Fish, a friend, a fire and a feast! Top shelf right there!
Top it off with a cup of bush tea, and thats heaven right there. Heaven man! 👍🏻
Thankyou
Great Saturday afternoon video for a Ottawa Valley lad to watch. Thanks for taking the time to share with us!
With all the bears around your camp I am hoping that the bear proofing you have is enough to keep them out of your camp.
Yes me too
Nice video, Bob, Your cabin is coming along very nicely. It is such a wonderful piece of land.
You do make me hungry when watching your videos.
Next time you make that dessert with the berries mix cream cheese and honey in a plastic bag with the berries and cut the Conor of the bag off and pipe it in. Your dark chocolate and cream cheese would be delicious too.. 😊 🥟
Kk thanks
Your place is great. Fishing, wildlife and peace and quiet. What more could you want. Great video.
Thanks
Another nice video.
Love how you always keep busy, you work a little, you fish, keep the cabin tidy and there’s always dessert 😉😉😉

Greetings from North Carolina
Thanks
Job to beat a rain day at the camp! Great video 🎣
Thanks
what a great one!!
Thanks
I always enjoy your videos, great stuff. Awesome footage of the moose and bear with your trailcams and drone too, icing on the cake for a great trip. There's nothing better than cooking up a few trout that you just caught yourself, it's one of life's great simple joys.
Thanks
Love the video
Thanks
I e teased you once or twice before, and you weren’t sure if I was making fun or being friendly. I was totally being friendly. It’s so nice to see another old fart like me out there, and doing stuff is old farts dream of.
Sure I enjoy watching these young guys paddling to the arctic or whatever, but I really appreciate seeing something more "age appropriate" sometimes.
You’re loving the dream with that cabin. I’m both jealous and glad for you.
Lol thanks
This one's got me craving sandwich spread. I haven't had it in years. My grandmother used to make me mock chicken sandwiches with it 😂
Nice
Very envious of you living in such a unspoilt beautiful place Bob. Also admire your industriousness and taking time out to explore your surroundings and taking us with you. Greetings from Brittany, France.
Thanks
Great videos. My mom loves your channel. She’s 94 grew up in Newfoundland, and says trout are great, but she’d rather have the fried baloney. Can’t get it where we live.
Nice thanks
Thanks for the video your haven your best life I live in western Maine and love going back into small ponds for those trout I can taste them now
That's awesome
Another good video... A better, stronger, easier, quicker knot than the clinch knot is the Palomar Knot... I started using it over the clinch knot more than 20 years ago, haven't tied a clinch knot since. (I fish almost every day so that's a lot of knots) lol Great for tying in the cold ice fishing and it's a dream come true after our eyes get a bit older lol. Take care
Thanks
Place is looking incredible. Good job!
Thanks
Another great video i always enjoy the good feeds you have, plus beautiful views.
Thanks

I, Brad and your sister Marilyn thoroughly enjoy your many videos, and I believe also your singing voice(LOL). The simple things in life you demonstrate with passion give us a peaceful respite from the daily hustle and bustle. Fantastic scenery as well as action shots with narrative are captivating and leave us waiting for the next episode, excellent work Mr. Newfoundland Outsider.

Awesome video like I’ve said before your property is heaven on earth
You got that right!
Thanks, what an awesome filmed video and content. I was subscribed to your channel last year but left, and now I resubscribed as I really love the content and want more Canadian content You Tubers and shy away from American content, though I will always keep two Alaska channels that I dearly hold close to my heart. Cheers from Timmins Ontario!
Thanks
Thanks for the tip
Excellent footage, A joy to watch. Great job.
Thanks
your cottage is looking good great job
Thanks
Cabin looks great there buddy. Quite the feed too. Love the game camera footage. Take care.

Great trip, such a nice location
Thanks
You must be part beaver clan the way you chew up that wood! Enjoyed the show a lot. Sometimes it is ok just to watch the rain.
Lol yes
Don't know what happened to my first comment... It just disappeared...
I was saying that I often do the Bannock on the stick. And I have learned to heat the stick up really really hot before I wrap it in Bannock. Try a hot dog or sausage in there! Good eating!
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks I'll try that
Awesome video thanks for sharing !
Thanks for watching!
Great video as always you sure have a nice spot there.

Beautiful & peaceful country!! Thank You so much ❤ I've never had trout yet....I do want to.

Hi we would do the same kinda thing camping. End of a broom handle, pilsbury dough over the fire then fill it with butter and Jam. Others would put a piece of chocolate and some whipped cream from a can.😋
Nice thanks

Nice
Yeah buddy 4 nice ones

Loved this video, thanks for sharing
Thanks
thanks for ur service soldier
Your welcome sir
wow great trail cam video ...cheers
Thanks
Great video and beautiful country. Very peaceful. May I suggest since you seem to be right handed, to hold the bottom of your axe with your left hand like you would a golf club, hockey club, baseball bat etc...The right hand above is instinctively and naturally better at avoiding torque.
Thanks
Beautiful spot
Thanks
good on you sir you are in a very beautiful place.
Thank you kindly
Glad it worked for you
Thanks
My dad and I really enjoy your channel, there was some singing on the video, was that you, great voice

Trying putting mustard and then fine ground cornmeal and you don't have to thank me
Great videos
I don't know
If you make you cuts on the side of you fish they won’t curl up at all I have found. Give that try and see how it works for you. Awesome video
Thanks
good idea with the black bear deterent they can sure make a mess of your cabin very fast
Yes indeed
Lovely little trip. You obviously (at 20C) were not getting the 30C temperatures that we were getting here in central, it was the worst and the little black flies were just aweful, Its been like that for about 2+ weeks except for today its about 15 C (closer to my comfort zone of fall temperatures).
No thank god
If you like sliced canned potatoes you should fry them with the onion and add the bologna when the taters are getting crispy then when the bologna is the way you like it then put in the can of beans. Tasty tasty tasty lol
Nice I'll have to try that
Great video.nice camp mine is in Tidioute pa.
Nice thanks
🎉🎉 good
Thanks
Good work on that wood, should keep the outhouse nice and toasty! :D - also, what spread did you use on the tomato sandwich?
Sandwich spread by heinzs
Thanks, NC USA 🇺🇸
Thanks
When we get low on worms we use the triangle piece and 2 fins underneath the gills. Work very well for bait. Fresh trout is one of the tastiest things a feller can eat.
Nice thanks
Pectoral fin
I’ll give your lure setup a try. We use Panther Martin, Rooster Tail, and Mepps spinners for trout in Colorado mountain lakes. Also, any fires in your area? Hopefully not, but if so, looks like you’re getting lots of rain now. Thanks for great videos.
Thanks
Panther Martin I concur!
Paint that front door hunter green color it would look great.
Thanks
👋😎👍
👍
Enjoy the Flats bye.
Yep
How often do you make it up to your cabin? Nice place. Always chores to be done.
Weekend
Love you ytube show. I know that there are many dusplaced Newfoundlanders that hang on to every word!! I tell all that I know about your show. Love it. Just wondering though. I see that you take water from streams, brooks and ponds. Do you worry about Beaver Fever( giardia). I know several people here in NL suffering from it because of impropered boiled water from ponds especially. Maybe good to mention about the 3 minute roiling boil...(retired nurse here.)
No i don't worry about beaver fever i think those of us born and raised of the land as a tuff tolerance to eating and drinking from nature of which alot of city people wouldn't handle as well I've seen it a hundred times just my observation
Like the bologna
Thanks
7:25 place wheelbarrow under wood before cut so it falls in it.
I usually cut and split right beside the wood shed
Idea bring road base crush rock spread on mud out front will reduce it
Thanks
The reason they curl, is because they haven't had a chance to go through Riggermoretes , once they go through it, they won't curl.
Just let them sit for over 12 hours before cook, plus the will have better flavor..
Another small tip: cut the gills and let them bleed, they taste much better.
Thanks
How many acres does your cabin sit on? Really enjoy the videos! Thanks for taking the time to put them out!
Thanks
