Great stuff Taylor....... I love how you really dig into the community. I was there and I did not see half of the stuff you found. Also agree everyone needs to check out Georgia Bushcraft at some point.
Amy makes some amazing knives with equally awesome leather! I have 8 Warlander knives, and the number is growing. You can't find another maker putting out that quality with leather at her prices.
I have and love those tweezers! That bag that makes a shelf was fire. …thanks for the shoutout. …we are currently working on a pen and pencil! We should talk soon 😁
We should always talk more regardless. lol And I don’t cut my bags down because when I’m backpacking, to save space, I reuse the cook bag and move all the dehydrated meals to ziplocks, which pack down better. 💀
I would love to see a video about the best EDC bags/pouches. I’m sure you’ve mentioned your favorites plenty of times in your videos, but it would be great to have a video dedicated to just that.
I was at my first Fall Gathering and the people were fantastic. And it was great to run into you Taylor. And no, you did not reek. :) Outdoor Element still makes the smaller Contour Feather, with the built in whistle, 1/4 drive, etc.
FYI GRAYL is bushcrafty. Water filtration and storage. If you get the titanium one you can also boil water in it which is purification 🙂. Love your channel, thanks for the video.
8:13 I think many of us would rather have rechargeable BUT, the AA or AAA though usually weaker they’re available everywhere literally EVERYWHERE which is the appeal to me.
08:10 Fenix has 14500 1.5V USB rechargable batteries as a substitute for AA batteries. They work great with my E12 v2. Fenix offer USB rechargable batterites for other formats too (18650, 21700 etc.)
@@BestDamnEDC yes, there is some ambiguity in Fenix's product descriptions. I agree that their 3.6V 14500 batteries cannot be used as an alternative for AA batteries for sure. However, they also offer 1.5V 14500 USB rechargable batteries, which I use for my E12, as well as for my wireless mouse and other stuff powered by AAs. Try it yourself with E12 as an example, when you have a chance. But please make sure you use 14500s with the voltage equal to 1.5.
hi What is the best scissor ... i think it was you, that for a "trade-show" you put together a knife test and the winner was a pair of Shears -- I believe it was the Miller Scissors KS-1 ... the 3 top contenders are ONE: the Miller Scissors KS-1 TWO: the Wiss 7 in. Utility Shears Three: the Knipex Electricians' Shears ... If you could review the three above and any other one you think maybe as good I would appreciate it thanks Peter
I'm actually using a notebook sleeve as my wallet currently. I really like the tuffpossum gear. I just can't do the minimalist wallet, I always wind up needing to carry two, plus cash, defeating the whole purpose .
A good idea for the shovel comparison would be using the USGI Collapsible shovel. They are readily available and probably the easiest and cheapest one to get.
Taylor, in a recent or past vid you presented small magnets for a keychain or other uses. Of course when I went back to find that vid and product, I couldn't. Could you point me in the right direction. Thx
42 bucks for a pouch. I am sure thats the cost of a short run well made pouch that will not rip apart. But the cost. Dang thats two hours after taxes of butt busting work. For stuff you can stick in a larger bag or pockets.
Can that beard comb be used as with ferro rod and with some English flint and a bow drill with that pivot. Those tweezers can go with dog tags, like the A G. Russell ones. Really like the comb, bottle opening fire starting tool. That knife bag could hold a card tool and a map compass.
you got that stuff from Utah> Dude, I wish 18 or so years ago that Utah gave enough shit to have cool stuff happen there. Glad to know they waited 18 years to do so.
Ok, but what is that shirt, too? I destroyed a shirt exactly like that after over a decade of having it (which was one of my favorites of all time) and need to find a good replacement that won't melt like plastic when a spark hits it!
Great stuff as always Taylor. Somehwat offtopic but, do you, or perhaps any other viewers here know of any good EDC sources in Canada? I ask because I've followed at least 20 links now, which you're great fro providing, but those links always fail, as in Canada Amazon has different stock, and US Amazon won't ship items like knives over a border... Just curious...
Hey A little off topic question. I still go to school but also edc. After school i stay out a lot, also in not so nice areas. A lot of dangers that you possibly want to be prepared for. Now obviously schools don‘t like you taking knives or simmilat things to class. Does anyone have suggestions how to deal with that? Thank you for your ideas.
I like your preparedness thinking. A tactical pen or sharpie (as mentioned here) it wont ever replace Benelli M4 for those demanding encounters but as a low profile last ditch tool it is greater than hand to hand alone. Develop emotional fitness and situational awareness first which will keep you safe from most all. Hope this helps, stay safe and move outta Dodge when you can.
14:17 Everyone else looks at that knife sheath and automatically sees Osama Bin Laden too, right? No? Just my weird ass then. It’s so funny when you get the close up look and it’s just beads and knots.
Brand new to edc and understand how expensive this can get. I've given myself a $500 budget for my first carry. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.
Hey bud, you know it’s coming, but what watch are you wearing in this video? I know you like Vaer but didn’t see that specific watch on there site? So how about helping a brotha out! Thanks, Eppy
"you are not gonna complain how small the saw is" this saw is a toy, there is no branch that you can cut with this saw on and can not break easly with you hands especially that we saw how sharp this saw is ;) I know that you are trying not to say bad things about products but please...
14:20 “he wanted it to be a little more affordable” damn 200$ for about a mini 4 inch looking knife. I swear American knife manufacturers want to charge you an arm and a leg just because of where the knife is made lol
I can't be the only one here with no issues dropping $ on gear without blinking, especially to support small makers, but are completely confused about the prices of bags. 🤨
Paladin has ~$65 bags that are much more rudimentary. The dyneema one I showed is much more complex in terms of build and materials. But there is definitely a wide range of
There definitely should be a button on here, where it automatically add these things to my cart. That way I don’t have to shop for it
Well, while I can't make that happen, I have added all the links in the description 😂
No way man! We’d be financially crippled in 2 videos 😅😅
Great pile of GABC loot. We look forward to seeing what you can do to the shovel!

Wow, that fixed blade is amazing! What a work of art!

I agree. Entirely underrated and I’ve told her as much
Amy is awesome! Nice kit, I would love to go to Georgia bush craft someday but it is clear across the country for this Arizona man.
I have and love those tweezers! That bag that makes a shelf was fire. …thanks for the shoutout. …we are currently working on a pen and pencil! We should talk soon 😁
And I always cut my bags down with my knife when I’m eating a dehydrated meal! Easy peasy - no more messy knuckles holding some Ti utensils 🍴
We should always talk more regardless. lol

The little "saw"....is a picture hanger :) You nail it to the back of a frame
Love how you describe a sweet bag with a strap. You know, a purse. lol. Love the gear, even the purse.
The BIC lighter kit and that Tuff Possum fixed blade pouch are really cool! Definitely cool ideas for making survival kits!

Thanks for the coverage man.

People kill me with the long spoons for backpacking meals. If all you have is a basic spoon or shorter, just cut the top of the damn bag off.
