The Lavinia Fisher story is mere urban legend , made up by a man named Peter Neilson who resided in Charleston from 1822-1828 and claimed to have attended the hanging. He wasn't even in the country during the execution. John and Lavinia were executed on the charge of "Highway Robbery" never charged with MURDER.

@@Roamingwiththerichards oh that’s cool. If you’re ever in Saint Augustine, they have ghost tours to. Saint Augustine is very haunted. It’s the oldest city in the United States.
