We all appreciate your effort and transparency and at least allowing us all to have the opportunity to try the game out and give feedback. And it is great that you take this feedback on board and accommodate for it as best you can with the resources you have. You started with an Idea and allowed the fans to grow that idea with you.

Feedback has been really valuable. First of all, it really helps to know that people care about the game enough to give their thoughts. And second. There's been some really insightful suggestions from testers. Some things that I didn't really consider at all. And some suggestions about features that I was hesitant to implement until the testers suggested it as well. Thanks for the continued support

@@JustaSeraphim-_- The game itself is made with Unity. The 3D models are made with Blender.

I actually made this video a few days ago. Since then a few things have happened. First, the last two GBs now have UVs and some texturing. Second, THEY ANNOUNCED ARMORED CORE 6! I can't tell if that's good or bad for me. Because it could get more people interested in mecha games, but also there's no way I could compete with armored core.
Also, new update. Go and have a look quackpond-games.itch.io/gearbits-test-site/devlog/461671/14-update

i think we need more mechs games that cater to the casual crowd. Create your own game and try to exist along side it not just compete lol

@@eclipsXe No. I think I'd rather delay the game by a few years to make a 100+ hour story campaign and an impossible amount of unbalanced game mechanics. All the while I waste everyones time and collect patreon money.
But seriously, thanks for the comment. I'll try to make this game the best I can, and hope that people will like it.

@@vitrajustme4436 I don't know how the game would work on a touch screen. So a phone port is very unlikely

Take your time! Hopefully you’re having fun making it. I love gearbits to be honest, when the last update came out I had a lot of fun playing it. I’m impressed with the care you’ve put into this game, it plays very smoothly even in comparison to something like Gundam Evolutions. Personally I enjoy your game more because the mecha behave more like mecha and you’re able to mix and match weapons to create your own personalized unit.
Anyway don’t feel rushed by any means, it’s your project and it’s important to take it at your pace.

I am having fun making the game. It's really rewarding to see some code or a 3D model implemented into the game after working long and hard on it. Sometimes I'm worried that I'm the only one who likes it, so it's good to know other people play the game too. I'm not in a rush to release the game, but I'd like to finish it someday.

Sure, armored core is coming out but, this is your game. Find the feature in it that makes it unique and give it your all. It's your first big project so it won't be amazing like a triple A. But if you keep your pace and your passion, it'll definitely turn out to be something amazing. All I can say is, you can look at games like Daemon x Machina and Hardcore Mecha since your game has a really similar arcade vibe to it in terms of the enemy difficulty and numbers. Hardcore Mecha especially since you're not doing fully customizable units whose performance can range across a huge spectrum as a result. Looking forward to what follows this project

will the game have mod support similar to ravenfield since they both run on unity?

I don't really know how I would facilitate mod support, but I sure would love it if someone wanted to mod the game.
