I love that the ladder is interchangeable. I look forward to seeing the bulb show! This inspires me to get out and buy some different bulbs, those are so pretty! My squirrels eat crocus bulbs, but maybe if I grow them in my poly tunnel I’d have some luck. Bulb planting is fun,for sure. 🌸🌸🌸😀🌸🌸🌸
Hi there. I have covered my bulb pots with a very fine mesh to keep the squirrels out. We have one in particular that is so tame. Hope you had a lovely weekend. Diane x
Bravo Diane I just love bulb planting, the promise of things to come after the dark cold days of winter. I like topping mine with horticultural grit the last bag I bought was dark granite as it was all available locally. I prefer the sandy buff colour. You are inspirational and very easy to watch, thank you for sharing, bfn.🐞🌻🌱
Ah, thank you Jane. Yes, I must buy some more grit; It does look good on top of the pots and you can immediately tell if something has been digging around. Hope you had a lovely weekend. Diane x
Those bulbs are going to look great on your ladder Diane. One thing that makes me so irritated is a so called indelible marker pen that doesn't work. I've even had some that work on a few labels but not them all. Andrew and Paul on the Mad about Gardening channel have a little hand held machine that prints their labels and I keep wondering if I should splash out on one. I've been planting Tulip bulbs today as it's been nice and dry outside. Just hope the squirrels don't dig them up! Hope you have a lovely week. xxx
Thanks Wendy. I'm with you on the indelible pen anger. I too get disproportionately angry with them😁. The machine sounds intriguing but definitely something that I would immediately lose. Hope you had a lovely weekend. Diane x

Hi Susie. So nice to hear from you and to see you in your garden. Sorry to hear about your hand. Hope it's getting better.😊
I ordered miniature daffodils for next spring and have been potting them in containers, very excited for next spring.
Me too Tina. I do love the miniature daffs. Hope you had a nice weekend. Diane x
