Based in upstate South Carolina, we're starting out our channel sharing some of our favorite activities in our favorite vacation spots. You'll see us going on ghost tours, playing putt putt, and just generally exploring in different destinations around the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida. Stay tuned, because eventually we plan to spread out to new horizons too!
Dollywood: Sampling 5 Foods with the Summer Tasting Pass!
We bought the Tasting Pass for Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Summer Festival, and tried 5 of the foods they're offering this season! Although some of our favorites from last year didn't come back, they added several new treats which we thoroughly enjoyed! As always, buying the tasting pass was definitely worth it to try 5 different things off the menus and we highly recommend it if you're going to be getting multiple festival foods!

NEW Ride 2024 at Tweetsie Railroad: The Bullwhip!

For the 2024 season, Tweetsie Railroad has brought in a new ride - and it may just be our favorite so far! The Bullwhip opened up on July 4, replacing Round Up, their spinning Gravitron ride. This pendulum ride will swing you back and forth until you finally flip all the way around!

I rode it and I thought I was going to die
Is it scary
The ride looks scary at first, but very smooth and fun to ride. Definitely recommend trying it at least once.

Why are there TV's in the train?
They use them to further along the story during Ghost Train. This train ride they were showing that it was not only the 4th of July, but also the parks birthday.

To me it makes no sense that they only stop at fort boone during Day Out With Thomas
Yeah I really wish they would stop at the outpost first. Not sure why they don’t. Thanks for watching!
@@RoamingwiththerichardsI think it’s just due to that one grade between the outpost and the fort where it goes up the hill, since 12 is having to push thomas as well as pull the usual train. It’s having to work twice as hard to get up there, so if it were to stop at the outpost, it might have a hard time moving again. And you can kinda tell when the train goes faster and faster to get up the hill so it wouldn’t stall.

The wheel press at the end of the shop that is used to press wheels off and on the axles is the same size as at the Huckleberry RR in Flint, MI. It came from the Quincy Mine RR shops in Hancock, MI.

That’s Toby the steam tram, though it is funny you say caboose because on one of those character signs you passed. There’s a red caboose named Bruno from the new thomas reboot all engines go.
Yeah I should have remembered Toby, had him as part of the Thomas train set when I was a kid. That’s funny though, passed the red caboose character sign lol. I have not watched a Thomas show or movie in so long. Thanks for watching!
