We really had the BEST time in Liechtenstein. It made me (Alison) really want to join a band, if for no other reason than to get to wear the awesome outfits. Wildmandli Guggamusik Triesenberg rocked our world. Thankfully so much guys. 😍😘💜🤟

@matthewparrott7841 Hey Matthew, Funnily enough, it's not the first time I've been called that. I adore them all and they know it. We could never have left him caught up like that. We could hear the poor lad bleeding from the motorhome. 😞
It was a lovely country. Small but perfectly formed. 😍
Glad you enjoyed it. Much love 💜🤟

      Hi..!
Great to hear from you. Your food was delicious and your waitress was absolutely lovely. As we didn't have any data that day, we couldn't use Google translate to work out what the menu said, we just picked randomly and then guessed. Was Darren's description of what he ate correct..?!? Not that it will bother him, he still maintains it was the tastiest food he'd ever had.
Thank-you so much for your restaurant and your comment.
Much love Alison and Darren 💜🤟

Beautiful country, the scenery looked amazing. The fresh white snow lovely. One thing I have learned in this life is that people love to get into costumes.🎭🤟

Oh I'm so glad you got to show us what we missed, as we almost went here but ran out of time. It looks like an adorable little country, and very quiet and peaceful? Some lovely cinematic shots there by the only-makes-your-hand-ache-after-30-seconds-submerged river too 😍
The fun and games of figuring out whether you can use Euros or need a new currency as you travel across Europe should be interesting 😂 There's a lot more European Union nations with their own currency still than we realised.
Food looked and sounded tasty, and thank god at that price 😂 The burger looked huge, and Darren's sounded like a Liechtenstein equivalent of comfort food.
The very idea of having kids makes me (Dan) shrivel up in horror, but occasionally they inspire an "awww", and that lit up choir was one of those rare moments, that was very sweet.
Looking forward to Austria, take care guys, love to you both ❤️🤟

      Morning guys,
The area above the tunnel was blissfully quiet and so tranquil. It was too early in the season to be mad with skiers and too late in the season for many hikers, so it was perfect.
Comfort food is always good when it's cold and Darren lucked out with it. We've learned our lesson now though and I download the appropriate language onto Google Translate before we enter, so that we never have to try to rely on our wits for conversation and guesswork, it's really hard work. 🤣
The children actually seemed adorable, even the ones in the town. The kindergarten kids all have to wear high-viz vests at all times and walk around in pairs holding hands. So much sweeter than the screaming monsters that we have met in a lot of towns/cities. 🤣😂
As for currency, Liechtenstein accepted Swiss Francs and Euros in some places, it was just Sod's law that the parking meter only accepted Francs. Albania accepts their own LEK and Euros in a lot of places too, even on the village market. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's all very random.
You'll have fun trying to work it out anyway. 🤪 Much love and stay safe. 💜🤟

Enjoy and thanks for sharing. Hope you are managing with the cold weather! I imagine it gets cold there and is hard to keep warm & dry in the winter.

      Hey Steven,
We weren't there for too long, but we really enjoyed our stay and plan to go back at some point, like so many places. 😍
Perse isn't too difficult to keep warm as long as we have access to LPG gas.
Thanks for your support as always. 💜🤟

Lovely! Such a small country! Don't doubt it's expensive ... beautiful! It's not a video if Alison does not find her animals - she's and animal person!!! The church was simple forvsure but very nice and agree with Darren especially outside. What lovely band and costumes AND the children with lights and singing. Aweee I loved it. Glad you could get francs! 🙈
Telly I think you are long gone from Austria and hopefully enjoying some warmer and sunny weather.

It's small but perfectly formed. I don't find the animals, they mostly find me. 🤣 The goat is what I was staring at when Darren was talking. I waited for him to finish before I said about it. 🤣🤣
The Day of Light parade of the kids was delightful and the main band was right up our street.
Yes, we have left Austria and a few countries after that, we're currently in Greece. 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for watching Elaine. Much love 💜🤟

@elainebramson7042 We have met some lovely people already. I (Alison) fell in love with the Greek people many, many years ago. It's the first time either of us has been to the mainland though. What were your favourite places, they may be on our list. We're hoping to spend 3 months or so travelling round. 😍💜🤟

@findingxanadulife we enjoyed Athens, love Mykonos and Santorini and a couple other islands. The views, the people, the food, and all the historical. I think in Mykonos I went into every church! There were tons of them, all tiny but different inside. In Santorini we went to Oia and the large church in the middle of town left me either my mouth open. The chandeliers and the icons. There was another gorgeous large church in the outskirts of Santorini that was amazing as well.
I think one of the most amazing churches was/is in Rhodes. We've been there several.timrs and hit different areas each time. I saw a narrow but very tall steeple so I would my way through the narrow allies til I found it. There was a person outside 👀 keeping an eye on folks. At entrance there were the most amazing large silver icons. It was very orthodox so many tourists were not allowed in due to shorts. I was wearing pants that went just under my knees but I still thought it was cool they had baskets providing wraps so you could go in. Inside the small church was lovely with many icons BUT best part was a walk into their museum thru the church. OMG antiquities of silver, extremely old bibles, and other sacred books/documents. Wow I could not believe it. It was not a huge place but pretty big with things enclosed in glass. This was the time we did a private yournof almost entire island. Went to Anthony Quinn Bay and it was gorgeous and had lunch in a lovely seafood place there overlooking the Bay. In other trips we've done the old historic town. Gorgeous, ruins ♥️, great good, shops, live music, great ambiance. We lived that.i love going back and looking at pics. I normally take close to 500 pics at each place we visit. Save them on computer by island/country/place (or city/town) and then i can delete. I must admit i don't delete many 🙊🙈 i have even done Greek dancing on the street in Santorini. I am not shy. I even grabbed some man to dance with me. Lol I found a man playing music like Sorba the Greek and that's all I needed. I've learned to do the basic steps and am happy to do them. You only live once and I take advantage of every situation that arises.
Wwve been to Cyprus, think it's Greek also. Earlier this year. Saw many helicopters and activity. I had no idea half is Turkish or i would have crossed over. It was hard to get around as tourists cause the main area is pedestrian only and there was quite a distance from where our bus let us off. With a somewhat handicapped husband he would not have been able to walk all the blocks to get to coast, walk there and walk back. So we walked around a bit on our own. We've been to Borum Turkey on coast not too far from the post to get to Ephesus. We liked it a lot, went to supermarket and bought several tins of coffee. Love Turkish coffee. Had a great lunch overlooking ocean. We were there on a country anniversary and the country put on a hell of a show with air force planes. At some point all the ships in the harbor or near coast started ringing bells, blowing horns. A line of small vessels showed up. So cute and soooo small. Soon the harbor was full of boats making noise and I filmed a lot of the spectacular show. They were great aviators they turned, twisted and came down VERY dangerously close to land. I am happy we were there on that special day. I still hope to get to Istanbul. We will ve there 2 days next October during out trip but it won't be enough. I want to go all over. I found a place PAMUKLLE that I wanna go. Check it out. Apparently very popular. Looks amazing. Of course Ankara, Cappadocia, and many other places. It will have to be a longer visit of at least 2 weeks.
I'm making kuchen shortly will send a pic via Instagram not durebif I can send him you tube. One way nor another you'll get it.
