I have a St Croix Premier for trout fishing as well except mine is ultra light. Love fighting trout with UL gear. It's fun. Though this stretch of the river looks more like the Root River since you seems to catch mostly brown.
@anglinginaction7337 My goodness, what a day! A lot of guys wait years to catch any one of those nice browns. I gotta assume you caught some dinks in between these monsters?
Hey man I’m trying to get into recording it’s just hard for me to film and fish and the only vids I have so far are crap and I was sick but keep going I want to see a lower level channel go big man
Nice to see someone using spinning gear handle those trout properly. As a guy who uses spinning gear a lot, it bothers me to watch most guys handle fish they are releasing so poorly. Fly fisherman do it right, and so do you.
Hey sorry just saw this! I fish a lot in Fillmore, Mower, Goodhue and Dakota counties as those are closest to where I live. You can't go wrong with any of the southeastern counties.
Your dedication to proper fish handling is highly commendable ! Great lessons for the viewers.
Means a lot! Thanks for watching
Great photo work.
Thanks for the subscribe bud I'll get to watching these when I got the free time
Nice video and awesome trout man! Thanks for taking care of the trout so well when you catch and release them. Keep it up!

I’m new to trout fishing, where do you recommend trout fishing with in an hour of central MN??🙂
Watab has trout in it
You'll likely have to go further for more quality fish. But if you look on the DNR website you can search based on location.
Where is your friend? Give me the location to go.
Nice action! Where is this creek located?
Driftless region of Minnesota
@@anglinginaction7337 hi, where is Thais lo atinó ?.

Going down this weekend for trout opener? My cabin is on trout run let me know if you are going down could use a fishing buddy
Hey sorry, just saw this, I hit the Vermillion on opener and got 2 decent ones. Hope you had good luck!
Let me know if you ever want to fish.... I've only hit trout run a few times with little luck.
We should fish I plan on running up towards the driftless region and spending a few nights there
looks like that trout took a frogs. those are frog legs.
Bro it's cool you can measure and weigh fish 20ft away In murky water im jelly 🤣
Hi I just moved to Minnesota, I’m so clueless on where to fish for trout. You able to send me some locations?
Feel free to dm my Instagram @anglinginaction
Is this only catch and release?
Yes I don’t keep em
What stretch of water is this in the Driftless?
Yes SE part of Minnesota
Looks like whitewater in the state park

You don't eat them
Nah, plenty of little ones to eat. I let the big ones go and get bigger so hopefully someone else can catch them someday🤟
No way a 20 inch fish is five pounds. I've caught hundreds of 20+ inch browns ice fishing and it takes a two footer to b five pounds.
Said pushing 5 pounds, I don’t weigh em
My Dad is a taxidermist in SE Minny and 20”-22” frequently hit 4 1/2-5 + pounds, and he’s weighed more than a few dozen.
Believe it or not 👍🏻
