- We always wondered where our cat went to and how he gets on the house to come inside. We strapped the GoPro to his collar and he came back home after 30 mins. We fast-forwarded some parts where he stares into oblivion e.g. he spent 7.5mins staring at the motorbikes in the garage. At the end you can see the star of the video

So cute, I love cats! I rescued my "teen" kitty from the streets, well technically she just walked into the lobby of my office a couple of years ago. I made sure she didn't belong to someone else, then took her home to a surprised family, got her treated, removed her fleas, and nursed her to health. She doesn't go outside for long and runs back in the house because she knows where her food, blanket, and cuddles come from!!! 😺 Plus I don't want her getting fleas again 😾

I had a cat named Soco who was the craziest adventurer cat I have ever seen. He used to dissapear for 5 or 6 days and then would show up like nothing was wrong, would grab some food, and head right back out the door. Never had a cat as strange as him, he didnt really like being touched or pet, but if he was in the mood he was all of a sudden this huge cuddle bug and you would wake up to him nuzzling his face into your armpit. Oh he also had the loudest pur I have ever heard. Think he had his microchip scanned and a phone call to us no joke over 15 times. One time he was picked up a good 10 miles away but I swear he knew his way home, he was just out on another adventure. We also got his blood brother, Java, when we got him but his brother was the runt and the COMPLETE opposite of Soco. Java wouldn't go more than 100 feet away from the house and liked being pet and touched, he also liked humans, Soco generally avoided humans, even us that lived there permanently, unless of course he was in one of his moods lol. Java eventually became the dominant one because Soco literally didnt care at all about that, the few times we saw them having hierarchy fights or whatever Soco would just submit right away. I'm telling you this cat was strange. We used to say he was half cat half raccoon, lol. He eventually got hit by a car, which we figured would happen eventually with his wild lifestyle. He lived a good 4 or 5 years in the fast lane though, he lived fast and died young!! I remember one time we had these annoying neighbors who kept calling animal control on us for letting our cats out without a leash (really people? Seriously?) so for one day my dad was like okay we have to keep Soco in. He literally sat by the door meowing his ass off non stop to let him out. We gave in after an hour and just said fuck it. Wouldnt be surprised if that psycho lady ran him over on purpose. The people that hit him didnt stop. Oh well, that's my story of the strangest cat I've ever owned. I do miss the little guy though, Java is still alive though and is pushing 9 I believe, still a homebody.

It's mostly just because of the fisheye lens, which gives us the effect that everything right in front of her looks super huge. Sure, cats are like dwarves in this world, so things appear bigger of course. But I'm sure they don't see the world distorted through a fisheye lens, as this video would have you believe.

really cool video! I liked seeing his little paws enter the frame periodically when the FOV was low enough and when he would jump up and catch his weight on whatever surface he could find. Pretty cool seeing him patrol the roof in real time time. Even the sped up footage of him digging a place to poop looked kind of cool, like he was in an actiony hunting video game and he using the "grub" move on an insect.
