You know, grandparents are the most supportive people in our life. They always appreciate whatever either their child or grandchild makes for them.
I lost my beloved grandma last February, and as far as I know, until today she's the one who never complaint about my cooking. I always get compliments but then she will tell how to make it more tasty hahahahaha and that makes me fall in love with cooking. Even though sometimes I just put light salt into her food but yeah, I still get sweet words from her (of course, then I'll cook the tastiest one for her). Gosh, I really miss her.
I hope you will cook more for your grandparents and please make more memories with 'em. I wish you and family happy life. All the best, dear Rosa.

She's Catholic and she goes to church every day. I remember every time I had an exam at university she would light a candle and tell me that she was praying so that everything went for the best 💕

I love your grandmother and grandfather. They remind me so much of my own, my oupa (grandfather) passed away 5 years ago and my grandmother lives far away. Now I am starting my own family and miss this so much. But I will make the most of my time left with my grandmother and strive to create this for my family also.

American here. I smiled when you said your grandmother doesn't have whiskers.
At 4:15. Adding hot cooking water to pasta. This was an old trick I learned years ago. It also makes a nice creamy sauce if you also add Reggiano cheese with the water. Cacio e Pepe is another dish where this trick works well.
Thank you! I don’t like Parmesan cheese so I never add it to mix (my grandpa obviously loves it but he adds everything later)

We do use everything! Probably less pepper because my grandpa is a bit sensitive but we actually use a lot of garlic ahaha and just the right amount of salt 🤌

By less cheese you mean less cheese to savoiardi ratio? Less cream in between layers? I am the opposite I like less savoiardi
You mix the cheese with eggs white and sugar to make the cream. By less cheese I mean I add less cheese when making the cream :) hope it helps!
@@RosaDaniello Ah, okay, I understand. I make it without eggs, I am afraid of raw eggs, so I use whipping cream and mascarpone. I know, I know, it's sacrilegious to Italians :) but raw eggs freak me out. Any idea how to make it with eggs, but not raw?
@@myflyingkidney no idea honestly! But I’m pretty sure if you look for some vegan options they might suggest a substitute! Also, I am very sensitive to raw eggs like I can’t have a normal brunch without asking to fully cook my eggs let alone Benedicts/ramen but for some reason I don’t feel sick with tiramisu?? I have no idea why I just know I don’t feel like I have to throw up for two days and I’m happy 😌
@@RosaDaniello hmmm that's really interesting. i used to not mind raw eggs when I was younger and I always found them easier to digest than coooked eggs. you may be slightly intolerant? or raw eggs just don't sit well with you :) I love your videos they remind me of my grandma's sister who used to cook for me the same way your grandma cooks for you :)

genetics! Also in my case I work-out / walk a lot (also I don't live in italy so this is a vacation for me and I'm eating more than what I usually do ahah). For my grandparents, they usually have a very light dinner, so I think it helps balancing everything!
