This will probably be that last update in a while. If i’m planning to sell that game I need to star making some actual content. So hopefully the next big update will be the playable demo for the full version of Gearbits! That’s the plan anyway, Let’s hope that I can stick to it. - Ігри
I downloaded this version two days ago and I gotta say it’s really impressive! Even though the story missions are simple I became invested and wanted to see more. The loadout design, combat, and AI are very well done for a small game. I can’t wait to see what you add next!
Thank you. I really appreciate comments like this. I'm still kind of figuring out what I want to do with the missions. I also feel that they could be more complex, but some of my testers have said that it's too hard to tell what they are supposed to be doing. I hope that I can find a nice middleground.
@@Duckpondanimations I really like the work your doing man. I can’t imagine it’s easy. Just out of curiosity though, how would one become a tester?
@@badlaxeanimations3205 I hadn't thought about testing. So far I've just made every update public and collected feedback from the players afterwards. Deticated testers might be a good idea, since I'm eventually planning to make a full game out of this. I'm really grateful for your interest and I'll be sure to let you know if I set up something to test. But right now I'm taking a break from working on the game. I have some less exciting responsibilies to take care of.

Epic game man! I know your far ahead of Lego Stop Motion but do you have any tips?
I wouldn't say that I'm "Ahead" lego stop motion. More like somewhere else on the same axis. It's not like lego is below any other medium, it's a tool, same as clay or paper. That's why my advice would be to practise the basics and try animation with different mediums. Stop motion and 2D might be done differently, but the principles of animation still apply. Knowing how you would express a motion in 2D animation might make you better at showing it with stop motion. Also try to look at animations, 2D, 3D any kind, and really focus and try to find the elements that make it work. And then try applying those elements to your own work.
