for turning or when you lock or unlock the truck
If I have factory 8 pin and install the 8 pin to 22 pin harness, will the puddle lamps work?
