- I've always felt like I have needed to make a video about this particular engine, well here it is. =D
This video is dedicated to The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust without whom Tornado would not be here right now. :)

Fun Fact: The music in this video was originally going to be used in Steaming Again. But then I decided to use the HTTYD Soundtrack. And then two months later this music was used in the HTTYD 2 Teaser Trailer. And now I'm using it again....

That moment that Jeremy Clarkson's voice came, I soon remembered a particular episode.

How can Tornado be a legend? A legend is something with a special history behind it. This locomotive at the time of my writing this is only 12½ years old!!!!

Wow this video being up for more than like 7 years and I just discover it now, I must say what a great vid and what a beautiful engine
Stunning.Just stunning. This gave me goosebumps watching this. An absolute piece of work. You really do have an excellent know how into good camera angles and placing of clips against the soundtrack. Funny to think this loco will be under overhaul in just 4 years time. Its all gone too quick!!!
I know the soundtrack is described in the description but whats it called? I have no idea what HTTYD is. I really want this for my Ipod!

HTTYD stands for How to Train Your Dragon, (my favourite animated film of all time ^^)
And this track is done by audiomachine, it's called Beyond The Clouds, from their album Millennium, I think. :)

This was brilliant. Just absolutely brilliant. The camera shakes fit well with the sense of Tornado rushing by! :D
I wish she could run at her theoretical top speed of 100, because that would be an awesome achievement. She technically isn't preserved steam, so she shouldn't have to abide by NetworkRail's speed restriction of 75mph.
And yet mallard set the limit of “in service" trains at 125mph almost 80 years ago.
I personally just suddenly came up with the officially well-knowingly clever idea of preserving Tornado for many years to come by bringing the famously well-known 2008 built from scratch L N E R class A1 pacific type of steam-driven railway tender locomotive over to the USA to work on American-origin railroads by pulling official American-origin rolling stock with no complete trouble whatsoever AFTER OFFICIALLY getting modified for the terrain itself with automatic coupling devices on the front as well as the rear of the tender along with a specifically wonderfully shiny brass bell to ring loudly @ grade crossings during passenger runs as well as officially bein' completely fitted with a cowcatcher to prevent livestock from getting seriously hurt if they stray onto the tracks! By the way, it's basically quite clear that I personally saw Tornado bein' completely featured in several UA-cam videos including the officially well-known episode titled Doncaster Drawn by WildNorWestern where Tornado started pulling a specifically special double-header passenger train with James the Red Engine UNTIL James the Red Engine himself broke down meaning that Tornado's decided to officially resume with only 1 locomotive UNTIL he reached another station on the other side of Gordon's Hill where Gordon the Big blue livery-paintwork carrying the official #4 L N E R class A0 Pacific type of steam-driven railway tender locomotive designed by Sir Herbert Nigel Gresley himself in Doncaster in the officially well-known 1920s assisted him on the remainder of the journey to Knapford station!
Well, as it seems like of course, this official 2008 custom-built in Darlington in 2008 Peppercorn L N E R class A1 pacific type of steam-driven railway tender locomotive known as Tornado certainly would basically very much need to get modified for the well-known American terrain with a specifically wonderfully bright sliver small cowcatcher underneath the buffers as well as a specifically wonderfully bright shiny brads bell to ring loudly @ grade crossings during passenger runs over verrrry loooooong trips as well as a specifically wonderfully bright shiny new American-origin steam whistle that'll basically sound exactly like his/her own officially current whistle as well as officially installing dual-functioning air-brakes that'll basically allow Tornado to stop the train safely as well as a trio of high-intensity headlamps to help with seeing well in the dark as well as in foggy conditions!

And no, they only work with the original Tornado pack not the S&C specials one!

You make excellent Train Simulator videos. I know that you are mostly concerned with British steam engines but have you consider doing something similar to this for for American steam locomotives? Because videos like these and the one about the Flying Scotsman are absolutely phenomenal.

IS IT NORMAL FOR MY FACE TO GET CHILLS BECAUSE MY FACE HAS NEVER GOTTEN CHILLS... On another note, the music fitted this perfectly! Especially towards the end! And did you make the screen shake when the camera was close to the train or does the game do that on its own?

The Peppercorn's realy ruined the Gresley's. but as a class of their own, they are lovely. And is the music you used for the express run not something from HTTYD 2?
The peppercorn A1 and A3 Pacific's really have that feel of the Gresley Pacific's that only the A class Pacific's have.
