What a wonderful life this lady has had! You could travel around the world with her photo albums and never leave your home!! Absolutely amazing! So sad that everything is just forgotten!
I saw so much from India - my country. The wedding pictures especially were very intriguing she probably knew someone or they invited her to see it. She seemed to travel a few cities and states cause a lot of the pictures are from not one or 2 but atleast 5-6 places in India. Best way to spend my early afternoon. What a beautiful life she had. Filled with travels and learning about culture and built a home with things she collected. Wow. I hope to live a life like her ❤️
I am 75 and I have treasures from several aunts, a grandmother and my mother. I have already talked with all of my family telling them things I would like them to have and they have told me things they want. Don't wait until someone dies to decide what to do with their "treasures" . Talk about it while they are still alive. Maybe extended family or friends or even neighbors would like to have some of the treasures.! You give me the opportunity to travel to places I've never been and to see incredible things. Really enjoy your videos guys!
I rip up old photos as my kids will not want keep ones for them as people do not want to fill flats up with things I always threwing things out and give things to charity shops xnanapolly thanks boys❤🙏🦸🏻♂️⭐️🥰☕️🍰🍂🍁👻🎃🌌👑🌞🍂🍁🎃👻😺
This house was an absolute gem. Definitely lived a full life abroad and I'm kind of jealous. Thank you for posting this. This was absolutely mind-blowing. I really enjoyed it. I'm from Ontario, Canada.
She had a wonderful life …. Sad to see it abandoned, someone still pays for the lights so for me , someone cares. Thanks for sharing this story with us.
Another awesome vid from Lesley and Danny. It very sad to see everything , including the photos, just left , for years . Looks like this was once a happy home .
Cluttered not plastered. I’m a retired ESL teacher and your English and Danny’s is so good I can’t help myself wanting to share more English vocabulary
Leslie & Danny. First I want to say thank you both for taking us all on your wonderful adventures around the world. Also, thank you both for this video of a woman named Marie & all the treasures in her home that she accumulated thruout her exciting life. I've been watching your videos for a long time & love them. Your videos are like no other abandoned explorer out there. I appreciate u both so much for what u do. This video left me at a loss for words. It took me a long time to finally be able to comment on it. This video affected me like no other video you guys have made. Before u both go to the basement & we see again the brief images of the different rooms & then some of the wonderful treasures from Marie's life, you then showed a pic of her. Idky why, when I had been smiling thruout the video...why I suddenly felt so sad. I had the biggest lump in my throat & could barely hold back the tears. Actually I wasn't quite able to hold them all. Leslie, I think u suddenly felt it to & could see it on your face as u suddenly became more quiet. I could see i thought mayb some confusion but also wonder that the lights still came on. It seemed that someone would come home at any minute. But sadly no one would. Marie would not b there with all her wonderful things from her amazing travels. I think that's why I became so sad. We accumulate so much in our lives, but cannot take anything with us when we go no matter how much those things mean to us. What a life she must of had to b able to travel the world & see & experience so much plus all the people she would meet in her lifetime. I feel that she was mayb single or widowed with no children. Mayb the pics were of her nieces & nephews or cousins. I think because she could, she filled her life with traveling & with her cat or cats. I'd like to believe that she had a fulfilling happy life & with her wonderful home. Thank you both for sharing it with us. It made me both happy yet sad. Also, I loved seeing u both so excited, happy & filled with wonder & astonishment as u saw Marie's whole life in her home. I don't think I've ever seen u both so excited before lol. I loved it! Thank u from North Dakota Leslie & Danny 🩷
Hey hey dear bro Lesley, I simply had to rewatch this video you produced together with Danny. - The contrast from the rather simple looking outside of this house with the inside is absolutely unbelievable. The former owner truly had a great love for travelling all over the world and collecting all kind of souvenirs/artefacts/items from the different countries she visited during her life. Also these many albums holding memories of the many countries, where she was travelling, was simply fascinating! - Amazing - but also sad to see, because everything is left abandoned back in that house! There were also some beautifully and elaborately carved cabinets filled with more stuff. I would say she had a really strong love for all her collections. Every room was like a legit treasure chest, and even the top floor/attic was like an own appartement and of course full of interesting items. Moresoever it is somehow a mystery, why everything is even in a very good state of preservation left forgotton back. Even the water and the electricity is perfectly working! - I could even imagine, that the former owner might come in through the entrance door at any moment. Also every time it is wonderful seeing how well you and Danny are working together to produce these high quality documentations. Wishing you fullheartedly all the best, peace and happy greetings.
If she has children, this video needs to be shared with them. Thank you Bros for such a comprehensive coverage. Also, I think I saw a Navajo blanket on the wall and a painting too, from the same area. She may have gotten it if she visited the Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA
So many special treasures. I would definitely choose the upstairs. Very cozy . A charming home for sure. You two have great chemistry. Thank you for sharing.
When the last owner may have died and did not leave it within a certain length of time to the rest of family, or to at least one member anyway, it was locked up and all kept by the State most likley. It happens alot and has for some time. The State is very strong on this ,and yet it is not fair in many ways, as people forget to turn it over into someone else's name, before they pass, and then it is tied up in courts a long time, or just never comes out with the favor of family. This was a precious little home ,and so much of their life left behind , and the love they put into it all, and it is very sad. Wonderful choice to share with us! Thank you!
On a couple of the shelves there are round spots where there isn’t any dust. Some item have been removed by someone. I’m in the process of decluttering as I don’t want my kids having to deal with it. I’ve given many many books away to the public library and our church thrift store. Lots of other stuff too that’s nice for another person to have and enjoy. Interesting video guys!👍
❤ She traveled so much she must not have spent much in her wonderful home. But how amazing all those photo albums. They were important to her as documentation of her experiences. I wouldn't be surprised if she is still alive and has visited a couple times. But it all is so sad. It makes me feel like anyone of us could be her and watching this. I believe she'd love that her home is being documented for all to experience. ❤ PS your music is always perfect to me.
The doll is a Spanish Flamenco or gypsy dancer with headdress. Interesting eclectic home with memorabilia from Maria's various travels and enjoyment and enlightenment of the different cultures. She was very fortunate to have such an opportunity for the experience. Maybe she is still traveling, who knows.
I'm from France and recognised several things similar to what my parents had, like the 2 beautiful carved wooden chairs in the first room of the video (they had been my grandparents' dining room chairs). The giant carved wooden spoon and fork .The dainty little dolls seen in a bedroom: these are collectors' dolls from different regions of France in their traditional costumes and I still have the same - some were free high quality gifts with each box of cacao powder sold in the 60s (but I can't remember which brand). I don't have them on display but still cherish them, and remember how excited I was each time I got one! I also recognised a few dolls from other countries a bit like the ones my parents brought back to me and later to my daughter from their trips, as they too travelled a lot and brought back beautiful souvenirs from their trips in all the continents. I saw a few gilded books familiar to me, and a couple of antique French dishes and soupieres. When I lost my parents, my brothers and I did everything we could to keep their most treasured belongings, we shared all the photos between us, and we sold or gave away what we couldn't keep (and my heart is still broken about this). Even though I live 3000 km from there, I brought many things to my home and still cherish them. I loved my parents, I miss them and these special things make me feel they are still a little with us in our daily life. I also have saved a few beautiful things from my grandparents. My children and grandchildren enjoy them too. But our home isn't stuffed to the brim with stuff so it won't be hard for them when we are gone. I don't understand how children can abandon their parents belongings like in the video (unless they physically cannot do anything about it, or there's a legal reason behind it). It would be better and more respectful to keep or destroy the photos, and sell of give away everything else rather than let their mother's treasured belongings rot like this...
A friend, who died this year, was just the same. Unmarried, life long traveller, many photo albums, souvenirs. Her brother couldn't deal with it. He had a service sell everything including her house. Her life just...disapeared...sad for me as we were friends for 50 years. But, all good things come to an end, including Life ☹☹☹☹☹.
OH my goodness. So very sorry. I can relate. When my late wife passed I would have left everything. All pictures and memories of my late wife, high school sweetheart, and my children's mother. If it weren't for a close friend of mine who forced me to take them with me. Thank God he did.😢❤
@@NookoftheNorth that is very sad for you. But how could you not want to save all the photos of your wife and you together when you were married? 🤔And she being your high school sweethearts too! 🤔 Doesn't seem very loving to want to erase every trace of the woman that was your high school sweetheart and than your wife! But glad that a close friend of yours talked some sense into you and you saved your memories of what was left of your life with your wife.
This was an amazing discovery. I am really curious to know what happened. But there is one thing for sure is that people cannot just disappear. There is a very good reason for things to be the way they were left. Kinda sad in a way. Thanks for the exploration and can't wait for the next adventure.
What an interesting place! Saw a few things from my native country Peru 🇵🇪. A doll, pillow, and the alpaca hanging tapestry’s. (Venezuela has no alpacas lol) she must have had a very interesting and adventurous life.too bad 😢 her family has not taken care of her things. On another note her cat looks just like my cat Lalo . Groetjes . Ps the dance from Spain is called flamenco 💃.
Wonderful explored gentleman, I love this one and it does look like somebody is ready to come right back home! This is an amazing place, thank you for selling it to us😊
Such a beautiful home, seems to me belongs to a lady who lived for travelling and collecting treasures along the way. I’m sure she would have had some good stories to tell. Sad her memories have been left behind, maybe she’s passed away🙏🏻 and the family didn’t really care for all her belongings and memories. Sad but it happens. Thanks guys beautiful explore.😊😊 I was born in Spain but live in Australia saw some beautiful Spanish pieces. 💃🏻💃🏻
PLEASE don’t use that product. It hasn’t been around long enough to know how it will affect your lungs. I’m old enough to remember cigarette commercials on Television and how a man in a white doctor’s coat would tell viewers how healthy it was.
Meu Deus! Que tanta riqueza de detalhes e coisas boas e lindas de longe e de perto, estou encantada. Obrigada Danny e Lesley por essa viagem incrível, me senti aí com vocês explorando cada cento e recanto desse lindo lar da Maria. 💋 Pra vocês daqui do Brasil ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I'm new-ish to the channel and I have to say I quite enjoy your videos. It's amazing to see these things and sad at the same time. You guys work great together! 😊
I`m from Indonesia. This house is very beautiful and so many stuffs in it. The electricity is on, I think someone takes care this house paying the bill of it every month.
I absolutely loved this home! Awesome upstairs, cozy and interesting. Loved the kitchen, I knew it was dirty, and with the lights on the atmosphere was very appealing. She had a lot of stuff, yes, not like other hoarder homes with things piled high. Seem somewhat organized. Thank u ❤❤❤
You guy’s are the best. Your excitement is so great to listen to. You guy’s really have a blast doing this. Keep up the good work. Love watching your videos.
This one brought a tear to my eyes. Their is so much memory. Wonderful times, and love of life. Wish I could have been their with you. So much to see. Not enough time in one day to see it all. What an amazing experience 😮 thank you both ❤. I truly love 💕 being their with you, even if is only on You Tube. I am in awe over this one. 😊❤
Beautiful! Makes me want to pack things up in plastic containers to preserve it. Loved the paintings. My father was with an oil company, and he lived in Africa in the late 30’s. We have all kinds of African art including a beautiful end table carved out of wood. The base is an elephant. I love that table. I so hate to see all that deteriorating. Beautiful soup tureens. I have my grandmother’s china with the royal family. I love seeing all this. I would love to preserve those photo albums in case family comes looking.
Hi Lesley en Danny baie dankie vir hierdie video! Ons kon sommer saam met Marie rondreis. Ek moet sê dis die mooiste solder wat ek -en seker julle ook - gesien het Dankie nogmaals.😊
Older people with no immediate family are often the owners of these types of houses. In them you can see the slow progression of their age, and how they were less and less capable of performing tasks that required effort. The slow progression of neglect and loss of interest in keeping things in their place are also clear reflections of the depression and sadness they felt before they left.

I'm absolutely lost for words watching your video today. It's entertaining, just simply amazing. I imagined myself exploring that house with you. Every piece of collection from her travels are really interesting. I can just spend time there and engulp myself inspecting things. But it's also sad. The realities of life, you know. You collect and amass yourself with a lot of beautiful things only to leave everything behind. One day it will just be ruined and sfart to decay. Thank you guys for finding tbat place. In your video you can preserve her treasures. What a video.....really great. Big thanks❤❤❤

I love the way Lesley and Danny work together, they have a great sense of humor

I truly pray that these things find a way that they can be shared rather than disappear or are trashed 😢.❤❤❤
Yes, should be a way for someone to step in and save these treasures if the families don't take care of them.

That was definitely Native American there in the first room. That middle statue was absolutely something I'm familiar with particular to AZ.
Thank you Leslie/Danny for another good House it's Sad the Photo Albums where left and the Family didn't clear the House and give it All to Charity👍🏠

Thank you! What a different place. Its to bad everything is left behind.
I`m from Indonesia. This house is very beautiful and so many stuffs in it. The electricity is on, I think someone takes care this house paying the bill of it every month.
So incredible to see the electricity still on! The tvs!! Thank you Bros. From New Zealand
Thank u ❤❤❤
Wow that must be my favourite video. I wonder what happened to the lady who owned it 😢
You guy’s are the best. Your excitement is so great to listen to. You guy’s really have a blast doing this. Keep up the good work. Love watching your videos.
Most fantastic! Well done. Its hard to believe all that's left behind. What a shame.
Hi from Jacksonville Florida USA, absolutely loved the video. So many memories and to see she had the amazing life.
Amazing! With all the travelling she must've done I wonder how she ever found time for canning. She had beautiful furniture and "stuff".
Such a cozy place filled with so many beautiful memories! Thank you for this nice exploration, boys!
This was one of your best! I enjoyed seeing all the treasures. I am giving my things away now, so there won't be a problem.
Beautiful home. Would love to live there.
Bonjour encore une maison pleine de souvenirs
Danke für das tolle Video , liebe Grüße aus Deutschland !👍👍
Marie i would to have loved to known personally, the stories she could tell with her travels. What a beautiful person she must be or have been.
Can't imagine cleaning that place.....but beautiful.
Witajcie!

Dankie nogmaals.😊
Older people with no immediate family are often the owners of these types of houses. In them you can see the slow progression of their age, and how they were less and less capable of performing tasks that required effort. The slow progression of neglect and loss of interest in keeping things in their place are also clear reflections of the depression and sadness they felt before they left.
That house is gorgeous. I hope that her family saves the house. I would’ve moved in to take care of the house if she was my Mom/family member. 👼🏼
I enjoying watching your vvlog from Philippines!
