Well done on the last lap. A text book strategical overtake, then you held the Porsche till the line. It was quick for a 356. Thanks again for posting .
Thanks for watching the video! I'm glad you enjoyed it
Best in car video account of a sprint race Ive watched. (Fellow sm mouth tr3er)!
Thanks! It was really intense at the time!
Hi Steve. Thank you so much for that! Looks like you had cameras everywhere. Great job editing. That was really fun. Hope we get to do it again one day.
Thanks, your car made me feel like I was being pursued by an angry ghost!
Nice! Interesting that the 356 is RHD.
THANKS... for the memories!! I raced a Lotus 61 FF with HSR-West for a decade. I got your last lap at 1:43+/-. I used to turn mid 29's in the Lotus. Time for you to move up to open wheel racing! (Just ask Todd Strong, Bob Hatle, etal). Enter turn 9 further to the outside, get the car rotating a little sooner, and stay away from the apex to avoid the bump. Can't say about a TR, but in the Lotus I was flat from turn 1 to the brake point for turn 3. Work on your defensive line a little... i.e., that Porsche that got you in the top of turn4.
Excellent !!
Couple of squirrely drivers out there.
My memories of you Dad were right along with my enjoyment of your excellent video! Thanks!
Thanks for riding along!
Nice run Steve! An outside pass in turn 2 is always so satisfying.
Especially when a big beautiful Jaguar is providing a block
Yes, it takes a while too!
Love it! Can you do a video showing what you've done to the car to turn it into that beast??
Sure, that's a great idea!
@@stevesgarageshow sweet! Not sure if I mentioned in another comment but bc of a bad situation I have my father-in-law 's 59' TR3. Needs a little bit of work first b4 any racing mods (he was doing a purist resto), but eventually I'd love to be able to run around the track here at Road Atlanta with some other restomod dudes. 🍻 Dude!
