Small Off Grid Log Cabin, Pregnant Moose

Another day at the log cabin with a porkchop dinner plus homemade muffins in the Coleman Camp Oven. Had a pregnant cow moose visit with trail cam video showing her around the cabin. I set a few rabbit snares in the woods near the log cabin and finally, enjoyed a snowmobile ride to a friends cabin where we enjoyed having the local grey jays eat snacks right from our hands.

Such a great day!! Being out enjoying the time, making some great food, and knowing it is all done to your liking! Pretty great times if you ask me! Even the jays know a good thing when they see it!! lol

Another great video, hopefully that cow has a couple of healthy young one the spring. Loves that oven , those pork chops with the cream of mushroom soup looked delicious haven't had them like that before but my wife advise me we are having them soon lol. Gotta love the grey Jay's they are always up for a bit of food.

Thanks Gary, yes you should try the mushroom soup, we’ve been doing that for years, you can mix a little white wine in the soup makes it even better, would make a great video

Great video and good lighting in the cabin now. An awesome feed you had there buddy you won't go hungry that's for sure........LOL. I'm thinking you and I may have crossed paths back when I lived in DL 2007-2013. I was active in the SAR group there and played lots of rec hockey. I put over 10k of KM's on my VK PRO in two winters snowmobiling all over the area there. I lived along the river in Nicholsville. Those grey jays have ate pounds of bread from peoples hands I'm sure....

Thanks, I grew up in Corner Brook and we moved back here three years ago after retiring, wife owns a restaurant in Deer Lake so we may or may not have crossed paths unless you were a passenger on the airplanes I flew in n my career. I had a vk pro for years and loved it for logging but way too heavy, they needed another foot added to the track, thanks for sharing bud

@@blacksprucecountry1315 You are right, I was gone before you got there. I did do some flying from there in 2012-2013. The VK darted awful bad and I tried every trick to help it to no avail. I put up with it until I sold it and bought a Bearcat then wished I had bought it first.....
